- I made 10 copies of what I consider to be the strongest pal for fighting Bellanoir in Palworld. This video documents how this army was created, and how strong it really is.

I had lost my pals too. I looked everywhere and they were gone but 2 days later I came back to that spot to try again and the balls were sitting on the ground

@@JasesAce Since you're doing a solo world, I think you might be able to find them by visiting the black marketeers. I also lost some of my pals doing this raid (the regular libero version) and I had to buy them back from the black marketeer.
i lost my frostalian too during bellanoir fight and pal box got destroyed, i got other pals back but not Frostallian, end up 1 of the pal merchant is selling my LV50 frostallian.... and i bought back from him... strange...

you should check black marketeer or pal merchant for your frostallion, usually lost pals will be sold by them

Astegon is by far my favorite Pal in the game! I love to see so many of them flying around, regardless of the result lol. Great stuff, looking forward to the other videos :)

If you can't find the ball that had frostallion in it on the ground, it most likely clipped into the ground or an object somewhere when the box exploded.

9:22 if happened to me one time: for example, if I have only 5 empty spaces in my PalBox, if the Ultra destroys me Palbox, then 15 pals will be "without a home", and they are made into spheres all around the area. I have to first make a PalBox, create 20 spaces, and then run, jump, find those spheres and pick them up one by one

You can also despawn you pal box to prevent having to buy them back, I've done this and it gets costly lol

Finding high IVs is another step in breeding out those big pals.. What I've been doing is putting on the glasses and taking the extra time to get high IV parents and keep swapping and improving them over time with breeding till you can reach 90s, fruit up solid parents to 100s, and then build the army!

Yeah I should’ve gotten the IVs at the start of the project instead of planning to use fruits at the end. I’ll have to use 10x the amount now 😅. Thanks for the feedback and the support!
I did scenting similar. But diffrent. I spammed catching blazemuts, or rather resetting him. I caught 3 with one IV at 100 each and did the same for chikipi. With these two I bred max IV ones for them. And yes, farming passives was a pain. I wanted to breed general usable ones without elemental. It took a while to get rid of flame emperor.
Then came the trait breeding. Trait random mutation don't matter if they are max IV since I can breed them with max IV parents later on again after I just get the traits. Legend couldn't be gotten on a blazemut before the update. Same for chikipi (still cannot). It took 2000 eggs roughly to start with blazemut and chikipi.
Suzaku aqua I had to get legendary first to then have blazemut breed with it to hopefully pass it down with the 3 other passives I wanted for the whole list. I had to breed down legend to a lamball. Past that I could breed every single pal with my 4 passives in less than 200 eggs per other species. I always had it running afl in the background for a long long while.
Serenity from the update made me redo my whole list and I couldn't start with blazemut. But using bkazemut to get a suzaku aqua. Also jormuntide ignis can now be bred with blazehowl plus jormuntide so legend can be added to it.
The update also brought way too many single species breedables that i won't complete. No. I'm not gona redo the blazemut chikipi pain another 6 times.
Breeding now will be easier though in future updates. 4 diffrent yakumos with 4 wanted passives (or in that case 3, legend cannot be spawned in the wild) and at least the passives are getable fairly easy. For the IVs, well, fruits will have to take care of that.
Helpful tips for you so you always have a room on your palbox:
You can condense your pal partially and then you can use it later on the pal you want to use.
Or you can create cages and store your pals there and collect it later if need them.
I always empty my palbox halfway or 3/4 by doing this stuff.. It's so much comfort if you are doing breeding multiple pals.

Some tips to win the ultra:
-Give your pals cheeseburger so they won't get debuff cause of hungry /starving
-For the phase 1, add a backup team to support your astegons, frostallion (normal and noct) and shadowbeak are the good way because they have very good defense and the dark will get a resist too, the ice it's to freeze Bella. This is important to not get focus by her and you deal dmg because your are the one who have to the most.
-AR is the best to use on chillet, so you can move easily to avoid dmg and shoot at a long distance.
Hope it would be helpful, from a player who wins the ultra after 8 tries lol (I do it sometimes since with different ways)

