I designed my latest garden several years ago using your recommendations. I am OLD and can’t work quite as hard as I used to. Because of your methods, spacing, etc. my plot is so easy to manage and produces so many veggies...it brings me a feeling of joy that I haven’t experienced in years in the garden. Your hard work gaining and passing on knowledge made the quality of MY life much better! I hope you can take time to feel some of the joy as well. Well done young man.
Looking forward to hear more about your homesteading journey. It would be great to see a book geared toward homestead.
Good for you Richard! You've done a grand job, so much inspiration and information compiled for current and future regenerative people to utilise at their leisure for years and years to come. Have fun in the next chapter of your journey and nurturing your own wellbeing.
Happiness shines out of you Richard. I wish you all the best. Thank you for another fine video.
Excited to see this new chapter of your life Richard! Thanks for everything you've put out. You have been the most impactful person on my decision to start farming and making a change in my life style. Cheers. You're a real gem.
Beautiful. Your leadership and vision continues. Thank you for inspiring me, an engineer, to get back on the land and grow soil.
Wonderful. The journey continues!
Hands down best content on RUclips for us. Loved the old content but looking forward to what ever comes for you in the future.
It warms my heart to see you happy and healthy. I wish you all luck on your healing path and life journey! Take care of your heart, too. Separations are never easy but can make both involved grow
Beautiful. You've done so much on the farm. You have so much planned for your future.
I wish you find the serenity, happiness, and warmth you are looking for. I feel you have everything you wished for but without small sparkling warmth. I wish you all the best. You have been inspiring for me over the last few years. Thank you
Richard, you look great!
Sound like you worked out family stuff and are shifting toward some new chapters as a single man. May the days ahead be full of peace, love and joy for yourself and all those around you. I’ll look at your training and see if I can join that for this upcoming course. Really think it would be of use at this very moment. All the best to you and your family Richard.
Hello Richard, love your videos and book 👍
You have our support! love the work you're doing.
I wish u the best. Transition always has an element of chaos to it. But, u r a brilliant man. It seems the perfect time now to pass ur wisdom and understanding to ur children. In truth, it is their greatest right on u.
Thank you.
Congratulations!
Wow, been watching this channel just during pandemic. Wishing you, your family and your farm all the best
Wonderful Dreams and Plans. Blessings Abound.
Thanks for the inspiration over the years, Richard. Cheers, from SA .
Thank you sir
Glad to see that you are bringing your life back into balance. I thoroughly respect and enjoying all that you have put out. I will watching and hopefully get a few more ' AH HA' moments! Many things that I have watched and listened to have made me see things in a much better light!
God Bless you Richard
You are shining Richard!!
Praying for you Richard🙏❤️
Good luck to you. You have been a great inspiration.
Happy life is everything
Best of luck in 2022 with your kid's
Good plan and sounds like a good life ahead. 👍
You deserve it Richard! You are brilliant at what you do, you have to have time for yourself. Also nothing should get in the way of fishing!! Would love to see you start a fishing channel. Sweden looks like Disney world for a game fisherman.
Good luck with you new life. You seem to have figured it out - not many people do, especially in their thirties-forties. :)
I am also pulling the plug, moving to Montenegro and will enjoy sailing, skiing and enjoying fantastic nature.
I’m excited about the natural swimming pools and chef appearances

Love this, very exciting & happy for you ♡♡♡! Vanessa, a Canadian in Florence Italy!
feeling less lonely when you're actually alone isn't actually that uncommon a feeling. gotta spend some time on yourself, just for yourself. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and and fantastic 2022.
You look fabulous!
That is a beautiful thumbnail
Finally you are adopting the correct mindset :D. Enjoy the fruits of your labour.
Your life is an inspiration. Would love to see your art process if you might share a bit of that on the channel.
Well done Richard. You have made an amazing mark for regenerative farming, and an inspiration to many. Dad life, particularly as a split family unit has its challenges, but as with everything worth a dam, very rewarding. I had thought to stop by the farm on a trip to Sunne but never made it. Some day.
Wishing you every bit of happiness you deserve. Grateful for all you share.🙏
I’ve never been a fan of electric netting… we graze on an alley system, using two main 3 strand side fences. These are moved roughly once per week with a Rappa barrow, which is the “big” job, but daily moves are only a matter of moving two strands and 5 posts within the 21m alleys - a 15 minute “job” to move sheep and set up front fence for tomorrow.
