Four adverbs. Four different uses.
Hi Guys!
Still, already, just and yet are four adverbs that English students can find a bit confusing. These words are very common and it's important to know how to use them.
In this lesson, we'll look at:
1) the definition
2) when we use these adverbs
3) the position in a sentence (very important!)
4) the difference between American English and British English

🔥COMMON QUESTIONS: Arnel, how do you edit your videos? What software do you use?
I use a combination of these two tools:
For video editing / screen recording
✅ techsmith.z6rj...
For images / graphics / stock videos / thumbnails:
✅ partner.canva....
(These are both affiliate links. I'll earn a small commission if you make a purchase at no additional cost to you 💜.)
I've used both these tools since day 1. If you go to my very first RUclips videos, you'll see my progression from then until now. You can do it too!
✉️Let me know in the comments or send me a direct Instagram message (arnelseverydayenglish) if you want me to make a video lesson on how I create, edit and design my lessons. If enough people are interested, I'll definitely make one for you guys!

I have finished the classes just now, twice more is worthwhile, all of them still fresh each time. Amazing teacher. Thank-you.
I have ever seen such a english teacher.proud of you
You are the best teacher ever!!!!!! From now on I will learn English.
Even though I already have a great amount of knowledge about this wonderful language, I am still learning a lot of new things, and , a proof of it , is what I just learned today by watching this video. I've haven't seen all your videos yet but I will watch them eventually.
I already know a lot of English, but I'm still working on some grammar. I guess I can already pronounce a great deal of words well, but entonation, liaison, what stuff! I haven't mastered them yet. I've recently bought a book, American Accent Training by Ann Cook. I think it'll be a long journey. But what is amazing is I just got a deep insight into "still, yet already and just" thanks to a smart, detail-oriented teacher, Arnel.
Your presentation method is very efficient and easy to understand. Thank you!
Teacher Arnel! You are great teacher. You teach in very appreciated steps and details. Really I appreciate your explanation. I am following up several media teachers but still I don't face teacher who compares your teaching. Actually I understood many topics. Even though I studied all about I didn't understand those topics but now really I improved my skills. That's why I wrote you this comment and believe that these words are not enough to explain what you are doing but it is my ability english.
Thank you so much.
Hi ..you r the amazing teacher i have ever seen. Ur explanation is very easy to understand every one.

Thanks teacher, you have been helping me a lot.
Thank you Arnel. 🙏😃
I have a question though. I see that English native speaker use "just" in present tense. For example: I just get home. Is it correct? Can we use just to indicate action we do at the same moment we speak?
I loved your english lessos ! Thanks you !
You are welcome! I'm happy you like my lessons! :) :)
Even though the lessons is too long , l'm still watching it ....Thank for the lesson😊👌
Good class Mrs Arnel. I'm STILL not feeling ready to write a long essay. But I've ALREADY begun to practice with short notes here on youtube channels. Have you seen my comments YET? You may not remember as you have so many subscribers that keep up with your job. I like to highlight the phrasal verb that I spot in the video, and today I heared you say LOOK OUT FOR. Yes, I always look out for these kind of expressions because they're are too otherworldly for us as english learners and are very used in everyday spoken english. I JUST learned from you some days ago the expression KEEP AN EYE OUT, which is very similar to LOOK OUT FOR.
Thank you and keep it up!!!
Hi Arnel, my English is not good, but your teaching method is simple and easy to understand. When I am busy, I will let the advertisements in your videos play freely (I really like this bad habit!)

As Matter of Fact:
A Class of High Level.
What APK do you use so it looks interesting?
Great explanation, thank you :3
What's your take on "barely." I lived in Utah and so many of my coworkers used barely to mean recently. Like "I just barely did that." Or, "I just barely got here." It drove me nuts as I was taught barely means "almost didn't." Like "I barely missed that car." Or, "I barely passed that test."
Thank you!! Excelent!
Hey ur videos are really good, could it be possible for u to make videos on a more regular basis like one lecture every 3 days Plz. Tq so much.
Don't forget to hit thumbs up.

NICE VÍDEO, CONGRATULATIONS.

hello, just wanna ask where you from ms.arnel? you're so great..
Make a video of preposition how to use
"Yet" is the most powerful word amidst those four ones observed into.
Hi Arnel🍀!
I just saw a K-pop video, and I was surprised how they used “yet” in the sentence 🧐
The title is : “Yet to come”
The sentence is:
“My moment is yet to come”
I never heard it before… Is this position ok?
I hope you answer me, because this video was updated 1year ago …
I love your chanel
Very impressive
Please do about would rather
Hi aghashee, kuamsamnida!⚘
What a great ❤
❤️❤️ thank you ☺️
11:45 yet: negative & questions; always at the END of the sentence; waiting for or planning on doing so
14:04 yet: positive -> HAVE/HAS YET TO + basic verb; very formal
The stolen jewels HAVE YET TO BE recovered = The stolen jewels HAVEN'T been recovered YET
The judges HAVE YET TO ANNOUNCE a winner + The judges HAVEN'T announced a winner YET
Thank you for your lesson, It was really nice!
I have a question.
"yet" it seems that you can use it in affirmative sentences.
He loves her yet.
He still loves her.
What's the difference? 😅
You're right.
I have yet to meet your mother.
He's poor yet he gives to charity.
Arnel explained this at 14:10.
Brilliant
Great
