- From Episode 62 of Critical Role's first Campaign (Uninviting Waters). This was a roller coaster of emotions. I thought I'd splice together a few of the most stressful moments and highlight certain reactions.

Shouts out to Ashley, the real MVP here.
1. Went with Scanlan and made sure he didn't lose the broom.
2. Did NOT forget the broom and brought it home safely to Laura.
3. Got Travis THE FUCK OUTTA THERE at the first sign of danger! 😂

i'm pretty sure that Matt in the end wanted to see how far he could take this but actually realised it may cause private Mayhem because as much as Laura was joking, she also wasn't, and I don't think he wanted to take that up with his conscience.
I am pretty sure that was a semi planned but still spontaneous decision to not reap it of it's magic ability soley to prevent Laura from going mad live on stage :D
Like, he planned to test how far he could take it knowing he might have to drop the act, but then quickly realised he was about to break lose all hells on Travis and felt pity for him.
Definitely, she made Travis sleep on the couch for 2 days because he sent Trinket through a trap room and almost killed him pre-stream so I can only imagine what would have happened if the broom actually got destroyed
Not that I condone abuse in any marriage, or that I'm alluding that this even was 'aBuSe', buuuuuuut... It's kinda hilarious that he's like 3x her size, the manliest man, and he's still scared of his wife when she has those moments. Funny and adorable. She's kinda quirky though but I presume that 95% of the time it's a fun, good thing in their relationship ^^
@S C Travis is the definition of a gentle giant, he's a teddy bear. He's scared of ghosts and horror stories, he's (rightly) terrified of Laura, sometimes I don't think he realises he's big and strong enough he could break most of the group in half by hugging too hard, so he doesn't need to fear anything.
Making him go through a haunted house as a kickstarter stretch goal was hilarious. The Call of Cthulu one-shot also features a lot of him being a scaredy-cat.
Honestly, it's adorable. I find it funny and endearing that he looks hyper-masculine, and yet he's both scared of things like ghosts and Laura, and also able to publically admit it.

Vex is control tower, Scanlan is Maverick, Pike is Goose and Grog is Maverick's ego writing checks his body can't cash.
When travis was unsure if the broom would work, you could almost see him in his head, hastily writing a check for some amount of money to not let Matt destroy his marrige by letting it die.

seeing the newer episodes in campaign 2 and then such scenes from the past. Laura has really become more and more mellow after she became a mother. Now she even doesnt get upset anymore when they make death jokes about her weasel xD
I don't think they're anywhere near as attached to Weasel as Trinket. They never forgot about Trinket and Trinket did stuff. Poor Sprinkle is just being dragged around and waiting to be put out of his misery.
She also used to metagame a bit and that's died down. I think post-he who shall not be named and also as the crew played more they got more comfortable with each other and played the game without controlling how each other like to play.
I think the small exchange with Travis and Taliesin wasn't in character

I love Laura but I hate her obsession over that broom, especially since she stole it.
If it's any consolation, I'm pretty sure she lost it. We last see it in the Search for Bob where she's forced to jump off of it due to the high winds in Pandemonium but makes no mention of bringing it down with her nor recovering it. She doesn't use it again for the rest of that session nor at all in Dalen's Closet which takes place afterwards. Pretty sure it was lost in Pandemonium.
