Has this been disabled in 5.3? Because my texture is flat and the new nanite dissplacement method for landscapes crashes on big landscapes so i was hoping pom still worked.
According to the Unreal Engine 5.3 Release Notes, POM is still supported in 5.3 and has not been disabled. However, you may need to check your Material settings and make sure you are using the Make Material Attributes node and the POM node in your Material graph. You also need to enable Tessellation If you are using Material Layers, you need to add the POM node to your Material Layer Asset or Material Layer Blend Asset, and then use the Material Attributes input in your base Material graph. You can also use the Mesh Paint mode to paint POM on your Mesh Actor.
So incredibly helpful! Thank you!
Wow, thanks!

Also could you do this as landscape material?

For Some reason when I apply the texture it looks extremely shiny like a mirror and the texture moves when I move the camera. Using 5.3 by the way

You're welcome!
Can it be used on mesh (example: a mesh of irregular terrain) or only on unreal planes...?
Yes, try adding to the cube or something and you will see the effect.
@@ezunreal I say imported irregular knits...
nothing works with the reference plane . it does not do anything and does not even appear in my mat instance
Can this be done with any material?
Probably
EXcellent!!
Thank you! Cheers!
