I'm totally with you on the getting hooked with larger scale projects. I think with the ever growing scale of builds it's really hard to know where to draw the line. Sometimes it feels impossible to make the more relaxed paced videos because of the competition, but definitely something every creator needs to do for there own sanity. Great video and build as always buddy, I look forward to seeing more of your smaller build projects =)

Been watching for years now Jera, I'd absolutely love smaller builds to get weekly uploads, your energy and creativity is unmatched and the more we could get the better!!
I hate that the RUclips algorithm really kills creativity and variety. I’d love to see some like 2-3 part videos maybe taking a slower look at building and detailing a couple pieces to a village like one focusing on a simple creepy village and. The next on a big haunted manor on the outskirts of the village, then another on like a creepy forest or church or something. Seeing you place the interior too. Hopefully something works out where you can do what you like and not get burnt out

One thing I really REALLY love about your videos is the small cinematics where we feel immersed in your builds, it's truly a peaceful video that is relaxing and there's not a lot of contents like this 😁! Hope you'll always be able to do what you like!
i love the smaller, more relaxed videos! you have obviously given much thought to your situation and how minecraft build content will always funnel into bigger, crazier builds, which then lead to a burnout. And while i do enjoy these kinds of builds, it can feel exhausting. i have found to take more appreciation in the smaller, cozier builds, as they usually are more detailed. But most of all, i wouldn't want to watch someone exhaust themselves in workload, just to see bigger, more extreme minecraft creations. So let me just say, no matter what, your content is absolutely amazing and still will be, regardless of the size - as long as you don't overwork yourself :)
Jeracraft, I love you. I play Minecraft for almost 13 years now and I hate that most of the creators just following trends and trying to catch the next hype. Going back to the roots and doing some smaller and more detailed chilling builds makes your channel stand out. Its soo relaxing to watch when there are not 1000 jumpcuts and dramatic music. Please continue your great work. Best regards, A true fan of yours since many years!
I followed you for years now. I still have the stick and used to rebuild some of your tutorials on my worlds. I would love to see this kind of content again.
Jera, I had been following you for years. To give you context; I bought your minecraft sword usb, with the world downloads, back when you were raising money to upgrade your PC. I followed for the smaller content, like the medieval tutorials. The epic stuff as great at first, but over time I drifted away because that was not what was here for. I came back to check things out today because I've recently started a private Empires SMP-style server with my mates, and I remembered these good old days. This smaller content that you are more comfortable with is what really keeps me going. This is the stuff I'd rather see more often. I miss the days of looking up more modest medieval house/building/ship/castle tutorials to take inspiration and ideas from in my own projects. And I would definitely prefer to see you work at a sustainable pace, so you don't burn yourself out!
Im gonna be honest, i like your content because of the attention to detail, not the scale. So long as you make beautiful builds, I’ll be happy no matter the scale
I agree with so much of what you said. I'm a member of a wonderful community of content creators with vastly different audiences and most of us agree that retention editing etc is getting out of hand. A lot of us have chosen to step it back a bit and adjust to less views and slower growth, instead of burning ourselves out. Keep up the great work!
I think in the future some of those people that doing those content well run out & where the views that are watching those videos well get burnout & start watching something else. That why I always sub to smaller Minecraft RUclipsrs because they know how to make content more fun to watch then getting flooded by clickbait or just over edited videos.
You hit the nail on the head when talking about yt content. I love more laidback stuff like this. I miss it. This is what made Minecraft yt so beautiful in the old days. Simplicity
Honestly, I don't really follow you for having a bigger build in every video, but just because I like seeing what you build. I don't care if the builds are small, I just like seeing you build and get inspired
I have always loved your style of videos. Honestly these days it feels really rare to see people that make minecraft builds, to put little stories and nice fantasy elements in their builds. It all feels like a copy pasted version of "I did thing but big!" So I think even your bigger projects feel really refreshing.
Jeracraft, thanks for being so much more honest. I can feel you, I’ve started ramping up videos quite a lot with all very similar premises and they all get pretty exhausting and repetitive. I’ll be here to support you no matter what :)
There is something just so refreshing about this video. We all love the humongous, over the top projects that you’ve become famous for, but these smaller scale projects are a really nice change in pace.
I LOVE the smaller scale. The little trinkets everywhere add so much more life to a build in my opinion compared to (still extremely impressive) massive builds that are mostly vast landscapes with a few massive builds in it. If you really feel that the big builds aren't worth it anymore or are too much effort and less fun than these types of videos/tutorials etc. PLEASE embrace the change. Maybe less views but it's so wholesome I just love it.
