Little note about the wrist watches: usually worn on the inside of the wrist to save seconds. A doctor/nurse can keep an eye on time (for pulse, breath, etc) while still having their hand available to perform.
Well, there were flat screen TVs in 2003 but weren't really skinny and were very expensive. My uncle-in-law had one in his furnished basement. It was maybe 55-60" length and 4-5" in width. The thing was so heavy it was braced to the wall. I am not sure if it was plasma but I believe it was. The picture was not that great, but back then it was the shit! Either way, John would not waste his time or money to get one of those for a trap. It would be like him using pure silver for the buckets and 24k gold for the keys.
21:11 John planned for his and Jill's son Gideon to be born in the Chinese Year of the Pig as well. So both the pig mask and the Billy puppet which was going to be a toy for him when he was born are both tributes to him.

yeah that's what i don't get, like he could have dug him up and hid him in the morgue or something, but how did they not notice that the dirt was dug up? legit the only explanation is that logan carefully dug up the entire chunk of grass so that he could place it back in afterwards (golf course style). Anything Saw related are probably my favorite videos, especially the deep dives because I love seeing small nuggets that you'll miss on a casual viewing.
hmm... weird how jigsaws first real game was a very complex multi-person game with several traps, but after that he does the saw one traps, most of wich are relatively simple, one room, one person. The razorwire room, the beartrap, the naked dude with the candle, even the bathroom is quite simple. All stuff I could see someone with an engineering background actually build. It would make sense that those were his first traps. I always found it kinda stupid that he went on to make games that involve giant buildings or multiple locations, many people and circumstances he shouldn't be able to control, but there is a clear progression. For the game in Jigsaw to be his first...no,I don't think so...He doesn't even have followers yet, how did he get all those people there?
Yeah. I always had the same issue with it. Personally I never liked the multi person traps in general. Only the Saw 2 one made sense to me. As it was shown John always liked to be present or closely monitor the traps to make sure nothing goes wrong. Saw 2 makes sense because Amanda was directly involved to fill that role and keep an eye on things directly. Plus the trials after 2 always involved innocents or people in traps that themselves have no control over which also directly goes against his ideals.
I mean i get your point, however it does say that Kramer wanted to experiment with what effectively is a form of "group therapy" in a way. There is a whole monologue about seeing if groups of people could work together to escape while figuring out their own challenges and whatnot. After it effectively failed he refocused on individuals which need much less complicated set ups typically.
I feel like this can be explained by the change in intent by Jigsaw. During the “first game” the intent is to make the players Confess their sins. Even in religion, confession requires at least 1 present witness to hold real clout. Otherwise there’s nothing to risk in confessing it and it hold no power, and no true atonement. The traps after that were intended to completely change the player’s core beliefs, which is a much easier sell when done 1 on 1. The group or paired games contain people who are connected by the actions they committed. As for how he got them there without followers, he wasn’t nearly as sick during his first game as he was in each subsequent game.
Honestly they prob will as he set it up perfectly to kill the person he wanted... although if there is a new killer in spiral he might be flushed out of hiding to help said new person
@@DanganHana I loved the saw franchise and its story and detail in characters these last 2 are just rushed and pathetic imitations just like their killers.

What i still don't get is why Logan told Haloran that "10 years ago in this very barn a game was played" at the end, since the movie plays out in 2016/2017 and that game had to be played in 2003.
Not sure if anyone’s said this before, but, I really appreciate when the ads pop up. Doesn’t just interrupt the video, nicely placed between the sections of the video.. me like, thank you 😊
Josh Stolberg (writer of Jigsaw and Spiral) said on Twitter that the identity of the driver who picks up Eleanor is important. I feel like it’s either Hoffman or Gordon. Probably Gordon because Hoffman is probably dead. I feel like Jigsaw 2 was going to be Gordon trying to convince Eleanor to take down Logan. Because Logan was straight up murdering people and damaging the Jigsaw legacy. Eleanor would have to decide which side she’s on, Gordon’s or Logan’s.

