  • The Human Weather series delves into the phenomenon of how changes in the Earth system are progressing from an Anthropocene perspective.
Actress Min-ha Kim, renowned for her role as the heroine in the Apple TV+ original series "Pachinko", hosts this documentary series. She acts as an astronaut living on a space station and connects climate crisis reporters around the world through her live streaming. Min-ha empathizes with scenes depicting the death of river dolphins due to drought in the Amazon, typhoons affecting all of Europe, and fine dust in Seoul.
In particular, Ep1 “Forecasting by Humans” introduces the fundamental principles of meteorology, such as precipitation, temperature, and wind through a weather forecasting system. Ep2 "Earth’s Alerts" episode showcases extreme weather events covered by climate crisis reporters from Brazil, Italy, Thailand, Spain, and Canada, and prompts questions about the future of the Earth. This film presents viewers with unique sequences that combine documentary footage filmed in various regions, such as melting glaciers in the Arctic, and sandstorms in the Gobi Desert, with acting scenes featuring astronauts captured in Volumetric Video and Extended Reality(XR) studios.
