Well I’m born and raised here in my beautiful Tennessee and I want to first and foremost welcome one and all … my family goes back generations here before Tennessee was even a state .. I live in the eastern side and you folks want to see beauty well y’all need to see East of Knoxville.. all around is beautiful scenery and good folks to boot .. now we are a red state and will gladly tell you how we like our living to stay.. just saying.. lots of good Christian folks and that is what I mainly want to tell y’all.. please come but please please don’t try and change us to what you folks ran here to get away from .. we have churches on just about every street corner and love our hometown street parties for fun but clean wholesome fun now .. I know our country is changing and not for the good . But no matter with a warm Tennessee welcome with some southern hospitality will certainly be given as long as it’s warranted.. much love and hugs come one come all but leave your whatever state you’re leaving pretty please..
We are Christians currently living in Canada. We are thinking of moving to the outskirts of Knoxville. Right now looking at maryville. Any towns you could suggest?
Thank you no one does nice better then people Related to Jesus, that's when it gets freake, no Jesus no good its just better here it's not popular because people think of one should be sin is acceptable , no fence sitting that's the only difference.anyway have a nice day.iam glad you and your wife are happy.
@@michaelsix9684 It got so pricy because too many people are moving here and destroying our cost of living. Houses that used to cost 100k to 150k now cost between 300k to 600K. All the influx of people are ruining everything.
There's nothing to be done about the increasing housing prices due to insane demand, but as long as the people moving here don't make it California, all are welcome. Tennessee has been home my whole life, and it's changed a lot in the last decade. People want to move here for a reason, so let's not change it.
I understand what you mean by Californians making it California. I live in Phoenix Az and for the last few years its getting crowded and lots of California license plates and it Sucks.
The housing market used to be affordable, but it's insanely high right now. While I welcome everyone moving here, it's partly the reason the housing market has become so unaffordable. You can't compete with people moving here from other states who make a profit selling their homes and are paying cash. Houses are gone as soon as their listed. My daughter and her fiancé are wanting a home of their own, but they can't afford it sadly. 10 years ago they wouldn't have had a problem. When I was young, I remember Tennessee and other southern states were made fun of by the rest of the US. I couldn't travel anywhere without someone commenting on my southern accent. I was in California when I was a teen and some kids asked me why I wasn't wearing overalls and a straw hat. Now, we are in the top 10 states people moved to in 2021. WOW
Just wait, the New Yorkers and Californians will ruin that place. They don’t assimilate. They’ll just complain and try to change things. I was a Californian 29 years ago. The newer ones aren’t like they used to be.
We moved to East Tennessee after giving Florida 3 years (did not like the flat lands, hurricanes, alligators or extreme heat) We had to moved FL from 20 years in Southern California for work. Originally from Wisconsin. We absolutely love Eastern Tennessee and are looking to plant roots but as you said, the housing market is out of sight right now. I expect in a few years when things settle down, we will find something affordable. In the meantime we are leasing a house in an amazing historic community near the University of Tennessee. You are correct, there is so much to do, see and eat. History, museums, hiking, fishing, golf, outdoor activities, parks, the Great Smoky Mountains, music BBQ, dining out doors, and so much more. We absolutely love the 4 seasons. In fact, we experienced our first magical snowfall on our first Christmas here. It was beautiful enough to make us cry. The people here are so sweet and respectful. Thank you for your information.
Wow Ruth! Gave me chills reading about tears on your first snowfalls! So glad you love it too!! We’d love to explore Eastern TN more. What part of So Cal were you in? I grew up out there too. Miss the beach but the trees are very calming too!
@@RyanandMelissaPage Hi Guys! We were in rural Santa Barbara County, what we like to call strawberry, flowers & wine country sandwiched between Orcutt & Santa Maria. We grew an awesome garden of 36 different fruits & vegetables. We enjoyed riding our Harley along the ocean and all over the Central Coast hills from Santa Barbara to Paso Robles. Sadly, the landscaped changed to more cannabis grows w/ hoop houses, the economy tanked making the cost of living impossible to stay. We are so happy to have made this dramatic move. We love the smooth roads, especially on the Smoky Mountain Parkway. The history around here is beautifully highlighted in the outstanding museums such as the Sam Houston Historic Schoolhouse, the Museum of Appalachia, and Cades Cove Museum. I'm sure Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge are great places to visit but the traffic seems to be overwhelming so we stay away.
