So, what do you guys think? Is he up there with Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase? Let me know below! Also, I made a second channel for "less edited" content. I wanted to post some videos like doing mock drafts, NFL trivia, or my immediate thoughts on some NFL happenings without clogging up the main channel, which I intend to post scouting breakdowns on. I'll see you guys on both channels ;) www.youtube.com/@TheMoreJumboPackage
Very fair breakdown of his skillset, criticism included. It will be exciting to see how this years WR corps will perform in the NFL. Troy Franklin next?
Glad you thought so - thanks for commenting! I believe I'll be doing Odunze, Nix, & Penix next, but I'm sure Franklin will be shortly after. The time between videos will start becoming much shorter so I can get more prospects in!
Ive heard from a of sources that their main red flag is the shoulder dip and as you say, inability to force his way through a good press. Do you think this is actually something he can work on enough to become wr1 very quickly in a team, and following that, do you think he's a good fit for the chargers given their sudden lack of WR depth. I I'm thinking they will still get a vet in, but unsure who they will go for and how that may affect this potential nabers pick at 5.
Just curious - did you hear that from Sam of PFF? If not, the reason I bring it up is because I listen to their podcast all the time and he mentions it everytime he brings up Nabers lol. (this is not a criticism of their podcast as its one of my favorite). But to actually answer your question - I tend to agree that he does over rely on the shoulder dip to beat press and there were quite a few times that I showed in the video that he was absolutely smacked off the line by a DB. The answer is s a bit nuanced because - NO, I don't think he has the play strength to consistently force his way through press, but YES I do think he will refine his release package enough that it won't become a significant problem. The issue right now is that he doesn't have a very diverse release package, but as he grows as a player he'll become a bit more refined and more consistent at creating space for himself at the line of scrimmage. His threat to win over the top also will scare DBs from pressing him in the first place, so if he is consistently able to make DBs miss with refined releases PLUS the occasional shoulder dip, it'll make the reward portion of the risk-reward analysis of playing press against Nabers that much lower, causing DBs to play off-coverage against him more often. So in total, I don't anticipate it becoming a big problem for him after a little time in the league! I think he's an excellent fit for the chargers - Herbert and Nabers would be a dynamic pairing because of Herbert's ability to hit any throw on the field and Nabers's ability to win in any area of the field.
Great scouting report as always, if you were a wr-needy team picking in the top ten would you pick nabers if mhj was off the board? also are you planning to do a mock draft? i think that’d be really cool
I would definitely pick him in the top 10! There’s a couple spots I think he’d be excellent in, but I think any team will be happy to have in. In terms of a mock draft, I’m thinking of making a second channel for less-produced/edited content like doing a mock draft on the mock draft simulator. I think I’ll put one up there soon and do a couple of them before the draft!
@@TheJumboPackage Thanks for the reply! I absolutely agree, I don’t see him making it past the giants’ pick, he should be a good starting x week 1 provided he gets his play strength up, and happy to hear that, look forward to following the new channel as well!
@@hazelbooth I'd be super interested to see him go to the Giants. I worry a bit about his upside there just because they don't have the QB (atleast in my opinion), but if you get the ball in this guy's hands he's going to be special and his ability to separate can and will make throws easier for QBs, regardless of who throws. and thank you, I appreciate that! I actually just set it up yesterday. It is called "More Jumbo Package." I appreciate you for commenting, watching, and supporting!
Umm Actually his comp is Sterling Sharpe. lol No really watch Packer WR Sterling Sharpe, Shannon’s older brother, Nabers looks like him before his career-ending injury

u should do rb film breakdown
Probably will do next year! I haven’t quite gotten into RB film evals quite yet because there isn’t really a consensus 1st round RB

Idk but i see the shifty-ness of Jamarr Chase with The Route Running of Aiyuk
I could definitely see that! Huge Aiyuk fan btw haha
who would u say is his most accurate comp??
I'd say a combination between Ja'Marr Chase, DJ Moore, and Antonio Brown. In my view, Chase is the most accurate!
@@TheJumboPackage Nice I would have to agree. Dropped a sub bro! Keep doin your thing
@@xojaqx Thanks man, I appreciate that!
He will be OBJ 2.0 for the Giants 🔥
I'd love to see that!
Will be crazy if the bears get williams and nabers
They would win the draft if that happened!
Odunze is WR2