Love seeing that Brad Halloran’s head is sliced in 8 pieces. Paused and counted. And an observation from Saw VI and Jigsaw (maybe others in the franchise) Billy’s shoes are sequined or glittery just like Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers in the Wizard of Oz as mentioned in Saw II the order of the colors would be found “Over the Rainbow. I wouldn't necessarily say the doctor wristwatch is an homage to John, mainly for the fact that the doctor's watch was loose and could have spun around while John's was secured. But its still a good hidden detail to think about.

I wear my watch on the inside of my wrist. I personally just do it out of habit because it protects the face of the watch in case you bump into something. It makes sense that a doctor who frequently has to rush around might do it, but it makes even more sense for Jigsaw, an engineer, to do it because he works with tools and machines that could damage a watch by accident.
@@CZsWorld Can I just say how happy I'm with this one? When I gave Jigsaw a chance I had to admit I didn't wanted to like it or even view it. But this just made me wanna re-watch it and appreciate all the easter eggs and homages to the saga. And the editing 👨🏻🍳💋
Is it true that James Wan had a hard time filming the scene where Adam is left to die bc its played by his bestie Leigh Whannell, bc if thats true i think its precious ❤
Oh snap, James Wan also did The Conjuring 2, imdb says. Cinematic mastery imo, the rolling shots were insanely good in that flick. Knowing he cares for his friends so much only makes me love him more
I'm incredibly curious about the theories of who Logan's unknown accomplice(s?) are/were in Jigsaw. Obviously someone else has to be helping Logan since they knock both Logan and Halloran out in the barn to set up the laser necklace, and they could also be the person who picks up Eleanor at the end of the movie. Out of the last men standing at the end of Saw 7 is Lawrence, who could have gotten in contact with Logan after he got out of the Hospital. Maybe John mentions him to Lawrence during that "No more secrets" bit. From possible characters "in" Jigsaw maybe Keith? He was convinced by Logan that Halloran was the Jigsaw killer, so maybe he could have been converted. I was going to say Edgar Munsen, but nope he was dead at that point.
I've always liked to imagine that the doctors followers were other people in the trap recovery group since two other unknown people help him attack Hoffman. Maybe those same people help put the body's around the city
Hello CZ's world, I really love your videos. However for the part you mentioned the buddha statues, the one on 22:44, I believe is a terracotta army soldier, not a buddha. (from the hair and clothing) Just wanted to point it out.
I dont really believe Hoffman is alive but the door to that room is never shown to lock in literally any way, it has always just slid open and closed with no subsequent locking sound. Knowing this Hoffman has time on his side overall to escape. The doctor seems to think that no saw = no possible escape but that really just isnt true. Detective Matthews just broke his foot or ankle to escape the chain afterall, there are heavy pipes right next to him, a bathtub, the tile floor is solid. This is the guy whose first thought was to break his hand to escape the chair, rip the reverse bear traps mouth piece out through his cheek, and didnt hesitate AT ALL to go for the saw to cut off his foot. I am positive he would be fine with breaking his foot or ankle to escape that trap. Hoffman is a survivor.
Blue Laser light loses its heat & burning/cutting ability the further away from the initial starting source it gets. I could use it to cut into your leg by igniting it an inch or less from it. But pulling it back a foot or so, your skin will just receive welts or begin to burn depending on how long i aimed it on at your leg. Then, of course, if i pointed it at your leg from a few yards away, you may only possibly feel a slight warmth there to no difference at all.
The first time i know jigsaw is: i was going to watch movie i forgot which movie it was and when i was waiting in the line i SAW the trailer for the first time