I've been thinking about moving to Nashville for quite some time. I left my hometown in Minnesota moved to Las Vegas, then moved to Texas then moved back to Vegas. I asked my friend " if Vegas and Texas had a baby where would that be?" She said Nashville! I think its my next move. And this video confirmed it! So glad i found this!!!
You're going to love the fall! You'll have to take a trip to Gatlinburg in October to see the trees and the Smokey Mountains! It was amazing! We're so excited for you and your husband! Best of luck on your move and welcome to Tennessee! 💛
@@beavisbrowne3497 where I am I have a few hot days, but we had one day go to 88. That’s it. For the most part summer is 82-84. There were areas ten miles away that were 90 but not us.
Tennessee can get extremely hot in the summers. If you’re from Arizona then maybe it won’t be so bad. But if you come from the west coast get ready for the heat wave.
As a homeowner here in California, I'm happy everytime someone moves out of California, we've got too many people here in the first place, as the saying goes " if you ever move away from California you can never afford to come back " BTW in the last two years my house has increased in value by 150 K .
Welcome to TN....I've lived in Tennessee most my life. It is a beautiful place.. but My once small town is not small anymore 😢... and the prices have skyrocketed due to the grown in the last 2 years... now we are looking to move to another small town or to the country... neither better than a small town life in TN 💕
I've been living in Pigeon forge for 2 years and I'm a live musician in Gatlinburg. The music scene is definitely competitive in some areas, but at the end of the day we're a music family. Glad you two enjoy Tennessee life. Come visit Gatlinburg in the fall and catch a live performance or two at some of the amazing bars and venues we have!
When I visited Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, I wanted to move there. I was just looking at what areas are best to move to outside of those because that's where everybody travels to
I am so glad I found your video because I live in Phoenix Az and have for the last 28 years. I want a change and Tennessee is my destination I am looking for. I also have all the same questions you guys had and still have. I plan on moving in 1-2 years. I will be 50 years old in 2026 so new live for me at age 50 and new location. I want to travel and experience so much new stuff on East coast since I have experienced everything on west coast already. I will be moving more towards Knoxville and Chattanooga area for I want less hustle and bustle instead of all the business here in Phoenix. Thanks I will watch more of your videos as weeks to come. You are correct lots of realtor videos.
Do you have a house in Phoenix? You can probably pay cash for a larger house or a house the same size with a larger property with the equity from your Phoenix house.
The family and I are moving to East Tennessee in May from Northern California. I, too, am looking forward to the four seasons (vs two that we have here). It'll be nice to see some rain again. It's our very own "Great Reset". Cannot wait!
TN doesn’t have spring…cold, wet and cloudy doesn’t count as spring it’s a long drawn out winter. Summer is unbearable to be outside, with all the bugs and humidity…so four seasons? Idk about that…
GREAT PRESENTATION. THANK YOU FOR THE HONESTY. I AM ABOUT TO MOVE THERE WITHIN THE NEXT 6 OR 7 WEEKS FROM OHIO SO THE INFO IS APPRECIATED. I LOVE YOUR PERSONALITY AND HAPPINESS. WISHING YOU GOD'S BLESSING.
My wife and I moved to Knoxville from Orange County, CA last October, so we were able to experience the tail end of Fall and LOVED IT. Winter has been an adventure, but being in Knoxville we don't get as severe weather like the West side of the state since we are up against the Smokies, but we have also loved every minute of it! We have enjoyed doing excursions on the weekends when my wife doesn't work (she's a nurse) and have loved Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge along with civil war historical places. My wife and I are in the same boat in housing, we are currently in an apartment and hopefully inventory will open up in the spring so we can pounce on one. We moved here from CA to take a step back and breathe from the high stress you get there and our stress levels have significantly dropped since moving here. Not that it's totally gone, but it is so much less. People are nicer, food is great and the atmosphere of seeing the beautiful trees everywhere you go makes it for a relaxing place!
Awesome glad you love it too! I can totally relate since I grew up in OC and feel the hustle and bustle when I go back. Have you been back yet? The trees are so calming! Jealous you're so close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We went this October and it was so beautiful there!!