Personally, I’ve watched every kind of content you’ve made, you are just really talented. But one topic I would love you to touch on would be tips and ways to make your medieval like builds better. How to give them depth and texture etc.
Personally, I love the idea of smaller and more relaxed content. I've always loved your content, I loved this video, and I'm not gonna stop loving what you do just because you don't follow the trend of always going bigger. Wether you build small or big, your builds are always stunningly beautiful, and the one in this video is no exception.
I seriously can no longer stand the hyped up content with how stimulating it is, this is why I love your channel, you actually got me to start building in the first place, now I have made a lot of cool designs such as an ancient city base of nothing but quartz that has a nether portal at the top instead of a fake portal ( still mad about that), you inspired me to do a lot!
I didn’t play Minecraft until the pandemic but once I started I quickly fell down the Minecraft RUclips rabbit hole. Your builds and artistic visions in the game have inspired me so much! Your grand worlds or even this smaller project are all phenomenal. I definitely like this smaller scale content! Beautiful as always!
It’s nice to have a smaller build that is more of an achievable inspiration. I don’t have the tools or time to make massive builds, so these smaller ones are fantastic!
really refreshing hearing someone speak abt the current content creation landscape while still doing something they enjoy! been watching your stuff for a long time, hoping there's some kind of shift in the kinds of content people are willing to watch! please keep at it :]
As a fellow builder, the whole "getting carried away" thing always happens to me as well. It's stupid, because you end up just completely overreaching yourself, for not a lot of benefit. However, looking at it once you're finish is great though.
About the screaming 100 intro type, The reason why I love Jera’s video’s, is because of the relaxing vibe, little shots of the enviourement with peacefull music. I’d prefer that way over the fast tiktok stuff.
have you thought of doing a vid on what the community has built on your server? I think it would be a cool idea to see how their builds have changed from that short you made a while back.
Totally agree on the state of RUclips. I've been watching older episodes like podcasts, watching people like Rendog's recent episodes (where he went on vacation and basically just told a story while building slowly) and loving it. A smaller sphere in the midst of all this new content is also Minecraft Longplays -- people willing to just sit, listen/watch, and chill with the video. I hope for more like this :) Simple, easier videos for you that we as viewers get to take in and take inspiration from more.
More smaller scale builds would be great and explaining your thought process too, sorry to promote another chanel but flowstate is a good example of what im talking about😂
Had never thought to comment before, but you're a really good youtuber. Love the out of the box thinking here, along with the smaller builds. Most people aren't generating massive worlds and these small details are super helpful. You look like how I thought you would haha.
Bro please keep this minimalistic and peaceful content up and running. I definitely am a fan of those little details! Thanks for the effort Jera!! Peace and stay Hydrated!!!!!
whenever i play minecraft, i usually dont get very far into the game and get caught up in town builds like this, so this video is perfect for me. I'd love more smaller scale builds than 'I built the entire concievable universe in survival'
There are still a community of people who want to see some chill builds. Just the type of thing that we could create ourselves so we can relate to the builder. Theres definitely a gap now for the chill survival friendly builds, so i dont think youll lose out too much if thats what you want to make. its what i want to see anyway!
Hello @Jeracraft I've started watching your videos a few years ago and was especially fascinated by the project "Kingdoms of Greymane". With every new episode I thought that the build was acctually alive and the people living there would help expand the world. I love your eye for detail, like everything has its own story and special purpose. I've also enjoyed your server-project to bring a world even more to live with real players who can explore your custom map, build civilization and write history together. I personally would also enjoy a more frequent upload-rhythm and see your builds grow. Go on and build the world you want!
As a person that loves to pick up the Minecraft shovel as well to build some cool stuff, I enjoy the smaller scaled projects way more. You can soak up so much more inspiration you can actually use in your own builds.
To be honest I've been watching your stuff for a few years now and I feel like you're content is so perfectly unique and calm while still having the fun atmosphere. Keep up the good work, it's the small things that count.
I really like your building tip videos, it helps add ten times more detail to literally anything I build and I need to re-watch some of them right now for my new survival world. (I'm 4 days late to watching this from being busy so I know you might not see this but I really do appreciate the original content you make, not a single video goes unwatched all the way through)
I used to watch you back when I didn't have a RUclips account, following your tutorials for my own worlds, and out of all the videos that was recommended to me, this one came up. So now with a RUclips account 8 years later, I can happily say I'm subscribed. Keep up the great work m8!
I personally love this style more, i used to watch you years ago for all your building tips and tutorials and i love the scaled down version on your videos a its more relatable and something more people can be inspired to build from. Keep up the great work bud!
