Miss the Italians skiers, usually we’re more into fast-cut turns, racing style.
Ps. The second swiss skier, totally nailed it! Powerful and fluid!

at 1:47 the Denmark guy on short long turn, at 2:45 japan guy, 2:58 Joshua Duncan New Zealand, 3:31 San Marino Guy, 4:00 Swiss guy , 4:22 the American guy. Interesting the one I found that had the best skill in short turn, turn out to be in my choice for long turn. All these skiers have in comment that, they establish a well balance on there outside ski before they load the ski, they constantly increase edge angle true the arc to shape the turn and at the end they release well the energy of the turn to create a good arc to arc action some of other skiers in the clip are pushing there skis outside and do a blockage to create a rebound instead of create the energy from shaping the arc, that's the difference between the best one and the others in my opinion, when a skier progressively and constantly increase the edge angle the ski start to turn tighter as he progressed true the arc and that create a lot of energy, if he release that edge angle at the right moment there will be a good rebound from arc to arc. In general most of the skier outside my pick as made solid ski run too.

At least Great Britain, Canada and Switzerland know what a long turn is. The rest are doing medium turns.

GB1 gets a pretty good. The Canadian and Swiss long turns are achieved with static low angle turns. I still think US2 is amazing. Very dynamic with a high angle pulse that flings him across the hill for a long turn.

I like the second USA. Great dynamic range, along with the patience in transition. Who is he?

Many lose their outside ski. Radius is more medium even short in some cases. Pole use is affective in long turns.