I can quickly give breeding an explanation with the values.
With 4 passives and no unwanted passives shared between both parents (duplicates doesn't increase chance) there isa 10% chance to obtain all 4 passives. Having a 5th passive increases pool size by 25% meaning you reduce the 10% chance to get the 4 passives by 25%... giving you only 7.5% to get the 4 u actually want.
IVs have a 30% chance to inherit from each parent with 40% random. If both parents are perfect IV you have 60% per IV, to hit the 60% 3 times in a row the probability is 21.6%.
Egg moves have a 50% chance to inherit 1 non signature move of ALL KNOWN (not just active) moves. Meaning the pal being lv1 with its starter move plus egg move and as long so theres no 3rd move there is a 25% chance to breed down the egg move. It's annoying the lv1 move is also treated as being bred down even if u start with it so no 50% chance here.
With these values we can actually work out in terms of importance not having a unwanted passive is SO IMPORTANT that zero perfect IVs but no useless passive is more important than a useless passive and perfect IV's Becauseof how much lower 7.5% is than 21.6% to pass Ivs. With this you can see IVs is more important than the egg move but personally the main reason is you can just wait to get the perfect breeding pal "without" an egg move then skill fruit it to give 25% of ur future pals that move. Planning to do this once i get a perfect Bellanoir, feed it Blizzard Spike so i can pickup Blizzard Spike multiple times for 1 fruit.
Nice attempt man, thats alot of time invested. Rip Frostallion.. that sucks big time. I can easily wipe the regular raid in under a mintue and half... Still nervouse about taking on bellanoir libro... But i think i can pull it of. Had to get me a series x, cuz my one x wouldnt even let me battle her right, she would glitch or my pals wouldnt attack. Might try it this week after some more pal tuning haha

if your froststallion is in a sphere somewhere on the map (like many may have suggested maybe clipped through the ground since you did the fight in the glitch desert) if it's in a sphere somewhere, check the black marketeers you might get lucky and be able to buy it back from them for probably silly amount of gold do to its passives but it might be there since they sell pals you "caught" if say your box is full and they drop on the ground in sphere form

Check black marketeer, I lost a bunch of astegons in my first libero fight, later came to find out that the black marketeer was selling them, expensive to buy them back, but he might have your frostallion

You can load an older save from the world menu to get back to before fighting bellanoir, so you can get your frostalion back

Last patch put in auto backups. Go back to before the fight and save your Frosty. Not glitching, just loading from before a glitch got you.

Hi Jase, love the channel. Man I hear ya about breeding and leveling up your pals. I’m on my 4th day going through a similar process you did. I’m going after Bellanoir Libero (Ultra). I failed the first time because I timed out with 30,000 hp to go.

I feel ur pain in the Astegons.. I actually went for the full 20.. as well as butchering 690 frostallion nocts for the souls. My astegons however weren't towards a single element. Luscle, legend, Fero and Burly body... but there's a good reason for this. Bellanoir is the strongest dark pal now so it's getting my dark passive and jet dragon is the strongest dragon pal... so astegons uniqueness to me was the quad dark resist which i wanted for bellanoir raid.... before realizing there was ice moves but i was too lazy to stop. I also made sure to breed down dark cannon to all my astegons from bellanoir.
The moveset i went with was actually Dark Cannon, Dark Lasor and Dragon meteor for the battle. This was because I learnt the phase change actually changes her to pure ice type... and i went from taking 1/4 dmg to taking double dmg. Slowly wittled down dark version then my resisted dark moves went back to full power for the ice phase. I was still able to kill the raid in just over 3min with this setup which is amazing considering how much dmg i lost from my moveset.
This was very insightful, I did consider going tank. I think dragon moves are still better because dark gets resisted by the boss and dragon is super effective against it. Other than that I agree with what you’re saying here. Thanks for the feedback!

When you lose pals go to a black marketeer. They will sell the pal back to you.

Just got done 36 Jetragons, fully condensed, fully enhanced as well. Same for 18 Jormuntide Ignas & 18 Blazamuts. All ferocious / muscle head/ legend / Divine Dragon and Flame Emperor. IVS 100/100/100. I feel your pain on the grind.

Yeah I really need to get those before I do the jetragons. I was under the impression that IVs were a 5-10% difference and weren’t worth the time but that has clearly been disproven from these comments, I also planned to just use fruits to fix those after the fact, but making the parents perfect IVs is definitely a better method. Apart from ice attacks to freeze bellanoir ultra you can also use seed mine or other ivy/binding grass moves to help slow it down.
Does the slow impact anything? I feel like Bellanoir teleports so much that it wouldn’t help much. Could be wrong of course just curious. Thanks for the feedback’
I find if you stay in the vicinity, she tends to teleport less if you do run, she'll teleport for your palbix and zap it into oblivion. She can float pretty fast so the binding not only slows but adds grass typing temporarily and ice/ fire can affect her.

This is exactly why the moment I hit 50, I turn my incubation time to 0 and my exp rate to 20. I'm not waiting over an hour just for a huge egg to hatch and I'm certainly not grinding for a few hours more each time I wanna level a pal to max. If you're on a single player world, there is no reason not to do this unless you just want to punish yourself.
Also, a easy way to level up pals really fast is the new training manuals. The legendary ones drop pretty frequently from level 45 dungeon boss chests, and at exp rate x20, it levels a pal from 1 to 48 instantly. Then I usually also fight tower bosses or use a some other lower grade manuals to get them to max. I'm sure the same would apply on lower exp rates, just... slower... Side note: Grinding level 45 dungeons is very OP now.

