    Id like to say this is a little unfair. I prefer not taking a shot over 500yards considering there is a lot of different factors that could easily make you have a bad shot and wounding an animal. My own opinion, giant or not, take the time to get a little closer, but clearly you guys practice long distance shooting. Not hating but getting into their own bedroom makes a hunt that much more exciting!!!! Awesome video guys 😄😁

    Well its not like hes using a fucking 22 LR to shoot this brute. Why have a high power rifle and not actually use it? P.s. i shot my deer in the head this year haha im ashamed but he was hiding behind a doe running with and i shot a little too high but other then that i got a lot of meat and decent 6 point.

    Everyone says this isn’t hunting because he didn’t get up close to give the deer the chance to hear them and get away. What do you call guys that sit in stands and let a deer walk up shoot without them knowing they’re there. Take takes practice to do that. Y’all mad because none of y’all can shoot that far

    • @0wnedYaToo
      @0wnedYaToo Год назад +1

      Yeah you can shoot that far, but honetly man for me that isnt hunting hahaha, thats glassing and shooting a kilometers away. If you honestly think thats hard to take a poke from that far, even if you practice at those ranges, in my mind, and my own opinon its unfair.

    Incase anyone wants to talk about energy, at 1000 yards he has 1561 ft lbs of energy. Say what you will about distance, that’s your opinion, but don’t say stupid stuff about the factual ballistics when you don’t actually know.

    • @BadoreksDailys

      rodney rodriguez hahaha I’m not actually, i just ran them again to double check. You’re telling me he has 561 ft lbs? I’m really curious what ballistics program you ran, may want to get a new one. I wasn’t advocating everyone should go shoot 1000 yards, I was saying the people telling him shooting that far is unethical due to not having enough energy is incorrect, unless you think you need more than 1500 for deer lol

  • @javierbarragan2333
    @javierbarragan2333 5 лет назад +11

    Its obvious that if these guys were able to take the deer at that range its because they have practiced at the range, they know how to adjust their scopes and are able to compensate for the wind. They know what it takes to make a shot like that. If you think its too far its probably because you don't have the correct equipment and the know how to do it. Nice shot and a very nice deer.

    A lot of butt hurt guys out there that are jealous because all they find are spikes lol. If you practice enough out to those ranges there’s no reason that you can’t make the shot, sure getting in as close as you can is smarter but we all get caught up in the moment hunting. And saying there won’t be any big bucks left if everyone is shooting long range makes no sense, i don’t get how distance has anything to do with it, it’s about conservation.. don’t watch the video if you don’t like it. Anyway, awesome shot and super nice buck. I think that MOA rifles is out of Redmond oregon? I work just a couple minutes from that place, very nice rifles

      Stan Adams rifles capable of long distance shots as well as marksman able to make extended distance shots with assortments of weapons. If it will be the end of big bucks then why are there monsters regularly killed, they keep growing. Like they said right place right time, good land and conservation increases those odds.

    • @ExtremeOuterLimits
      @ExtremeOuterLimits  5 лет назад +6

      Correct, because of under harvest on predators, and encroachment of habitat. Because one of us with a long range rifle compensates for the thousands and thousands of unsuccessful hunters.
