This song sums up perfectly the modern age where people spend their time staring into their phones(glass danse) and so self absorbed into their self image as its project through social medias (the club that keeps the real life world out) If you think on the lyrics you can see how it mirrors the age of clout chasing on tiktok or whatever platform really, all social media breeds the same mentality.
I've been listening to this since it came out, and honestly I can't find anything else quite like it. I wish I could. It's funny, this music vaguely reminds me of 80's songs, but there was nothing in the 80's that sounds remotely like this. I like feeling nostalgic for things that don't actually exist.
+Andy Mitchell Try Deadsy maybe. Deadsy is the only band that really sounds somewhat like The Faint off the top of my head, and even that may be a stretch as Deadsy is way less synth oriented.
Holy memory lane! This band was a big favorite of mine in middle school. Among bands Dresden Dolls, Nine Inch Nails and AFI. I'm pretty glad I branched out though.
I remember when they came to sokol, sold out show. My buddy and I didnt have tickets and waited till the cops walked over to some girl throwing up outside. Ran straight in and didnt look back. Great night lol.
Lol I listen to this when I blow glass. Just made half a shot glass and had to do a glass dance to roll a whole new oxygen cylinder around my backyard at midnight trying not to wake my.parents and neighbors 👌
i wonder the same thing lol most people i talk to that dont play anything have no idea who these guys are and the ones that do either love or hate them. but always know who im talking about..... and i found the ones that DO love them are very introspective type thinkers. if you can listen to the lyrics and dive deep into the poetry and hidden meanings you will never fall in love with the band.
This brings me back to playing Max Payne 2 dead man walking. This band and that game mode. You get 17 minutes on scaffolding hearing it all. You feel like your floating like a angel and then blamo. Back to minute 1 on the next map. Still hyped to hear this!
..Ya ive tried those and just didnt think it was enough; until i tried the 3 together!... Not bad ya'll.. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!! P.s. TRUE STORY: when my bf read this he said 'That'd be hard!!'.. HAHAHAHHA.. & IT WOULD, IT WOULD BE!!! :))

I feel like orgy was kind of a similar vibe, although admittedly distinctly different.
Try crystal castles

What a throwback! I haven't heard this record in ove 8 years. Still as sick!
This is so much better than any of the electronic shit that's out now. Especially Skrillex. Skrillex gives me migraines.