Moved from arizona to tennessee as well. I do love arizona and miss it but I love tennessee as well. The desert will always hold a place in my heart but love all the forest and green here.
I’m so bummed my husband and I didn’t move there when I wanted to. He wasn’t on board back a year or so ago. Now it’s too expensive and my dream home is not only gone, but at least $600k MORE than it was when I was looking. I’m glad you two got to live your dreams. Why am I feeling so resentful of the fact that the entire country is moving there? It’s never going to be the same.
I'm kind of resentful the entire country is moving here, too! It will never be the same if everybody brings their blue state voting habits in here! Some people are drawn by the absent income tax, but it is a hard-fought battle to keep it that way!
Quit looking for houses in cities. Look rural. And yes, if you really, really want to move here you may have to find a double wide manufactured home. The new ones are well built, and they are normally much, much less expensive than a conventional stick built house. Look rural.
We lived in Tennessee for 6 years, from Arizona. Had to move back to help with elderly parents, loved the 4 seasons and a slower pace of life.Madisonville worked for us.
We bought a house near Strawberry plains pike. We arrived end of July 22. Big yard and larger for so much less money than in California. We love it here
Welcome to TN don't forget the check out Falls Creek Falls Park and walking trail a long with camping. Just like to say to everyone moving to TN welcome.
Yes, yes, yes. . . you are exactly right. I have been binge watching everything regarding Tennessee. The pro's & con's, fun things to do, cool hikes, fishing on the rivers, etc. I love that everything is so green. Still trying to find a country type home with some property and an old rusty metal roof barn
FYI - I work at Hometown Lenders in Franklin TN, but there are companies that will pay cash for the house you want, and then turn around and sell it to you. They will turn you into a cash buyer. One company I do work with is Ribbon Home. They will pay cash for the house, you rent to from them for 1-3 months, then they sell it back to you for the same price. It's a great way to combat all the cash buyers in our market and allows you to get your dream home without worrying about a finance contingency. Look them up, or message me, and review their details but they are pretty straight forward. The housing market is crazy all across the US, but even more so here in Tennessee with everyone wanting to move here. I am glad y'all like it here so far and hope you find your dream home! Good luck!
My fiancé and I visited TN outta the blue last weekend ( after thkgiving) We stayed at pigeon Forge and personally I didn’t get any warm fuzzies from locals. I love to smile but rarely got any back. The waitress at the holiday inn was the kindest person I came across . Each morning when I asked how she was doing she said she was fantastic and that made me smile. I felt as cold interacting with ppl as I did standing outside Paula Deen’s restaurant that cold cold night. Just left a cold feeling in my heart. I begged my husband to give it another try during a spring or summer and this time I wanna stop at Buc-ee’s most def!
I went there last year and I live in Arizona right now but, love Tennessee when I went there on a vocation! Would love to live there. Am really thinking about it! I really love bucee’s the biggest gas station in the world! Thanks for this video! I have been watching a lot of videos on Tennessee lately!
You know I've been to Tennessee twice, from Indiana. Between there and Florida I feel were the places that I felt most at home. Both have such welcoming people and it's pretty easy to spark conversations with strangers. And in my opinion, Tennessee is more beautiful of a state, because the mountains and sheer amount of wilderness there is amazing. I'm a nature person and a house somewhere out in the mountains actually sounds like paradise, but I'd be pretty lonely lol. And the bears are awesome, it feels like they're almost just part of society here the way I seen so many that wander around town. If only I wasn't 21 with no money or no clue what i wanna do with my life or no one to do it with. But I still watch these videos, just sucks that I have no clue what i'd be happy doing with my life to make enough money to go where I want. I like making music but until that takes off I feel like I'm a slave to this boring flat cornfield infested nowhere land that only prevails at factory work and farming. And then once u do tht u get stuck in the same area paycheck to paycheck like everyone else. So confused man. Hope I can one day find out what to do with my life so I can move somewhere like Tennessee or wherever like you guys. It's depressing, but thx for the video this content helps me feel better at least.
you’ll figure your way out my man. You’re very young. Keep your head up and believe in yourself. hopefully one day as a people we can help each other actually get to the places we all would like each other to be. the industry jobs are destroying our world. it’s very scary. I’m right here with you bro. Except I’m 25 with in reality, not a whole lot of money and no clue where I’m going to move to. you’re not the only one out here with the same things on your mind. Trust me. A lot of people are really struggling. I hope someday things can change, and people will charge less, pay more, and overall care more. Blessings to you and your family and friends bro. You’re gonna do just fine. Don’t worry.
