The aluminium tank is an oil catch can by the looks of it. They are often specifically designed for that purpose with baffles and filter mesh inside and they are Not meant for pressure. Using one as a cooling system header tank can be a big mistake as it might rupture or just cause problems. Visiting your local auto recycler and looking under a few hoods should find you a nice looking header tank that is meant for the task.
Not trying to talk crap. I’ll say that first and foremost. But I’ve noticed that when your garage is clean and tidy, it says something good about your health. When your garage is a mess it correlates with your health not being where it should. I’ve noticed the garage isn’t looking so great. Hopefully all is well. I know the bug is going. Ford 🏭 Garrett is water cooled 4 a cool longer life. No mandatory cool down cycle die to Coaking. Stick with the WC Garrett original, at least in Calif temps. Also add oil tem G.
