What an incredible ride, we saw so many wild animals but they were always just out of camera range. We both got very excited on the day and the vocabulary was limited to a lot of WOW's so sorry about that! Now with regards to the tumble, when you struggle to reach the floor and put your foot on a sunken drain cover on a slope there is only one thing that is going to happen. Grandiose is that the word.lol what I think when going into Cody Wyoming from the north or from the east. High foothills mainly sagebrush but a few trees. Not like leaving the park where it's definitely alpine and mountains.
Bunny, my would be ex South African biker friend. You must be careful, exploring places out of bounds. You might meet a naughty stranger, who likes doing saucy and naughty things, with bikers.

It's cold but you are riding with your neck exposed to the elements ?? We used to rush around those roads on our superbikes....until the roads got too bad, potholes, etc

Most if not all trail bikes are stupidly tall and for a reason . But if your legs aren’t long , there will always be occasions when you put a foot down and the ground just isn’t there . Huge respect and understanding !
If you like this sort of riding , look at the Desert X. Ian (Big Rick Moto ) says it’s it’s the best adventure bike that he’s ever riden and on pavement also . Leonoor ( LNR Moto) rides hers all over the alps and I’ve only seen her drop it once. Is it too tall for you , don’t know .🤔
