I got the Center Console Wrap from EV Wraps, and am very happy with it. As they state, they use genuine 3M vinyl, which is the best you can get. The pieces are precision cut. The price is about what you'd expect for quality materials. Installation videos well-made and helpful. I'm very happy with the product, and will be purchasing more of their "wrap" products in the future. Now if they'd just carry xPel (or even 3M) paint protection film for the entire car *at decent prices* that would be perfect.
I purchased the wrap from EV Wraps a few weeks ago. I've been dreading the installation. Is it really going to look that good from an amateur installation? I didn't think so. I figured that the worst case is if it doesn't install well and looks bad, I will just return it. Well, I watched this video completely 2 times and decided to try the installation. I pulled my car outside when it was cloudy but still had great lighting. I must have repeated many sections of the installation video 10 to 20 times. It was super careful and after about 1 hour, I finished the installation. It looks factory installed. The wrap and the video are top-notch. I would totally recommend it. By the way, I purchased the Matrix Black. It's a fairly mute color with a little bit of a pattern. If I accidentally scratch the wrap, it won't show up compared to a solid color.
This was great and super helpful video. It explains everything in a very simple and straight to point way. This is my second time ordering this product because the first time I watched a different video and by following the directions there, I messed the whole thing up. You did incredible job here. Thanks a lot for your efforts of putting the information in this video together.

If you do make a mistake when applying then I found the best remover. The best way to remove the left over glue is wait for a warm day then use pledge furniture polish.
Well I just balled up the center piece. It stuck to itself in the tiniest place, and in order separate it, I had to pull so hard that it stretched it. So now I guess I’m buying a replacement and paying a professional to do it. Awesome.
Good video. Wish I could include a picture on here but they don't show you how to install the thin strip of vinyl at the very top of the top piece. Had to figure that one out myself. Still, bravo.
It's not as easy as the video makes it look. If any part of the sticky happens to flop and hit another sticky part, game over. You'll tear it trying to get it apart. I messed up the middle section for both my M3 and MY. They are sending replacement parts. I hope I do better this time. It loooks better than factory, but it will still scratch with a finger nail if you're not careful. I don't regret the purrchase.
How can i remove it again to change it back? Its Impossible to remove it again after some month Installation. The Glue is hard as a diamond. It feels like i rip it appart if i want to remove it.
As you lift up the panel, the hinge section of the panel will go down and it could result in the vinyl catching debris around the hinge area. Also, the spaces in some of the sections are too narrow and you need to use to squeegee to tuck the vinyl in. Thanks for asking!
Is removing the wrap easily done without damaging the console? Other videos of 3M wrap removal appear to show the wrap requiring a lot of heat to release. Wondering if this would damage the plastic of the console. Has anyone tried removing their console wrap who can share their experience?
Hello! Thank you for your question. To properly remove a wrap, warm up the wrap with a heat gun or hair dryer first or you can wait for a warm/hot day. This will loosen the adhesive and will make the wrap a lot easier to remove. After that, you can start at any corner and peel off the wrap slowly. Peeling it off slowly while it is warm is important because it will result in no adhesive residues. This will not damage the original plastic finish in any way as long as you do not heat one specific area for a long time.
We only use the best automotive grade vinyl in the industry (3M) and it is designed not to leave a residue even after years of application. Therefore, we strongly recommend everyone to buy the best quality vinyl for your Model 3 center console. We've performed many test trials on different vinyl brands and 3M came up on top. The worst are generic non-brand vinyl. In one of our temperature tests, the adhesive actually separated from the vinyl which resulted in a very sticky surface and it was a nightmare to remove. The best and proper way to remove the wrap in the future is to heat it up first with a heat gun or a hair dryer. The heat will loosen the adhesive and make the vinyl more elastic which results in easier removal. After heating up, slowly peel off the wrap at any corner. Make sure to peel it off slowly Lastly, the wrap actually protects the center console from scratching up. Therefore, the center console will look exactly what it looked like right before you install the wrap!

A really horrible shitty product, difficult to install correctly. The middle piece got wrinkled almost as soon as I laid it down. What a waste of money. Owners just need not be careless with their piano black covers and clean it from time to time and it looks beautiful. No plastic or vinyl crap covering needed.

I should specify that I was using the matte black, maybe the carbon fiber texture and appearance provides a little more room for error.
I believe they have a free replacement warranty in case your installation goes bad.

Why are you using the squeege to tuck the sides in when you can just lift the panels up and adhere them with your fingers?

You can use alcohol wipes or lens wipes to remove any persistent oily or fingerprints on the wrap.