Sounds a lot like my dad's story. He was expected to join his widowed mom and sisters working at the local cannery right after high school. He signed up for the Navy instead, and said it was overall a really positive experience. He learned a trade and traveled all over Asia, too. I pray you find your purpose and that it enriches you in every way. Godspeed.
We've (my sister and I) relocated to south central Tn a little over a year ago. Some adjustments no regrets. We went for acreage as opposed to traditional burbs. Again no regrets only joy.

Man I appreciate your honesty! I hate it how people misrepresent TN because they up and moved their whole life there and now want to sugar coat it! The weather in TN is inconvenient and awful. I wish more people would keep it REAL.
Welcome to our VOLUNTEER STATE and hope you enjoy a wonderful rest of your life's best times I,m 67 born raised nothing like our Tennessee spring fall summer winters are all good glad your here
Welcome to the family. Glad you are happy here. I live in Memphis right now but looking for a place in north east Tennessee, somewhere around the Knoxville area. Nashville is a great place to visit, and I have been there many times. I am now retired ad it's a little too fast paced for me. I have subscribed and will keep up with your adventures. Have a great day.
Before anyone thinks about moving to Tennessee please think about what you're doing to our local communities. The housing prices are going through the roof and little old ladies who's families have been here for 10 generations now can't pay the newly assessed taxes on their properties. Locals who built these places through our blood sweat and tears for hundreds of years are being priced out. Stay where you are and make YOUR community better and stop fleeing to places like Tennessee, Texas and Idaho.
So true. Me and my partner who are originally from TN are having such a hard time finding a house because it’s like 250k for a 3 bedroom. What average Tennessean can afford that??
The burden is on the politicians to exempt established homeowners from the increased property taxes and to keep taxes low by spending wisely and in a timely manner. In Nashville, they ignored infrastructure for 50 years and now want to gouge everyone to pay for sleeping at the wheel, even while putting TWO new homes on one old lot, thereby doubling the tax base. The problem is government...what a surprise.
We literally just had old couples lose there homes thst they had been in for years and years just so they could widen the road and build more.... it is sooo sooo sad
I've lived in East Tennessee all of my life. You're right, it isn't as humid as everyone says. Although it's strange the longer your body adjusted to Tennessee humidity the worse it will get. Now you may be sitting outside when it's 88 degrees with 60% humidity and be thinking it isn't that bad hot. But in a few years you will be in the same situation and you'll be saying... OH MY GOD IT'S HOT! 🤣. Winter is strange here also. The snow is very random. One year northern east Tennessee may get 2 or 3 storms maybe average about 3 inches of snow per storm while the southern portion of east Tennessee may not get anything... Next year could be the opposite lol. In my opinion spring and fall aren't very long seasons here. It is more or less winter or summer for the majority of the year.
Ahh a true native! We were just wondering how the weather will affect us over time. We’re excited for our second fall/winter. Fall definitely was fast last year. We’ve started to notice leaves changing already. Thanks for providing your perspective!!
@@doloresforino9585 took a job I couldn’t pass up. Good pay and a company car. I’ve lived in the south my entire life. Humidity I’m used to. Dry heat is a killer for me. Lol
As a Democrat moving there that already knows many Democrats there, I'll say you and everyone I know also doesn't want it to become Mississippi, Louisiana, or others either. So sorry. Democrat incoming...

Just two hours ago, I was driving on White Bridge Road from Harding Pike in SW Nashville en route to Trader Joe's. While stopped at the red light at Post Road, there were two cars in front of me in the two lanes, two cars behind me in the two lanes, and a sweet Mercedes adjacent to me. The cars in front of me had California and New York license plates. The cars behind me had Texas and Florida license plates. When the Mercedes raced past me because her lane was moving faster, I noticed she had Illinois plates. There's no need to wonder why a midday commute that used to take 12-15 minutes to make now takes 25-30 minutes, and why a trip at 3 PM to the airport that used to take 25-30 minutes can take as much as an hour and a half now. Of course, TJs was already out of almost half of my grocery list, because the population increase here commands that a new grocery store open about every 6 or 7 weeks, which does not happen.
