This is the guy she married. The front man of The Bravery.
I'm in my 50s and heard this song for the 1st time about 6 months ago. I was hooked when I heard it on Sirus radio. Very good sound. I like some of their other stuff too.
I remember when this band released this song there was an explosion of retro bands. The Vines, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon, The Darkness, The Strokes, etc. What a time to be alive.
Kings of Leon have blown my mind with their stuff.
Yeah, loads of bands that aged really badly because were technically average and artistically very sub par.
amazing bands!!!! to me one of the best time for bands.
an awesome time in music
@@frightbat208 I guess no one would be jealous of someone who lived through the music of the '60s, '70s and '80s like i did because that person would appear ancient to them - Pros and Cons....
this is still one of the most well filmed and beautifully calculated music videos I've seen, realizing they just literally did the ultimate chain reaction just to shoot an arrow that misses, fuckin amazing lol
OMG I absolutely love this band. There music resonates deep in my soul
I remember when they first played this on the mtv channel back in the early 2000"s
Good call Nascar on NBC for brining this memory back in the Brickyard 400 today!
“It was an honest mistake!” - Carson Hocevar
I had forgotten how fun this song was. It goes great in a dimly lit bar with everyone dancing, such as was the case last night. So fun!
where do you live and what bar was it that was playing such awesome music?
Haha good memories from harpop
***** that's super legit, sadly I live in Vancouver, Canada, it's rare to find bars out here that play music like that, it's either hipster bars and clubs or clubs and bars for jersey shore wannabe's, its a sad state of affairs out here.
Such a solid album!
Damn!! This song brings back memories. I'm in college and I remember this song being released when I was in the 4th grade. Time flies.
way to make me feel old, I was 15 when this came out
SAME HERE! I remember waiting for all of the songs that I am reminiscing to now to be played on MTV2. I remember how much I used to love watching TV for these videos to come on.
Yeah this song was released when i was in 8th grade. lol how old do i feel now.
Honestly, I envy you. I was a freshman in college when this came out. I would give anything to have that time back.
Was in the ninth grade at the time, would've been fifteen. I remember getting their self-titled album one month after they released in America. Never heard of them, but found it to be an excellent album. I wouldn't put it on my top favorite, but it's a fine solid album none-the-less.
Ah, good times and fun music.
I miss FUSE in the early 2000s. Before it went MTV on us.
OH MY GOD IM SO GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE. I remember listening to FUSE music video block every morning while getting ready for school. I miss Steven's Untitled Rock Show :(
I know I miss the music that used to be played
Met these guys after a show in DC back in 2006. Had a nice long conversation with Dirt (bassist) Really nice guy. Just wish they were still around.
Can remember this tune and the bravery were pushed and expected big things unfortunately it never meterialised
MTV originally brought me here. I remember watching this in the morning before school. Great memories
Erik Plumley Burnout Revenge brought me here but with the Superdiscount Remix version which is way better than the Original version
no it isn't
@@beepst yes it was
It was in Burnout Revenge on Xbox
This band was my ENTIRE childhood. I'm so glad my dad has good taste
I hear New Order/Joy Division in this one.
Especially the beginning.
The chord progression used in the verses is similar to True Faith's chorus, as well as Monaco's What Do You Want From Me?.
The synth arpeggios kinda remind me of Rio by Duran Duran
nuwavghost You’re totally right
@1234 Right? It was a shocker when I found out some years ago. It's a very British post-punk sound.
But here sounds ten thousand times better
Really miss this genre of music …. This sounds fresh and revelant .
Still a magnificent track. Hasn’t aged a day!!
The drums on this song are just too good
Still one of the best songs I've ever heard.
I’ve been looking for this song FOREVER. It still sounds amazing!
I remember listening to this as a 4 year old while driving to the beach with my mom. Good times 😊❤
Oooh
Your mam is cool!
I too have overcome these road trips with music! and slayed them with family audiobooks! good times
That's a nice memory :)
They remind me of Joy Division and early New Order big time and also The Smiths... Plus the singer reminds me of Morrissey the way he sings and prances around.
This song was introduced to me during the second season of the OC back in 2004 and I fell in love!!! Sooo good!!
This song was so effing underrated, bad ass!
Kattie FACTS !!
Love tempo of drums
It's from Burnout Revenge on Xbox
Listened to this playing World of Warcraft when I was 12. I'm 23 and it's more relevant than ever
Reminds me of Leroy Jenkins.
@@pulsefang666 LEEEEEEEERROY!!!! JEEEEEEENKINS!!!!! omg did he just...
Glad to see you've come out of WOW unscathed.
This song was so powerful the time it dropped. man it made my year and memories
I grew up in the 80's and the first thing I thought when I heard this song was, "They sound like New Order."
Blue Monday
I remember hearing this song every morning before I went to school. God, still so good.
Me too!! 😭
This song is totally amazing, I miss so much this band, specially this era, they kick ass with so much style!!
This song is SO under rated.
Saw these guys supporting Depeche Mode in Birmingham UK many years ago. Great live band!
Feels like the 2000s post-punk/nu wave era was far too short-lived. Saw these guys 4 times in concert. Think this was the last time I crushed hard on a lead singer. Sam Endicott was SEX. Great music, underrated band.