Yeah I’m strongly considering the egg thing. It’s similar to the xp where it isn’t fun for either party. The process will probably take similar time anyway but this would definitely help prevent burnout. Also yeah manuals are similar to just crushing Marcus from my testing, I did Marcus because my dungeons are always on cooldown. Thanks for the continued feedback and support!
For the frostallion if you have a pal merchant I noticed they’ll pick up and sell you pals that you had. I lost 2 jormontides and he had them

I know your pain because I instead I farmed astegon and kept going back and capturing jet dragon Including a army of shadow beak I farmed dragon meatier skill till I got enough of them and farmed a bunch of ozerk they all died and I did the same it’s frustrating especially because Xbox dungeons don’t work so I had to do boss fights in caves every day I just gave up it was too much so I respect your grind
Yeah it’s definitely a grind and the reward for beating it isn’t worth it at all. Thanks for sharing your experience, hopefully they fix that dungeon issue on Xbox as they continue to make dungeon farming more and more OP
Is anyone else having issues with the chest respawning. I have ran multiple dungeons in the snow mountain area and no chests at the end. I let a few game days go by and tried going back and still nothing. I had been able to run them all at least once a day previously.
I haven't seen this issue, I'd try asking in the Palworld discord server or Pocket Pair discord server to see if they know a fix. Hope you enjoyed!
If you lost your pals during the raid, it might have been transferred to the black marketeer shop, try to check there, happened to me and I found all my lost pals there, quite expensive to buy them back though.

I saw some of your Astegons have attack of 1390 or so... maybe you need to use pal souls to boost their attack and feed them cheeseburger or loco moco... some of my Jetragon and Astegon have attack close to 2400 so they can nearly do twice the job as a 1390 one... also, if you increase the HP and Defense, I think it is like having 1.6 or 1.8 Astegon from 1, because it just last longer. So one powerful Astegon now becomes 1.8 Astegons
Yeah I will be fully souls buffing and condensing the other 5 before the final fight to give them a fair shot. These comments have definitely helped me figure out how to optimize a build to its fullest potential. Thanks for the feedback!
LOL with the new changes you can just use 3 or 4 XL books to level a dude from 1 to 55. Those xp books drop everywhere at the end. I think i have like 30 in my inventory.
If u loose ur pals u can go into ur files and go back to when u had it last and reset to that that point
Find a black marketeer and buy out the second row until you find your frostallion.
Or do the pet mount glitch (somewhere) to look under the surface, maybe the ball is there.

Check for an x mark around the base area, you should find the frostalian there, or restore a server backuo from before the fight to get her back .. we shouldn't lose pals in such way 😬

I think you're going to have to use the ring to make sure your fighting pals have very high IVs. I already have an army of Blazamuts with 96, 98, 100 IVs I plan to use in the 2nd phase, now I'm working on an army of Jetragons for the first phase. Still trying to get the breeding pairs set up for good IVs but I'm making good progress. It's going to take weeks to get all of them to 4 stars and then also farm the Anubis' for pal souls and beef them all up. That'll be 80 pals in total maxed out with pal souls and very high IVs and I'm honestly still not confident it'll be enough to kill her. Ultra Bella is very very tough. My plan, that may fail, is to have 40 pals for each of the 2 phases, 40 Jetragons for phase 1 and 36 Blazmuts with 4 Lyleens for phase 2, so I can swap out the ones that get incapacitated as they fall. I figure I'll have to stay close to the pal box to switch them out as needed. I'm really hoping this will be enough.

If you lose a Pal, normaly it can usually be bought back from a Pal Vendor/Black Marketeer.

Bro those were not condensed. Those have the spirit boost yes. Condensed is putting all 116 astegons into 1 astegon to greatly boost its stats and that’s far more important than the souls. Those are just the icing on top
Already tried that one that fail big time though they are so tanky!
Yeah they just don’t output enough damage or live long enough by themselves, more builds are in the works to finally take this thing down though!