Just remember wen you vote that one brand of politicians ruined Washington, and a different brand is responsible fo the low taxes and freedom we enjoy in TN.
Hey ! 😊 Just watched your video and noticed it was posted 2 yrs ago so I'm late to the party! Lol! Suggestions! Leapers Fork, Fall Creek Falls State Park and Jack Daniel's Distillery.
I’m a Florida transplant. Lived in Tennessee since 1973. Been all over the country…moved a couple times, never for long. Keep getting drawn back here. Wouldn’t live any where else. SE TN!
I wouldn't move to Knoxville. I've lived in TN my whole life, and Knoxville is, well, kind of dangerous. Maybe not as much as Nashville/Memphis, but it's up there. I live in Morristown, TN...and it's pretty chill here.
Umm... Raised in New England move to Arizona (Maricopa county) . And now to East Tennessee. Been here for a little over a year and the observations I have made are very poor health care. People really don't want to work. Having vehicles repaired or any type of service done takes a while. The scenery is beautiful but it's only for a very short time. Whereas in Arizona it's pretty consistent weather (warm and half the year really damn hot). Arizona though is very diverse with scenery. After a while of being here Believe it or not you miss the sun. It can get gloomy here especially during the winter months. And the weather is seriously erratic. It's hard to plan a trip sometimes because you just don't know what it's going to do. I think that was the biggest reason why I left New England. The only things I don't miss about Arizona is HOAs and how crowded it's becoming. It's unfortunate that there was so much influx of Californians and other very liberal states that It's now a political nightmare. I'm praying that don't happen to Tennessee.
That’s my concern, we are trying to move from Texas because so many liberal people have moved here. It’s not your country living anymore with kind people
Yeah, I live in CA and am conservative and have crossed AZ off of the list. TN, OTOH, had a Democratic majority in the State Senate as recent as '02 and the House as recent as '06. It's now 27-6 red in the Senate and 75-24 red in the House! I suppose it can change, but it appears to me the population moving in is voting red.
You too are adorable. My ancestry comes from Tennessee and Virginia and my husband and I left California in July and we couldn't be happier. It is just wonderful. I hope more can get here before the housing market explodes. The people here are just so wonderful and everything is as well. East Tennesee is where we landed and my mom was born in Knoxville, but we planted ourselves in Rogersville.
Hi, my son just bought a house in Kodak TN. I'm turning 70 this year and was hoping to move there and live in a Adult Apt or 55+ Apts. Are there any in your town? How far are you from Sevierville?
Ancestry is kind of hilarious. We are from Illinois originally. Moved to NC and lived there 30 years, retired to TN, even though our family (still stuck in the Midwest) hollered at us to "come home!" I always considered myself an Illinoisan because my ancestors had been there since the 1830s. Once I began researching my family tree, I found that our homes in North Carolina; now Tennessee; were close (like next county over) to the sites of ancestors who took the path of immigration from Virginia to Tennessee to Kentucky and then Illinois. So, we told family "we DID move home!"😁
I grew up in that area about 130 miles north in Kentucky , I live in Vegas now but I can tell you the food in that area is terrific but you want to remain physically active get a gym membership if your a foodie because the food there has a tendency to be really heavy. Lots of Bar BQ and fried foods , it's the southern way.
Thanks for doing these. My wife and I are making the move from AZ to TN or SC next year and your perspectives have been helpful. Very much appreciate a non-Realtor video.
@(not so)New in Town Arizona has been Californiaized and is so expensive and turning blue! Rents are over $2,000 average and already priced out of decent homes. Same issue as others with Californians paying ca$h and outbidding AZ residents. We were just in the south last week with 92 degrees and humidity- no where as bad as Phoenix with 105+ (for 4 straight months). No worries, we decided to live in Greenville, SC instead 😀
@(not so)New in Town thank you! And if things get worse in TX check out South Carolina. Although I can’t say the roads are any better than TN 😂 At least there’s minimal snow ❄️

My family is contemplating a move to Knoxville from Phoenix right now. We have made 2 visits in the past 6 months. I fell in love with E TN and the incredible beauty. We grew up in OH, so we know about 4 seasons (and how harsh they can be), but E TN winters appear to be much nicer and milder by comparison, especially with snow melting only a few days after it has fallen! I would be all about actual changing seasons (vs. nice, hot, hotter, and I'm melting heat) as I do miss those changes, especially fall. Were you both native to AZ, and what drew you to TN?
