    Thank you so much. I tried my new foot and got a spectacular piece of cloth which will
    make 2 couched sleeve trims. My older Babylock doesn't move side to side but the result
    is still gorgeous.You"ve kept me from screwing up the fabric my first try with your tips!!!

    A ribbon and sequin foot is much better, It has the channel underneath which does not "squash" the yarn down as you stitch. The yarn you're stitching looks very pressed down and that's because of the flat presser foot.
