    Helo sir? So many times we saw a prepositional phrase that follow adverb of manner
    He ran quickly in the race
    He fought bravely with the thieves.
    Do we also consider it adverb phrase?
    Second question : what time is it?
    Sir usually we follow wh question with verb and subject structure but here time (noun) follow wh question.

      If a phrase modifies an adjective, an adverb or a verb, call it an adverb phrase. That's it.

    Mr Ashish,
    Hi:
    In the lesson 'Adverbs', I understand there has crept a wrong punctuation under the lesson 'Conjunctive Adverbs'.
    Your e.g.: We worked really hard, however, we did not get a job.
    As far as I know there must be a semi-colon after the independent clause and before the conjunctive adverb followed by a comma.
    The sentence becomes;
    We worked really hard; however, we did not get a job.
    Thanks
    Hyderabad

    • @EnglishWithAshish
      @EnglishWithAshish  3 года назад

      It was supposed to be a semicolons. I haven't checked it yet. But I trust you. It might have been a typing mistake.
      Thank you for the correction, Jaleel. Much love to you! Stay safe!
