Thanks for another video Vesper, I am honestly surprised at how fun Juri is to play in 6. The only thing I seem to be having a problem with is her dive kick input. Something with inputs in air make my brain crap out.
Honestly it all comes down to a lot of drilling of the same move. Couldn’t land the Dragon Punch motion for a while till I practiced a whole night. Helps to go into training mode & turn on input history data so you can see what the game reads
God idk how the rest of the community feels, but I love this game. The colors, feel, and personality. I just wish they added special intro and outros for certain match ups cuz I love the lore too Juri & Chun lee bantering would be sick
You need to have at least one fuha stock (which you can see below the health bar, you get those by using qcb k). This enhances the move and lets you link comfortably afterwards, considering the game's generous buffer window for normals it should be fairly simple to find the correct timing with some practice!
Love the video! I'm having a lot of trouble to cancel normal on DR, especially crouching normals. Do you have any tip on that? Is that hard to do, or is just me? Thank you =)
@@deletcleet9771 Struve combos atleast. Once you get the hang of Strive mechanics u can free style cool combos with characters you’re trying. With a few exceptions like you said

Im super new to sf6 and fighting games in general and have no idea what the xx means or how to string together anything after the xx, what am i supposed to do there??
Some feed back, the combos are cool but as someone who is learning the game as is currently a silver juri on classic controls and a platinum juri on modern controls, you fail you mention what these combos should be used for, when someone should use them and also does nothing to help new players understand linking and cancelling moves.
This typically means you are inputting the move following the xx while the previous move was cancellable. You can see when moves can be cancelled in training by toggling Cancel Timing Display on screen display settings in training. how quickly you input the move into the cancellable state matters aswell so you are basically trying to do it as quick as possible
F+HP is "Forward Heavy Punch". PP/KK means to use the EX version of the input. DR means "Drive Rush". XX means you are cancelling into the next move (doing it as quickly as possible after the normal). F+MP is "Forward Medium Punch". HK is "Heavy Kick". And J is just "Jump". Did that help? There's a key in the description.
I saw mago playing juri and he dosen't use OD specials in his combos. He prioritizes drive rush cancels to extend combos instead of OD moves. It seems like it's not worth to use OD moves in combos, with juri at least.
Hi Vesper. Since you're playing with Pad now I thought maybe you can give me some pointers. I'm trying to learn SF6 Juri on pad and I just in general have a hard time to consistently execute ex moves on pad. Trying to hit 2 facebuttons with my thumb is very inconsistent. And Juri even have ex moves that demands specific inputs (LK/MK+HK). Trying to hit a facebutton and R2 trigger at the same time is so difficult for me. Is there a better way to do it on pad? I thought I found the solution with the "Simultaneous Input Assistance" button. I mapped it to L2 and DI to R3 (don't judge me, It seemed intuitive at the time). I thought "Simultaneous Input Assistance" would give me the ex move depending on the strength of the button I pressed. But NO! It alwasy give the heavy version no matter the strength I pressed (I can't believe they didn't think about it). So it didn't really help me with Juris ex moves. And my DI responses became even more trash. So any tips? Quit Juri because my execution is trash? :) Can't wait to see you start tour feet journy.
juri just doesn’t work on pad for most people. She didn’t work on pad in sf4 or 5 either for the same reason it was just people dealt with it or used the custom binds.
I just got back into street fighter one thing I've noticed alot of these combos aren't optimal. ur doing so much in some of these, and the diminishing damage is basically telling you dial it back a bit 😂