It makes sense that a doctor who frequently has to rush around might do it, but it makes even more sense for Jigsaw, an engineer, to do it because he works with tools and machines that could damage a watch by accident.
Not even seen this and already know its gonna be good 🙌🏼🖤
It's really happening this time! Nobody eat any bat soup or anything this time.
That Toronto joke was funnier than it deserved haha
My favorite franchise, my favorite horror analyst. Thank you for this, CZ. ❤️
"oh shit I'm out of wheat shi I'll just use some parts from my other traps no one will notice"
Is it true that James Wan had a hard time filming the scene where Adam is left to die bc its played by his bestie Leigh Whannell, bc if thats true i think its precious ❤
Yeah it's true. Leigh Whannell's screaming at the end of the original was so realistic James Wan nearly cried and had to go out of the room.
@@Xehanort10 i love themmm
Oh snap, James Wan also did The Conjuring 2, imdb says. Cinematic mastery imo, the rolling shots were insanely good in that flick. Knowing he cares for his friends so much only makes me love him more
@@JadedOne420 yes i love when he and whannell work together you just know ots gonna be worth ittt
13:27 another reference is that John is in the middle of the room unreachable
Absolutely love these saw videos man!!!
Watched them all back to back! Great job(:
People say these movies are "just gore" and are called dumb but my god there's so much thought to every single element and they all tie in
I really like that you put bumbers before an ad, instead of just cutting of the video mid sentence.
I liked the video for you helping everyone to find Halloran's first name.
Hopefully Hoffman is still alive cause that Wanted poster made me think that if he was dead, they would have removed the poster
cant wait for things you missed in spiral
I was going to say Edgar Munsen, but nope he was dead at that point.
yaaay i was having a really rough morning so thank you for posting this for an escape at the right time (‘:
CZ needs to have his own special on TV
I've absolutely loved every video
I've always liked to imagine that the doctors followers were other people in the trap recovery group since two other unknown people help him attack Hoffman. Maybe those same people help put the body's around the city
I have wondered for a while now, how was bucket head killed. I know decapitation by saw, but the bucket is intact, which it should not be
Ok. I'm ready for this. Let's go!
Love these saw vids keep them coming
Hello CZ's world, I really love your videos.
However for the part you mentioned the buddha statues, the one on 22:44, I believe is a terracotta army soldier, not a buddha. (from the hair and clothing)
Just wanted to point it out.
A thought: if Logan is the new John Kramer, I wonder if he's the killer in Spiral.
I just binged all your Saw videos yesterday, it's like you read my mind about putting out a video on Jigsaw 🤯
Recently found this channel and it's pretty cool to find a pro SAW community.
✌🏽🤘🏼
During Saw 3D IA Gibson tells his the other guy that he took down Hoffman guys. So there is precedent of Hoffman using help to accomplish his goals.
The Spike Trap is from Saw IV, not Saw VI. (12:27)
I wonder if Wan hid any Saw stuff in his fast and furious movie
Can't wait for one on Spiral
Blue Laser light loses its heat & burning/cutting ability the further away from the initial starting source it gets. I could use it to cut into your leg by igniting it an inch or less from it. But pulling it back a foot or so, your skin will just receive welts or begin to burn depending on how long i aimed it on at your leg. Then, of course, if i pointed it at your leg from a few yards away, you may only possibly feel a slight warmth there to no difference at all.
Saw is my favourite franchise and this week is just the best thing ever for me, ty so much ;-;
Yay for a Bentley reference!! *Pretends Sly 4 wasn't total dumpsterfire*
The first time i know jigsaw is: i was going to watch movie i forgot which movie it was and when i was waiting in the line i SAW the trailer for the first time
9:10 I normally don’t find the jigsaw mask scary at all but the glowing red eyes are actually terrifying, to me anyway 😂
Watches on the inside of the wrist is a military thing. It is to protect it from debris, to prevent glare coming from it and to prevent having to lower your weapon to see the display.
16:55 or one of the boxes the keys were hanging in, in Saw V's first trap.
I really love whenever I see CZ's video in my notifications
That Sly Cooper reference totally threw me off lol, glad to see another fan of the series! (other than Sly 4)
The guy who messed up John's X-ray...wasn't that just an _accident?_
