Great production Reggie. I always wanted one as a kid. I was lucky one of my good buddies would allow me to play his whenever I went over. Amazing collection just awesome dude.
I've always wanted these tabletops as a kid!! The Tomy tabletops are amazing. I still love pinball games. The Pinball Arcade app is great in a pinch but man, nothing can replace the real deal! The BlackKnight 2000 table really awakened my love for pinball back in 1989! Great video, Reggie!!
Reggie, I sent Jeffz my find on these. Cut a 20" bike innertube across the diameter into strips like a rubber band. Fit them over the flippers. It doesn't cause any binding in movement but great contact with the ball instead of sliding off the plastic.
Now I gotta say this Reggie: the reason I stumbled upon this particular video is because I looked into another one called Robotime 3D Pinball. After watching yours I am now aware of the fondness, if not then more love, to your tabletop pinball collection. If you're into building or assembling a tabletop version then try the one I stated the name already. Oh, and thanks for your awesome gaming contents. Carry on soldier. 😉
I have a Star Wars Eps 7 pinball that's the same size as the Star Galaxy one you had, super fun. Loved my tabletop ones as a kid, between those and my game gear must have been hell on my parents with buying batteries lol
Thank you for sharing this. Your presentation is great and made me happy while looking for a table top for my little girl this Christmas. I can see that the pop style games are the only ones worth my money. Keeping the ball in play is what pinball is all about. Take care during the strange days of operation covid-19.
In the mail, I just received the "Arcade Pinball" by Ambassador Holdings company. It cost around 30 dollars shipped brand new, and for that low cost even features the pop bumpers. The game looks absolutely beautiful, but I haven't tried it yet because of time constraints. To think I was going to buy something that looked cool and was cheap but didn't have pop bumpers. I bought it only because of your showing us that the spring system is not going to keep the ball in play.
I find it fascinating how many were reskins. I had no idea. Though if anything, that makes the baseball one even more amusing. Because it keeps the lower playfield aesthetic of the spinning red lights, but has also dropped the physical spinning disk all the prior versions had to implement them.
Always loved pinball in arcades and on consoles and pc I play lots of pinball fx anyway my folks used to get us the tabletops for Xmas and you can score them cheap on Craigslist
you probably dont give a shit but if you guys are bored like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my brother during the lockdown :)
Gotta love those old Tomy electric toys! Sound like a plane taking off! I used to have a Real Ghostbusters tabletop pinball machine. It was awful but I loved it.
Wow Reggie, I love your collection! I have my own collection of tabletop and 3/4 pinball machines, and the Star Galaxy is the pride of my games room. I live in Australia, and was following the Zizzle pinball news when they came out (only in America), so when the Star Galaxy came out here I got so excited... but I was going through tough times and missed my chance to get one! Years later I found one brand new on Amazon UK, which cost about three times more than I could have originally paid, but I grabbed it, so now I have it forever!
Cammy oh man I use to have the star galaxy pinball myself. They sold them at toys r us doing the holiday season here. I need to get another one someday.
It's nice to see somebody nerd out about pinball I would advise you also try the funrise 23-in pinball machines they can get a little pricey at times depending on the skew but they are very solid you can play them on the table almost with the same finesse of a big machine
Ah, tabletop pinball! I used to have a few of these - mostly licensed ones. I remember a Batman and a Spiderman one, specifically. Now that I'm looking at your video, and all those licensed ones are so terrible.... dang, I bet they weren't that good either, lol. But as a kid, heck yeah, these were super awesome :) Every once in awhile, I'll try to look up pinball machines on eBay and it's actually kinda hard to do because so many people are tossing up ancient, like, wooden things (baseball games, oftentimes) and things that aren't even pinball - they're pachinko :/ I'd love to find some more. The last one I saw in a toy store _was_ a stand-up model though, so I know there are a few out there that are, like, a step-up from tabletop, but not as expensive as a real-deal machine. I'm definitely feeling like trying to hunt down some of the good ones in this video right now, haha (^-^)
I own the same blue Astro Shooter tabletop as yours, but mine has completely different sounds. Mine has the same sounds as your American Pinball and Pirates Treasure. Pirates Treasure was much harder to find as it was only sold through Sharper Image stores.
I had the triple arcade in my room in the late 90s. It had 4 pop bumpers, and two kick out holes. One in the back if you made it up this curve like you see in the other table tops in the vid, and one on the left side. The only crappy part I remember about that pinball was the flippers. They were really sticky and the red handles you’d press were hard to push. Would piss me off as a kid lol.