This feels like a massive build. I can barely manage my own house in minecraft lol. It's really cool seeing how people build things, even small things, especially small things I can copy in my own game to learn some techniques. So thank you for this!
I used to watch your content around 4-5 years ago and now that I’m watching it again I can say that I definitely missed the laidback content with beautiful houses and buildings
I have been following you for years now, and I'm sad seing you struggle finincially. You are for many people the best minecraft builder and many people would love to buy a course from you about building. It doesn't need to be something crazy, maybe a course between the range of 30-50$.
I can’t afford to become a patron right now, but I have been watching this channel for 6+ years and as much as I love the giant mega projects this video was one of my favorites you’ve made in a very long time. The smaller project made it feel more personal and I really enjoyed the fact that you talked about things other than just the project as you were building. Your content has encouraged me to keep building and stay creative over the years, thank you for all the inspiration.
As an idea, I loved your tutorial of a castle build, showing us in real time, step by step, how to build it. Maybe doing more shorter videos like that, so we can try out your own builds like the cottages, marketplaces, fisheries, and even small towers, can be great.
jera, i gotta say, having your beautiful village transformation as pretty much "background footage" for you talking about whatever is just so nice. this is like a lil podcast
I absolutely love the smaller projects that you can put more detail into. I’d watch your builds regardless of how grandiose they are, build what you want and relax with it, the videos are great!
I haven't been getting your videos pushed to my account until your most recent, which is sad. But now I get to go back and enjoy 9 months of uploads all at once. Cheers for taking us back to our roots with builds like this.
I think having a series on a smaller project might be cool! Like smaller higher details, a town like the one in this video but over the span of 3-5 episodes with more storytelling- as it’s your storytelling in builds that I’m here for!
Honestly, I quite enjoyed the smaller and more detailed builds instead of the super mega builds. Watching this really hits the nostalgia and I'm all here for it.
Yo Jera! I've been a fan of your content ever since I was a little kid, I remember coming home from school and just staring in awe at your videos like that one nether fortress transformation and your end portal tower and trying to make something similar in pocket edition (I failed miserably) you are pretty much the reason I started to enjoy minecraft! Its cool that you are trying new things and im really glad youve sticked to quality over quantity! Me personally I'd love to see videos where you try to step out of your comfort zone or make designs people havent made before, or maybe even a survival world at your own pace! Thank you for continuing to make content and I wish you the best!
There are a lot of good suggestions in the comments already, and one thing I'd really love to see from you are some different building styles - your fantasy stuff is really great, and I'd kill to see how you'd tackle a more Sci-Fi styled structure! As grand as the large builds, landscapes and epic structures are, "smaller" builds like this village (which is still huge by most peoples' standards lol) are so much more detailed that I actually prefer them. Make the content *you* want to make! Keep experimenting, keep creating, and I know for certain I'll keep watching :)
It's really refreshing to see a more chill, slower paced, video, I probably like this editing style more than the super fast style of the big projects.
I'm honestly so fed up with Minecraft content, it's really refreshing to see this type of simple and genuine content again on the platform. This video is great! I hope you make more like it.
There are so many things I would love to see you expand on. Like a survival series where you’re still building but you have added struggles and the videos are smaller. Tutorials of building! There’s always a lack of actual explaining tutorials like why you do this. Other games! Do you build in other games? Do you have the same skills?
I would love if you could make an update video about your Minecraft server, just chilling with the community and show some of the new builds and projects or just a vid promoting the server by showing how nice the community is 😊. I’m playing in your server for a few months now and I feel that a vid would boost the server😊
Great job!!! I love all your builds so much and im glad to see you working on something you find enjoyable! It looks amazing and I loved watching you make it ❤
i never noticed it until now but when the minecraft character was talking to us if felt "awkward somehow", i really like seeing a real person on the other side of the screen! :D
I actually enjoy these smaller scaled builds alot more because the attention to detail and the coziness really comes through. Its also way more inspiring because im way closer to building this instead of a megaproject
I really love the idea of shorter and more simple videos; I think a lot of people like myself watch your videos for inspiration and ideas for small projects and love seeing small but beautiful villages and other creations. I'd even love to see some more tutorials or build inspiration videos as well as bringing back your build battle videos
Please keep it up, that village is beautiful. You can do more content like that. That brings you kinda back to earth, building stuff we can actually aspire to build by our selfs and use as inspiration.