@@Biow3apon My in-laws are hillbillies, grew up in Virginia and West Virginia. Maybe that is part of the draw? I understand frustrations, but prices are being driven up everywhere regardless. It has become a national problem due to massive businesses now buying up all the real estate as commodities. We just want the best quality of life for our children and Eastern Tennessee is very attractive to us for that aspect.
Hey Joe! Better late than never, right? Sorry for such the delay. Are you still contemplating making the move? We weren't native to AZ - I'm from southern California, but lived in AZ for 10 years. Melissa is from NJ but lived in AZ for 7 years. We we're drawn to the change of pace and the beautiful scenery. It feels so much more enjoyable and calm living out here. Sounds weird, but just can't explain it. So much green and so many trees. Way prettier than where we were in Phoenix AZ in our opinion. Definitely one of the best decisions we've made.
Ohhh that's awesome! Glad you're loving it too! The change of pace is just so nice and different, huh? We've still not made the trip to Alabama but want to!

@@RisingUnderdog We fell in love with the Green & Clean & ALL the Wide Open Spaces(land) there was. It has grown quite a bit since 20 years ago… but the State as a whole is still LOVELY. Also coming from Southern California… We Deeply appreciated the slower pace and the hospitality(kindness/friendliness) we constantly encountered… not to mention the southern accents☺️ Our kids were 4 & 8 and the school system was VERY family orientated and respectful to parents. It’s been a few decades and unfortunately some things have changed and aren’t as “small town” as when we arrived. However Franklin TN is still a very special place to live and we’re still here.
Thank you no one does nice better then people
Related to Jesus, that's when it gets freake, no Jesus no good its just better here it's not popular because people think of one should be sin is acceptable , no fence sitting that's the only difference.anyway have a nice day.iam glad you and your wife are happy.
I wanted to move to Nashville and retired now, can't afford it, why did it get so pricey?
@@michaelsix9684 It got so pricy because too many people are moving here and destroying our cost of living. Houses that used to cost 100k to 150k now cost between 300k to 600K. All the influx of people are ruining everything.
@@karenpickford7112 Austin is a huge mess now due to same thing, it's scary
There's nothing to be done about the increasing housing prices due to insane demand, but as long as the people moving here don't make it California, all are welcome. Tennessee has been home my whole life, and it's changed a lot in the last decade. People want to move here for a reason, so let's not change it.
Who is trying to change it?? Lol
I understand what you mean by Californians making it California. I live in Phoenix Az and for the last few years its getting crowded and lots of California license plates and it Sucks.
Moving to eastern Tennessee from Pa. in February.Cant wait for the big change thats called FREEDOM!!!
Any Californians moving to Tennessee are moving because they want to get away from California lol not to turn it in to California
I've heard the jobs pay a lot less. Like, a LOT less. And there is no minimum wage so they can pay you as little as they want.
@@DynamicBailey time will tell. If this state goes from red to blue, everything good about our state will be gone. ☹️

Now it’s too expensive and my dream home is not only gone, but at least $600k MORE than it was when I was looking. I’m glad you two got to live your dreams.

Look rural.

Good luck!

It’s the national affordability crisis. It has people on the move, and folks getting priced out EVERYWHERE.
People don't care they are greedy!

Moved to NC and lived there 30 years, retired to TN, even though our family (still stuck in the Midwest) hollered at us to "come home!"
I always considered myself an Illinoisan because my ancestors had been there since the 1830s. Once I began researching my family tree, I found that our homes in North Carolina; now Tennessee; were close (like next county over) to the sites of ancestors who took the path of immigration from Virginia to Tennessee to Kentucky and then Illinois. So, we told family "we DID move home!"😁
Please leave the California politics in California 🙏

Where in AZ did you move from? I’m planning to do the same early next year.
Great information! Glad I found your channel! Planning a move to East Tennessee this Spring!