I had a machine back when I was a kid that I wish I could find again. I got it in the late 70's and it had short metal legs so that you could place it on the floor and sit in front of it to play about stomach height. I remember it being a bit larger than most of the tabletops. I only had it for a couple of days before someone sat on it and broke it to pieces, so I don't remember a lot of details about it. Has anyone seen any machines like that?
Actually found it online, in case anyone was interested. It was Durham Industries "Star Mission". The legs were plastic instead of metal, I just didn't remember correctly.
You inspired me to finally get one a couple of years ago. I have the Atomic and the very odd release, Starcom. The Starcom came from a Tomy toy executive's estate sale. Plays just like Atomic.
That's awesome dude...I always liked pinball machines. One day I'll own a couple along with a Ms Pac-Man machine. Also, it's really cool that you're showing another hobby of yours.
Atomic pinball is probably the best well known one in the uk. I. Would love that coca cola one though. I did come across a larger size toy story pinball a few years back that was large enough to come with its own legs. Shop only wanted 15 pounds for it as a sold was seen sale. I regretted not getting it at that price. It would be ideal for. My kids room. And then daddy could sneak in and play as well lol
You might want to check out Pokemon tabletop pinball. It's a combination of a physical tabletop pinball machine mixed with electronic. The "ball" is actually an LED light. The table is just a grid of red LED lights, but through persistence of vision, it looks like you have a red ball moving around. It has physical flippers and a physical launcher. You can even balance the virtual ball on the physical flipper for shots.
YOU CAN GIVE THE PINBALL ALOT MORE KICK TO THE BUMPERS ON THOSE CERTAIN PINBALL MACHINES YOU SHOWN JUST BY OPENING IT AND ADJUSTING THE BUMPERS AND MAKING IT VERY SENSITIVE TO THE BALL TOUCHING THE BUMPERS SO IT KICKS WHEN THE BALL TOUCHES WITH EVEN THE SLIGHTEST TOUCH MY SON
Great video. The european version of Astro Shooter has a different skin that has a really cool picture of a space shuttle, with the eight circles creating the shuttles blasters. Of the skins, I like the european version and the American Diner skin you have shown. My least favourite skins are the baseball and pirate.
Nice Collection Reggie. What is your advice on the 1979 Avon Juke Jubilee Table Top Pin Ball. I'm thinking of buying one. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanx.
Update this collection. New video please I'm collecting these kind of table top pinball games too. Mostly what I find at goodwill. I have 6 or 7 each are unique in thier own way. Today i got a space scooby doo one gotta fix it up to get it up and running but it looks real good
Hey, have you ever done mods to any of your tables to make them better? I’m currently modding a lots Batman table and I’ll share it with you when it’s complete
I had the Astro Shooter as a kid and just seeing your reaction to hitting the special bought back nostalgic memories!
Fun video. :) I just found my old Sonic pinball toy from the 90's, made by TOMY. Still runs just fine but it's so loud, lol.
yeah some of those old school pinball machines have become very collectable over the years
I had a couple of these as a kid in the early 90's... but never saw anything like Atomic Shooter. That was legitimately impressive. Tomy did big work.
Thank you for sharing your collection man!!. Some cool ones there!.
Great production Reggie. I always wanted one as a kid. I was lucky one of my good buddies would allow me to play his whenever I went over. Amazing collection just awesome dude.
Great collection!!
A company recently just released a tabletop thats just like the Astro Shooter (And theres a Pac-man themed variant.
@@pacsonic9000 yep. I’m reviewing next week.
Awesome collection, I had the atomic pinball as a kid, reactive bumpers make all the difference to make it feel like a real machine!
Nice.
I just bought my first mini pinball machine, so awesome ! 😅
I love both type of pinball machines and I'm 14 most kids dont like old machines like that but there really fun.
Really Cool Man
I fell in love with pinball when i had to go to the laundry mat with my grandma!
I had the SMB growing up. Loved it.
Great collection man, these are really cool, surprise lol!
Really neat video - its incredible to see the difference in the overall experience with the higher quality ones.
I've always wanted these tabletops as a kid!! The Tomy tabletops are amazing. I still love pinball games. The Pinball Arcade app is great in a pinch but man, nothing can replace the real deal! The BlackKnight 2000 table really awakened my love for pinball back in 1989!
Great video, Reggie!!
you have an awesome collection! Thanks so much for sharing with us all!
You bet!
Cool video. Nice and informative. I love seeing collections of cool stuff like this that I'd never thought about collecting.
I totally agree with you on that. Pinball Machines are expensive man. I would love a table top pinball like that one day.
Reggie, I sent Jeffz my find on these. Cut a 20" bike innertube across the diameter into strips like a rubber band. Fit them over the flippers. It doesn't cause any binding in movement but great contact with the ball instead of sliding off the plastic.
You've been talking about this for a while glad to see a video on it.
#Awsome
What a great video. Sincere thanks. I love pinball and have been looking for a superior tabletop one. Keep bumpin the ball...
Had the atomic pinball as a kid. Forgot what it was until I watched this video and saw it, and all those nostalgic memories slapped me in the face lol
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.