I honestly like your smaller builds much more. When you build something smaller it inspires me to try and replicate your builds. I do love your large projects, but I always preferred your smaller ones where there is much more attention to detail. You are very talented and I will watch anything you put out ^ ^
I absolutely agree with your thoughts... It was really fun and relaxing hearing your opinions while watching you build-as always- amazing projects. I really think that returning to this "old" format will be very beneficial for the channel. Just remember that you are and will always be one of the best minecraft creator on RUclips (and a strong part of minecraft history too!) Looking forward to your next videos!!
After years and years of Minecraft contest across the entire platform, I can easily say you have the upmost talent for design and details. You should 100% do whatever content you want, at your own pace and not burn out or stress over the youtube algorithm. Your videos are always enticing to sit through because your skill is second to none, so just do you and take care of yourself and happiness
Thank you Jeracraft for not merely producing the content that sells but the one we need. If this is the direction your channel is taking, I ain't going anywhere.

Its soo relaxing to watch when there are not 1000 jumpcuts and dramatic music.
Please continue your great work.
Best regards,
A true fan of yours since many years!
Anything Jera makes, I like.
Anything Jera posts, I watch.
I followed you for years now. I still have the stick and used to rebuild some of your tutorials on my worlds. I would love to see this kind of content again.
One thing the content needs:
MORE bell noises. 5 bell noises a minute is not enough. I need more.
And I would definitely prefer to see you work at a sustainable pace, so you don't burn yourself out!
personally me, i love a story, worldbuilding, and community-centered videos. it's therapeutic.
I do feel like the "older" channels are going back to their roots and relaxing some more. I'm glad they are I enjoy chill content much more
Jeracraft, thanks for being so much more honest.
So awesome to see back! Awesome Video!
He released it only 1min ago... How do u know ??
@@james.nguyentk2 i guess i foreshadowed it
What's the name of the background music ?
I would love to see an abandoned modern city with like skyscrapers one day. like nature getting back a big city, thought that might be a cool idea :D
You should try and build one! You might surprise yourself at how it might turn out! :)
Thanks for your time and the content u create. Your builds are so inspirational!
Jera large or small builds I am okay with either I just need you to upload anything 🎉🎉
really refreshing hearing someone speak abt the current content creation landscape while still doing something they enjoy! been watching your stuff for a long time, hoping there's some kind of shift in the kinds of content people are willing to watch! please keep at it :]
As a fellow builder, the whole "getting carried away" thing always happens to me as well. It's stupid, because you end up just completely overreaching yourself, for not a lot of benefit. However, looking at it once you're finish is great though.
About the screaming 100 intro type,
The reason why I love Jera’s video’s, is because of the relaxing vibe, little shots of the enviourement with peacefull music.
7:14 Yeah, more tutorials would be great :))
Bro please keep this minimalistic and peaceful content up and running. I definitely am a fan of those little details! Thanks for the effort Jera!! Peace and stay Hydrated!!!!!
I wish it didn’t take so long for your videos, but I guess it does mean you put a lot of effort into them
I like the simplistic theme actually
lol 6:53 nice shot champ
i want a tutorial of this structure's or build or whatever you call that😅😊❤
I actually love this little build
I would love to see more of these!
ok but is no one going to mention the villager hung upside down at 0:34?
whenever i play minecraft, i usually dont get very far into the game and get caught up in town builds like this, so this video is perfect for me.
Gotta say how much I love this small build, honestly more than the massive builds. It seems so much more doable, and inspiring for my own world.
Hello @Jeracraft
I've started watching your videos a few years ago and was especially fascinated by the project "Kingdoms of Greymane".
Actually hyped to see a smaller build like this one! These houses are actually doable in survival with friends and really inspiring 🙏
Honestly this might be my favorite video you’ve done so far, immaculate vibes, felt cozy all the way thru the video
Finally somebody speaking facts. I'll watch every build video you do, even in 10 minute episodes. No need to burn yourself out, Jera
I’ve forgotten how much I missed watching these upgrading vanilla Minecraft structures type esq videos!
honestly if you find a creator you like, you'll enjoy most of the things they do as long as they enjoy making it, it just radiates out
I think having a series on a smaller project might be cool! Like smaller higher details, a town like the one in this video but over the span of 3-5 episodes with more storytelling- as it’s your storytelling in builds that I’m here for!
I love these smaller scale videos. Do what you want and don’t worry about feeding the algorhythm
I love your version of a “chill build” 😂 would love to see some more lowkey builds. Been here since the World Painter days
I love smaller builds like this. It can have many details, but not feel overwhelming. Please keep this going!
This is the type of content I have been looking for. A nice chill and creative build of a village that isn’t a mega build. This turned out beautiful
Just remember that you are and will always be one of the best minecraft creator on RUclips (and a strong part of minecraft history too!)
Looking forward to your next videos!!