Thanks so much! Let us know if you have any questions or we can help at all with your move!
where did you move to? wheres the gondola? we will visit next fall! so excited!!
Thanks for sharing your new experiences. I Look forward to hear your updates.
Go to timberland park it’s like 30 minutes from Franklin. There’s a dirt trails beautiful. I’m watching it in RUclips now and we are planning to go very soon and to do metal detector too.
Welcome, lived here for 6 years from Mississippi. Love it here in Columbia, Tennessee. Next time your in Nashville come visit our town.
1 year in TN love it
Winter storms are the worst for tornados. My first requirement was a basement, or a storm cellar, that is easy to get in.
Patriot communities are always great.
Remember, famous Bonnaroo there in Manchester , Tn. Maybe you guys might want to visit it sometime. I remember zz top playing there and other big names...even some of the Beatles group. Check out the date for it's opening week.
I’m from Minnesota where tornadoes are common and that’s what you do. When the sirens go off you go outside to check if you can see it
Appreciate everyone moving here and fucking it up
What city did you choose and why?
I lived here all my life in East TN. Never worried about Tornados and I love storms.
My husband and I we are moving to Nashville from Orlando next year, we are excited 🤩 I love Florida but heat 🥵 And We liked Tennessee because there are 4 seasons and a really good food
I also moved here in June 2021 to Chattanooga from Massachusetts. It was an adjustment but I love it here!
So glad you love it here too!! Probably nice to break away from the snow too!
You guys showed up on my feed♥️ I’m from Chattanooga Tennessee
Moved here (Knoxville)25 years ago, love it, love the people, love the culture.
i don't know how I came across your video but I enjoyed it very much. I have lived in TN my whole life. It is a very special place. i live in Cookeville. it is around halfway between Nashville and Knoxville. I just wanted to say congratulations on your move and I am very happy that you enjoy living here. If you ever have any questions for someone who has live here forever feel free to ask :)
Gotta love RUclips! Thank you so much! Do you ever see yourself leaving? We definitely are feeling like there is no reason to ever leave. Like every few months is a whole new beautiful world and the people are just so nice. We'll definitely pick your brain with any questions!
Do you have any insight into how internet is in more rural areas for @LibertyBell?
I am looking to move in the area, would love an insider perspective
I was born and raised in Hawaii and moved to Las Vegas when I turned 21, been living in LV for 16 years and I just can’t get used to that heat. Just visited Knoxville TN and fell in love during last Labor Day weekend. We stayed at pigeon forge and loved the whole strip with the wine tasting and moonshine tasting. We also rode a helicopter through the Smokey mountains and it was so amazing. I ride a motorcycle and would love to ride my bike there. Also checked out Knoxville TN and it was so awesome. I am so open to move to Knoxville the people are so friendly… ahhh I left my heart in TN. Hopefully I can move there soon. I hate VEGAS
Too bad stay over there we have enough ppl
My wife, son and I just got back to Arizona from Tennessee yesterday. We drove a uhaul truck for my parents to Chattanooga and we stayed there for 2 weeks to look around and help them find a house. They're still hunting, and having a heck of a time, but they'll get something eventually! We miss Tennessee tremendously already! We're hoping to move there as well, within the next month or two.
Also, I'm new to y'all's page, just stumbled acrossed it today. I know y'all are from AZ, but what part?? We're currently in Lake Havasu City, just hopefully not for long!! 🤙🏻
What a drive from AZ to TN, huh?! Hope your parents and your hunt is going well too! We lived in the Phoenix area! Went to ASU so we had a few places all around there!
Don’t come here we don’t want you
@@balleraap007 Sucks for you, cus we're heading that way regardless of your worthless opinion. 🤙🏻😅
@@Bullet_In_A_Bonfire too bad you’ll never be a real Tennesseean fraud ahhh boi you bring your crappy leftist ideas here you’ll get smoked
@@balleraap007 My crappy leftist ideas, huh? 😂🤣😂🤣 You have no idea what the hell you're talking about. I currently live in one of the most REPUBLICAN and PATRIOTIC areas in the US. And I LOVE that fact, but too many commie Californians are moving here. I'll vote RED till the day I die, by the way. Before you try to talk trash, at least know what you're talking about and who you're talking to first. 🤙🏻
Be careful! Don't do it
Please don’t move to TN; y’all are driving up our rent and housing prices. Not to mention, there’s a lot of hillbilly’s here.
