I remember turning to this game when I was a kid, right as Kevin Faulk returned that kick off for a TD 😂I don't know why I felt like he was going to before the kick off happened.

I was at this game. Should have been a blowout but Franklin put on probably the worst performance of his college career. In spite of guys being open everywhere he completed something like 17% of his passes in the first half. Did slightly better in the second but should have been benched early on. They put Mauk in for a series and he marched the team down the field like OSU’s defense was made of toilet paper. Absolutely shredded them. He should have been left out there but I guess since it was Franklin’s last college game Pinkel wanted to give him another chance.

You could tell OU was not as talented that year, but still good. Didn't know all the stuff that would follow that would lead to Switzer stepping down. But this game was crazy. I was a sr in high school that year.

I Never Noticed The Quarterback From Nevada Was "Colin Kaepernick" Until November 19, 2012 When He Made His 1st Start For My 49ers!! Should have included the tackle for a loss by Patek, the play right before the hit on Tharp at 9:55. That was the best hit of the game highlight.