Awesome
You have inspired so many people Richard. Im sad that you are stopping commercial production because you are such a good example. I wonder how many new little farms you helped start. I know that the work you did will go so much further than your farm but it will be a really weird year not seeing your farm full of veggies and chickens. You made me want to farm man. My family would love to work on your land but were here in the US and we could never afford what your land is worth. Gonna miss the farming.
Would love to know more about when you're coming to Ireland! I'd definitely attend that conference 😁
Seems like it's lining up for 2nd half of June 2022. We'll announce it when Cathal and I have details ironed out. I'm super excited; Cathal is amazing, so is Ireland!
A new video . a new life and new possibilities .. Se the future are full of possibilities.
Hola Richard. I see that you have re-uploaded the video, so I re-comment. Your steps are very inspiring for me here in the Mediterranean. I inherited this property and I am in the intersection, deciding between making it a selfsufficient homestead (this is my ambition) or give it a commercial focus (not my main goal, but due to urban pressure and other properties being abbandoned I would love to be an example). For the first goal I am always thinking, how should I organize the property for a whole self sufficient diet, similar to yours? This could be a theme for next videos and/or next books. For a family of four, how many animals, etc. I would love a forager life here. Maybe some small vegetable plot. Dont know, it is a way to follow up. Good luck!
Thank god you’ve consolidated Richard, I’m a single dad with three boys, allotments, camper van conversions, and working full time. This is your time now👍
Experience is the best teacher.
Pick one thing and stick to it
You deserve everything you want in life. I am amazed at how dedicated and consistent you've been with your passion towards regenerative farming. You've literally helped thousands of people get off their feet and take the touch for the future of our food system. You are in my top 5 all-time influences across all subject in life. I really hope you pursue the educational avenues (like online courses and books) to the fullest to pass along your legacy because you will truly have a funeral that everyone will be at and remember. Massive respect and love from Michigan, USA
Deja vu - am I dreaming???? I'm positive I watched this video in the past 24-36 hours!!!! Richard - you are playing mind games 😁😁😁😁
He set that one to Private
hello Richard,
could you tell me more about the diet you are on please,
many thanks.
I'm curious about your ancestrally appropriate diet. Specific question: are you (planning to) consuming any fermented foods?
It's basically the carnivore diet. Lots of info on RUclips.
If there was one world government, I would vote for Richard Perkins for minister of agriculture.
If there was one world government, there would probably be no vote
I’m so interested by the idea of meeting food needs with 20 minutes a day. What does that take in terms of design, systems, produce choice, skills, experience etc ?
You look fantastic so young
♥
Grace and Ragnar as a more present part of daily life will always be evolving. Good luck with the many plans and optimal health as a wild modern man. Fungi, honey, nuts, fish, roots, meats and berries. I’m guessing leather making skills, weaving, paper making, a forge, tool making will also be interesting. Richard’s renaissance in progress.
Maybe your most important video (together with „farming with kids“). Always ask yourself what your working for. Work is often fun to me, but I’d rather live in a tent eating potatoes all day than working my a** off and not spending time with my children. So I congratulate you to your decision - before it’s too late for you to choose.
There's nothing wrong with a basic carnivore diet, I'm on that too, but just buying store bought produce. I've been doing it for 2 years now and lost a lot of excess weight and got rid of joint pains.
I lost a lot of weight too, and then I flatlined. Careful what you wish for.
Seems like an opportune time to ditch facebook. Reclaim the ethical high ground inherent to permaculture.
Am I having a deja vu or is this a re-upload?
Yeah re-upload. Probably roudy comments on diet and so forth and or/swing away from what the video is about. I think it could be very revealing and energizing seeing what natural cornucopia Richard finds. With that all said, 59 degrees North is a challenging climate mentally and physically.
I sustaine my Carnivore diet with rabbits, pigs and Guinea pigs that I raise on my small holding, I'm busy enough. Even watching your videos make me feel anxious, with all that you do.
Guinea pigs have meat? Amazing.

No dairy either?
Looks like your life has been through a crisis. Just remember that no one can promise you tomorrow. I started with pasture raised chickens this year. 70% losses due to predation and heat deaths. Depressing as hell, but that is life. Future of my family needs me to keep trying to be self sufficient for their future security.
You probably have a broad knowledge on beekeeping already... but if you haven't heard of Dr Leo Sharashkin and the natural/traditional beekeeping method that he shares about, maybe check that out.
Very effective method, his you tube clips are a wealth of knowledge 👌🏼