We just want the best quality of life for our children and Eastern Tennessee is very attractive to us for that aspect.
move fast before it's all gone
Definitely one of the best decisions we've made.
welcome ya'll...you'll pick that up pretty quick!
What part of Tennessee did you guys move to? And were those bad weather experiences life threatening ?
Where was that video taking on the lift going up that mountain during the fall season
It was taken in Gatlinburg! The lift was going up to Anakeesta :)
loved watching this! my husband, daughter and i moved to Alabama from California in february and are loving it! we are just 1.5 hours from Nashville
Ohhh that's awesome! Glad you're loving it too! The change of pace is just so nice and different, huh? We've still not made the trip to Alabama but want to!
Huntsville or Birmingham ?
loved this video! we want to move to TN in the near future, so this was super helpful. also love the way you guys look at each other. i can tell you're so in love! that's really beautiful to see 😭🤍
What are are you home shopping in? We are considering East Tennessee, in the Johnson City, Elizabethton area?
Thanks much for sharing.
Morristown, TN is a great little town, lots of homes for sale here.
How about west tenn?
I'm moving to the Nashville suburbs at the end of the month. I'm in San Antonio so I'm ready for some different seasons.
Wishing you an easy move and we hope you love it, Michael!
Love Tennessee!
So glad for your channel. I am looking into moving from California to Tennessee. Look forward to watching your channel.
Do it! We been here 10 days now
Thank you! Let us know if we can do anything to help you make the move!
So glad you're enjoying it so far! What a fun time to move. It's so beautiful right now!
@@RyanandMelissaPage Thanks for the reply and your wonderful channel!
What about insects, particularly mosquitoes? Are they bad there?
So Happy to see y’all enjoy Our Great State of TN🧡🇺🇸🧡
Our family moved to Franklin(TN) 20 years ago from CA and we have NEVER looked back🙌🏻
Wonderful state and so much to enjoy! Don’t forget Disney World is literally 11 hours away in a car or 1.5 hours away by plane🥰
Let’s Keep Tennessee Great,Please 🇺🇸🙏🏻🇺🇸
What are your likes and dislikes? We are in Oregon and might try and flee the democrats.
What do you love about it? How many months out of the year does jt rain?
@@RisingUnderdog
We fell in love with the Green & Clean & ALL the Wide Open Spaces(land) there was. It has grown quite a bit since 20 years ago… but the State as a whole is still LOVELY. Also coming from Southern California… We Deeply appreciated the slower pace and the hospitality(kindness/friendliness) we constantly encountered… not to mention the southern accents☺️
Our kids were 4 & 8 and the school system was VERY family orientated and respectful to parents. It’s been a few decades and unfortunately some things have changed and aren’t as “small town” as when we arrived. However Franklin TN is still a very special place to live and we’re still here. We do experience all 4 seasons but it does rain all throughout the year. The heaviest rain is during the summertime though. Hope this helps!
Spring and winter kind of blend here. We just call it SPRINTER!
Please don't California my Tennessee. Vote Republican. And welcome to Tennessee!
Don’t vote rino republicans. Vote conservative republicans.
Amen sister 🇺🇸
@@dangercat9188 Amen! In what part of Tennessee do you live? Most of our TN legislature in Nashville are RINO including our governor and speaker of the house 😠 Tennesseans need to pay attention to that but most are not I fear
I bought my East Tennessee retirement cabin a couple years back, and I can't wait to move. I'm a conservative born again Christian from California and a gun owner. I pray TN will be a better fit than CA ever was.
Trust me, no state could become California
You have to try Slick Pig in Murfreesboro. Best smoked wings there are
My whole family and I are looking to relocate out of California. *drowning here* we have been looking at towns in TN and have heard just incredible things about this state. Mt. Julia looks adorable and has a lot of the stuff that reminds us ofCali, but without the crazy high prices and over population, over 400k in my town alone! Not good for my anxiety haha. This video was adorable and super helpful! Thank you guys very much!
We just moved here from Southern Cali and been here 10 days!
Stay tf there we don’t want y’all
