Enterprise 75th Anniversary 1947 - 2022

August 2022 marks 75 years since the Enterprise service that runs between Belfast & Dublin was introduced by the Great Northern Railway (Ireland) on Monday 11th August 1947.
In this video we see some of the anniversary celebrations at Belfast Central / Lanyon Place Station on the Thursday 11th August 2022.
Then we take a look at some of the classes of locomotives & multiple units that have operated the service over the years.
Next we take a look at the interior of the current De Dietrich stock before and after refurbishment.
And finally we see footage of the 201 Class Locos & De Dietrich Stock in action.
