I will definitely try this in Philippines. Usually I cook them without coating glutinous but only glutinous balls with bananas,sweet potato, tapioca pearl ,coconut milk ,evaporated or fresh milk they called it bilo- bilo in Bicol region but in Visayas we call it binignit😊.

Thank you for your comment. Glad you liked it! Actually it can be eaten during confinement period. But traditionally, Chinese usually believe that taro / yam can cause allergic reaction, so you can omit the taro if you prefer. Hope that helps :)

你可以用保鲜膜包暂时把面团收起。但是建议提前一晚先做好汤圆,隔天再煮汤圆。撒一些糯米粉,放入容器收在冰箱里。
