This game started about as bad as it could for Georgia with WVU jumping all over them, but ended up being an entertaining contest with DJ Shockley gaining fire make it competitive. This game stunned me with how WVU just jumped all over Georgia early, I remember watching this game at home like what is happening right now lol.
I love watching these videos back because I was just a kid when I first watched all these Pat white bowl games and prime WVU games in general (born in 2001) so I basically just remember the excitement, the great plays, and being told that WVU won even though the whole country and world thought we would get our ass beat. Now listening back to the commentators it’s crazy that they got so much more excited when the team that was the favorite scored or got a first down (and was still getting destroyed) than when the underdog was doing well. It’s insane and pathetic the amount of hate WVU has always gotten and will probably always get. I will forever argue that WVU is historically one of the top 2 or 3 most underrated schools when looking at both basketball and football.
