Brilliant video Matty and excellent tips.I love nothing more than watching videos on producing wonderkids. It's my favorite thing to do on FM,that and setting up my staff.I will definitely be looking at revisiting this video in the future. Thanks for the video and the tips Matty.
Great video Matt, and really insightful to see how you progress them through the ranks. Following similar stuff in my save but have picked up 1 or 2 new things to add to mine 🙂👍⚽
Loved this. Never thought about the B and C team Pathways I just put people in them when I had too big a first team haha defo look into it now only on season 3 (had to get a new Laptop) so hopefully not too much time lost
@@trequinho yeah I bet. Currently I have 30 people away on loan so once there all back I can sort the Pathways properly. Plus side Serrano and oroz (I signed in my first season) have already turned into a pair of beasts so long may that continue haha
@@trequinho haha yeah doing that now. I wondered why my B team was in the same division as my C team. Turns out I only had a B team manager no wonder it wasn't progressing much haha
What would you do in England for example with no B team option? Agreed that under 23's doesn't quite cut it, find a good club to send out an army of loans?
For me I would have a go at building a very good under 23s as they train with the first team.. anyone who doesn't have potential and is getting in front of one of your superstars I would get rid. Get some young players signed every season under 18s to bolster the quality of your squad
Hey man, quick question. I know this is fm21 and the current version is fm22, but how do you deal with the wage cap for your B team? I just got my B team promoted to the Spanish Second Division, but the wage cap of £5m makes it impossible to field everyone I want on the B team.
Put a youngster on the first team and disponible for und18 is better than just let them hit 19? Making this they wil be training with the first team and first team coachs and facilities?
@@trequinho hey man, sorry to bother you once again. Im doing a save with real sociedad, but i cannot add my B team players to the units and i really need to add one player to it, in your case, does it let you add Bilbao Athletic players to the units?? I can only add players from the U19s and the C team
Maybe because your b team is classed as a separate club mate that's why. Ilthats FM 21 so don't play it no more but I would guess thats what's going on. They will do there own training etc
Thanks for the video man , I have an issue with my save , I can see my U19 staff but I can't see the B team staff and the number of physios etc in, is this normal ? Thank you again
@@trequinho Bayern München ! I find the solution , I need to delegate the training to the staff to be able to see all the members, so I will first recruit my staff and then take control of it. Thank you for the answer man .
@@timeandmoney84 i know that, i always stacked coaches as much as possible and trying to get best one but I've read it somewhere and wanted to make sure
This is soooo helpful!! Thanks!! I'm struggling on my save with my wonderkids and my U19 team.. This video came right on time! ♡
Good luck 🤞

Hey mate glad you enjoyed it just my thoughts on what I have done this year with Bilbao really enjoyed this side of the game this year
thanks! i have been trying to maximize my youth players and it’s been pretty hard so I appreciate it
No problem take ya time it takes time to get it all working
Great vid, really helpful for someone who’s lazy and doesn’t go into nearly as much effort and detail with my youth players 👌🏻
Sometimes you need to do Bilbao to force the save buddy

Very useful video, clear & concise. Thanks
Thank you mate ☺️

Get your staff up scratch this season while you wait for their return buddy

Sometimes really hard to get B team staff in bud I had to do some searching . Wages for them was a huge problem
Top video mate 👍
Thanks buddy ❤️
Thanks for the video, new sub, very helpful🙂

Very nice tips, thanks! I got a question, have you tried this system in fm22? The development of young players seams to be very slow now
There would be no reason why it wouldn't buddy.remember in Bilbao you are forced to use this system
Hey man, quick question. I know this is fm21 and the current version is fm22, but how do you deal with the wage cap for your B team?
I just got my B team promoted to the Spanish Second Division, but the wage cap of £5m makes it impossible to field everyone I want on the B team.
Well I don't think I had a wage cap in there but most of my B team players were executing youngsters so wages won't have been high

Making this they wil be training with the first team and first team coachs and facilities?
Sorry Rei this is hard to understand
Hey man, got a question, when i add my youngster to the units they wont appear in the mentoring to add them, whys that?
Ermmm mentoring they need to part of the first team squad that might be the problem
@@trequinho if i let my assistant choose for some reason he can choose these youngsters so problem fixed 👍
That's a strange one but at least if you got there

Are youth ratings not dynamic this year
There's a bit question mark over that this is also a Fm21 video
Principle is the same mate I would change what I do with my wonderkids
Can you sum up these tips pls?
What ??
I've read somewhere that having too many coaches slows down player development, is that true?
I don't see how that could be the case to be honest.
@@trequinho Apparently coaching sessions are crowded with coaches and players don't get enough attention in training
@@ilijaanastasijevic7507 that would be the opposite then. If you have not enough coaches then there won't be getting enough attention
No dude it's the opposite. You want each coaches work load to be labeled as 'light'. Maximum 'average'
@@timeandmoney84 i know that, i always stacked coaches as much as possible and trying to get best one but I've read it somewhere and wanted to make sure
I want your jersey
Haha my friends at jerfc will sort you out. Buddy