I haven't beat Bellanoir Libro in normal attack rate, I do want to beat it without cheating and bugging too. Also my first army choice was Astergon but I went to a big game forum to discuss first. The conclusion is Astergon is not power enough. Necromus, Froststallion Noct and Bellanoir Libro (if you can breed and build) are the pals that can beat Bellanoir Libro without useing guns.
Got to say, Asian players are the best players who always know the best way to conquer bosses

I made Astegon with the skills, Ferocious, Musclehead, Legend, and Lord of the Underworld
Interesting, I went with divine dragon because of the type advantage. How did this strategy go for you?
@@JasesAce it’s good strategy but I did it differently, instead I used many Jetragons with Burly body, musclehead, legend and divine dragon.
I play solo and I can body libero ultra with 15 legendary rockets, over 1k assault rifle ammo, around 130 legendary shotgun shells, two lvl 3 def pendants, only skill points used were for 4950 work speed and 650 in weight, no food buffs, and no pals actively out. Although this sounds fun too 😅
You beat the boss in 10 minutes with no attack buffs stat wise or pendant wise without any pals?

Jetragons are the way to go, I got a swift/runner with 100/100/100 IV. Through breeding 100's of Jetragons. I might have to breed for ferocious and musclehead..
what do you mean with "perfect" - that only means 4 perfect attack passives or 4 star and full pal soul buff also?

Kill him then fly over to Desecrated Desert Fly back to Eastern Wild Island kill him over & over in 10mins I can get 1 MILLION Gold since he drops between 35 & 40K each time

I no longer have chickens or cows Just BEE's for the Honey
I also no longer Make Bullets since I can buy them easier than crafting them

10 4 star Astegons, you need at least 1170.
Why you used astagons instead other pals?
I used Astegons because they quad resist the boss, I will be trying other pals to find the definitive best one in future videos. I also plan on optimizing future builds more so I started with a less likely candidate to learn the process and get feedback on the work I did before going all in. Hope you enjoyed!
How about training manual?
I did farm dungeons for them on off time but the Marcus and faleris was faster
Yeah you definitely need all 15 pals to have 4 stars and 30 pal soul upgrades. Necromus is in my opinion better than Anubis for large pal souls because he drops pal metal ingots too

Wouldn't Lord of the Underworld be better since all his skills are dark skills? I dont think he has any dragon skills.
for an Astegon focusing on dark yes, ..But for this raid, the Bellanoir is Dark, so the Astegons need to go all in on dragon damage (dark is weak to dragon) and Lord of the Underworld boosts dark attacks

Im watching this video sitting at around 4,500 cakes in my fridge casually making about 200 additionals every 10-15 minutes while having bread over 2400 Jetragons and 2800 Frostallions already.
All u need it a good base setup. On mine, all my working pals are 4 Star +10 with perfect working passives. Once ur the goat, u stay the goat 😂
Yeah I definitely need to invest in some more efficient strategies. Don’t really have time for all 4 star workers but maybe I should focus on getting a few relevant ones to speed up the breeding process. Hope you enjoyed!
Capture merchants and get rid of all pals and farms. Make 4 mills to produce flour, the only thing you can't buy. Other than buying wheat from the same red merchant in in fisherman's point. Make your base work speed hella high so as to cook up cake flash mode

Once Im done hatching my pals already made around 400-500 legendary spheres for me to sell while only buying milk and eggs from the merchant 🤡
Bro this is so inconvenient why would the the pal box not be immune to attacks from raid bosses
How are we actually supposed to play this game?
The game should immediately put pals in the pal centre from base when it's about to break
so two things:
1) why Astegon? Jets have the stat advantage and aren't any less damaged by Ice.
2) Don't bother farming cake with Chix/Mozz their drop rate is terrible. Use Lyleen and farm either baked berries or salad then sell to the vendor for milk and eggs as its significantly (something like 6x) faster.
There is a less known interaction in Palworld called Vine Tech: if any target it wrapped in vines (like from seed bomb) it takes damage as if it were weak to fire. given that the last phase changes over to ice having a suite of Blaze + a Ragna with seed bomb should push you over the edge.
Thanks for the questions! I chose Astegons for two reasons. One is that they quad resist the bosses dark attacks, and the second is I wanted to do jetragons and blazamuts after I posted a video doing a project like this because the communities feedback is incredibly useful and these things are time consuming so I wanted to use the Astegons as guinea pigs. Also thanks for that advice, I have heard it from a lot of people over the past two days and will definitely be implementing it as soon as I start working on the next project, thanks so much for the feedback and the support! I’ll look into that tech as well for part 3 of the series, it seems like something I could definitely cover in the video
@@JasesAce Thanks for putting the video together and good luck with the grind. Don't get discouraged once you have everything set up, it will take multiple attempts to get an AI roll that doesn't just spam AOE. Ultra is built to be a group effort so its at the very limit of possible solo.

why waste time when the most simple way to beat this boss is campfire + 1 bullet of any gun
Everyone plays the game differently, I am sure I could also beat the boss in this way if I wanted to
