- In this video we see a very rare sight an enterprise calling at Adelaide for the first time in many years.
Here we see the 18:05 Belfast Central to Dublin Connolly Enterprise Service formed by 9002 & 209 calling at Adelaide Station to pick up a group of 25 passengers who were guests of translink.
Adelaide has been my local station since 1998 and in all those years I have not seen a Enterprise train calling at the station to pick up passengers this was a very rare sight however I have seen a enterprise calling at Adelaide to set down passengers in the past but only once.
Years ago. As a temporary measure a short formed DD set (only 4 coaches. Three Standard class plus first plus/DVT serving as standard) would operate certain Connolly to Drogheda services. This stopped when the first 2800 DMU batch entered service. On one occasion there's a record of it operating all stations to Howth Junction because of a late running dart.
Superb stuff matty that would near be the rarest clip not seen that often

Great job Matty :) That generator van is fairly putting out a bit of smoke, that's hardly normal is it?
Thanks the mk3 vans really are getting smoky I believe this is due to them using too much engine oil
