I ❤ the intro mate! That’s a nice 👍🏻 looking 🎸mate, but that headstock looks lawsuit worthy?, so if I were Stritch, I’d be careful!. Overall it’s better than my 1st guitar., and It looks like a great modding platform. I’d definitely change those pups out for some dual rails(Dimarzio,SD), but it’s not that bad. Thanks for sharing your experience with Stritch products. Until next time… get naked, get your shred on, and keep it bluesy.
I was surprised the Pots had so much range compared to most others. A little pickup swap may do it some good. I’ll have to check the headstocks now that you mentioned it🤣
@SearchingForTone Donner was smart to go beyond guitars, to pedals, modelers, etc...and Strich seems to be doing similar. There are alot of brands like this, so anything they can do to set themselves apart is a smart thing
Certainly not a bad package hope to get the amp demo out soon too, not sure how it compares to the amp in the Tease Package but that is probably the better package for a little more I think you’re getting alot more
Glad you found the tone. Good review. I really like the camera work and the various angles that you are using. What type of camera are you using and as usual great lighting. Are you planning to make any mods to the guitar?
Thank you sir, I use just an iPhone 14 with the Blackmagic camera app(free). I think I might do a comparison video of it between the Squier debut telecaster then decide which one I want to mod fully and which one I’m going to take my pickguard from the tease guitar and replace it.
@@SearchingForTone Have you ever looked into Greasy Groove pickguards, neck plates, and tremolo covers? I have used them quite a bit when I have done mods on Strats and Telecasters.
Thanks Brian. I lean towards your original assessment of the color. It's a bit too orange for my taste. How are the tuning machines and the cut of the nut? I like that they sent a new pack of strings with the guitar. I think all new guitars should come with replacement strings, as who knows how long the factory strings have on.
It’s not super orange but it’s not tobacco either. The tuners are about the same as any budget guitar, especially at the price point. Cheap plastic nut found on most, not sloppy but would replace with something better. Kind of thin so slot may need to be increased some what
They really need to change the pictures on their Amazon listing. The headstock shape is completely different, and some of the pictures look like there is a chunk of wood missing.
I bought my nephew a package for 50$ more and this thing blows it out of the water. And the amp is actually pretty decent. Going to do that in a separate review
@SteveResor yeah was a proud uncle moment when they told me he bought his own stuff, thinking he probably got a Squier or something not a shred machine🤣
Not bad, decent bones. You could make it a good Partscaster, strip the headstock, and refinish it with no logo, a loaded pickguard a Guyker tremolo and it would be better than a Squire out of the box for just under $200. You'd pay $100 or more for the same sound in a mid grade Squier. The Tease guitar seems to be a better platform and could mod one of those to play like an actual Fender
Nice guitar, and the pickup graphics you're using now are solid! How do you get in touch with them at Strich? I'm having trouble finding their contact info.
I'm not familiar with the brand interesting to see your take on it. Is that a firefly explorer behind you? I just ordered the flying v in that same color and interested to see it in person
@@SearchingForTone I have 3 fireflies, the newer ES is better than the ST and TL styles from a few years ago. It's a weird brand tho hit and miss what you find out there at any given time. Good quality for the price tho and features typical of higher end stuff.
I think I might be taking the Tease Guitar Loaded Pickguard and putting it into this. Those were good, but first I think I'm going to shoot this out with the squier debut Strat
Whoa! The headstock is exactly Fender! Wonder how they get away with that? Funny the headstock looks different in the Amazon listing. A little photoshop magic perhaps to throw off the guitar police.
Your shirt in the later part is epic
Haha very VistaCreate-y might’ve been where I got it from 🤣
Great review! Awesome they sent that to you, I haven't seen any other Stritch reviews. I wouldn't even recognize the brand but for your videos 😅
I’ve only seen them on tik tok, there’s a handful of pedal demos on YT but that’s it

@TheGhostLad1 Wow, I didn't notice the headstock until I read your comment. Dangerously close, for sure
“Gratuitous Knob Fiddler” might make for a good T-shirt
🤣
Good review brother. I can definitely see these selling alot for the holidays
Price it might be the best bang, maybe Donner but they also have a lot of the same features sooooo🤔
@SearchingForTone Donner was smart to go beyond guitars, to pedals, modelers, etc...and Strich seems to be doing similar. There are alot of brands like this, so anything they can do to set themselves apart is a smart thing
O...No..Someone else sneaking into the country by guitarbox!! SHOW ME YOUR GREENCARD.
I was hoping there’s going to be 2 in there🤣. But then it arrived open I was hoping nothing was missing
With Christmas near that would be a great gift. It’s got pretty much everything, nice🎉

@marlan3rd I have not I have just got done editing a video on telecaster replaced everything with Guyker and musclily. I’ll give them a looksy

I think they might be shipping like In their picture now instead probably cause it was too close to another brands shape
Not bad at all for the Price..Would make a good First Guitar Gift.
I bought my nephew a package for 50$ more and this thing blows it out of the water. And the amp is actually pretty decent. Going to do that in a separate review
@SearchingForTone Bet He Loved It ! I was wondering about the little amp and how it sounds 🤔
Inspired him a later to buy a Schecter with a Floyd and a boss katana he is probably already better than me
@@SearchingForTone Oh Man that is Awesome !
@SteveResor yeah was a proud uncle moment when they told me he bought his own stuff, thinking he probably got a Squier or something not a shred machine🤣
hauntingly close "looking" to the big "F" model...gett em before they get busted lol!
seriously this model had some nice "stock" tones!
The amp wasn’t all that bad I got a video on that too to release

Yeah I was going to do the Squier debut head to head in another video before moding either one of them
@SearchingForTone that will make a great video
The sunburst reminds me of the 60s teiscos
It’s not too bad for the price wish it was more brownish like tobacco
Nice guitar, and the pickup graphics you're using now are solid!
How do you get in touch with them at Strich? I'm having trouble finding their contact info.
They actually had reached out to me from the start, think through tiktok possibly which I never use but need to start amping that up
@@SearchingForTone very cool! Thanks for showing their stuff.
@@SouthwestTechTV Its certainly not a bad option, and their stands and pedals are really good

Yeah it is they are pretty darn good quality for the price. Doesn’t feel chincy at all. Kinda wish I got an LP now

You got a box fort?! 🤣
They are so much fun🤣
9-42 strings are skinny 🤣🤣🤣Im using Ernies 8-38 because im old.........🤘😎👍
Plenty I know use 9s, and 8s are becoming more popular. I’ve contemplated dropping down to 9s
Oh please, use a Strat with some decent pickups for the demos 😢
I think I might be taking the Tease Guitar Loaded Pickguard and putting it into this. Those were good, but first I think I'm going to shoot this out with the squier debut Strat

PS sounds amazing. What model Marshall is that?
Marshal DSL40 C you know I never noticed the headstock on Amazon I wonder if they sent this to me know cause they had to change it