Brilliant video

Nice video! I like your passion and simple down to earth presentation

@Maximilian Kaysen yup, been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself :D
Gotta love those old Tomy electric toys! Sound like a plane taking off!
I used to have a Real Ghostbusters tabletop pinball machine. It was awful but I loved it.
I once had a little orange LCD pinball. It was handheld.
Wow Reggie, I love your collection! I have my own collection of tabletop and 3/4 pinball machines, and the Star Galaxy is the pride of my games room. Amazing video, I appreciate your work
OMG , i loved these when i was a kid but could never afford one. thx Reggie
Really great video Reggie!
I think I used to have astro shooter from back in the late 80s or early 90s. Good times.
Love this. Thank you.
Not surprise! Reggie makes great videos!!
I love pin ball. I used to love going to the arcade with my dad.
Those look awesome. I wouldn't mind getting a couple.
A great video, as always with Reggie! :D
YESSSSS!!!! I thought I was the only person who was into tabletop pinball!!!
My cousin got the runner up Tomy and it was a blast. Ah the memories. Nice review man.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow! Nice Mr Reggie.

Good collection.
I remember had one, similar to the "ATOMIC PINBALL"
I got a lot of pinball console games, Love playing Necronomicon and Devil's Crush and Sonic Spinball
I had the triple arcade in my room in the late 90s. It had 4 pop bumpers, and two kick out holes. One in the back if you made it up this curve like you see in the other table tops in the vid, and one on the left side.

Wow amazing collection mate. Huge pinball fan these look fantastic! :)
I had the Ninja turtles tabletop pinball back in the early 90s it was pretty awesome I played alot
Cool mate.

Hell yeah, tabletop pinball is actually usually more fun than the shovelware mini arcade machines... by a wide margin
Thanks for sharing, interesting hobby
There might be a market for a good-quality table pinball, ones with ball capture and active bumpers..Terry
You inspired me to finally get one a couple of years ago. I have the Atomic and the very odd release, Starcom. The Starcom came from a Tomy toy executive's estate sale. Plays just like Atomic.

awesome collection , i watn you to stay awesome
very cool - I had only ever seen the crap tabletop ones and didn't realize the higher quality ones like the TOMY stuff existed
You might want to check out Pokemon tabletop pinball. It's a combination of a physical tabletop pinball machine mixed with electronic. The "ball" is actually an LED light. Yeah its in one of my very first pick ups videos I did a few years back when I first started the channel. I've sold it since though
OK.. That's a nice collection of PB you got there.
I found one in the garbage at a construction site and it still works lmao
...those games should be customized...tell them what you want or just build your own.
Excellent review.
Surprised you don’t have the Super sonic Spinball pinball tabletop, but Tomy was really building the quality back then!
Very cool.
Great video.
The european version of Astro Shooter has a different skin that has a really cool picture of a space shuttle, with the eight circles creating the shuttles blasters.
Of the skins, I like the european version and the American Diner skin you have shown. My least favourite skins are the baseball and pirate.
Nice! i want a Gundam Wing Table Top pinball !
Great video
Nice Collection Reggie. What is your advice on the 1979 Avon Juke Jubilee Table Top Pin Ball. I'm thinking of buying one. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanx.
I want one of those.
Damn bruh had the whole set! Now, if you have the TOMY turbo driving game then you are able fend.
Some swesome machines! Trying to find

Hello. Good evening. Thank.you for sharing. Do they sells them in Walmart?
Update this collection. New video please I'm collecting these kind of table top pinball games too. Mostly what I find at goodwill. I have 6 or 7 each are unique in thier own way. Today i got a space scooby doo one gotta fix it up to get it up and running but it looks real good
again a awesome vid !
Had Grand Prix when I was a kid.
my uncle had that first one and its what got me into pinball
astro shooter!
Are there any new ones that you would recommend? My son wants one but I've had a hard time finding a good one!
Hi, if I want to buy a new Tabletop Pinball similar to Astro Shooter in size with a similar function or better, any suggestions?
love some of the old tomy ones, wish some of the new pinball "toys" had the same kind of basic mechanics and not just fake pop bumpers.
What is a good price to pay for Astro Shooter Pinball or what do you think it is worth? Nice video!
I have Astro shooter, and Atomic pinball, I recently bought Juke Jubilee and a Disney one, I even buy the small electronic ones
*Update, just bought airpinball for Radioshack, has amazing anime artwork
Jason Artiga do u want to sale one?
Are u in the u.s.a?
@@jamalsingh313 yea
Thanks for the insight into your cool hobby. American Pinball and all the TOMY ones look pretty rad.
What's the house rule on bumping?
No idea
The ping! Ting! Bing! YEAH!
You sold me 👍
Yo Reg, hey have you ever played ray tracers on ps1? I love that game
Radical Reggie, make sure you check out the American Girl pinball machine that you can get right now. It's pretty legit, but pricey.
Link?
Hey, have you ever done mods to any of your tables to make them better? I’m currently modding a lots Batman table and I’ll share it with you when it’s complete
