    Thanks! I got a braiding foot with my new Husqvarna and had no idea what it did.

    You could use a narrow twin needle, but I make sure you test your stitch width manually to make sure you don't hit metal.

    Thanks, great information. The subtitles get in the way of what you are doing in the video and are not necessary. You speak at a good volume and enunciate clearly 🙂

    Hi there! Clear thread was such a pain for me when I started out using it - you're not alone! I always use a metallic needle and reduce the tension. Those two things always take care of the problem. You only want to reduce the tension maybe one number down. If that doesn't help, write us back. We'll figure out what's going on.

    Can you use a twin needle at the same time? I love the whole control concept, a twin with this foot could make life much less stressful and more productive!

    Great video, thanks! Does this braiding foot able to sew RUSSIA BRAID/SOUTACHE ? And if not, can you tell me which foot is good for russia braid or soutache? thanks!

    • @incanada83
      @incanada83 Месяц назад

      @lalolosla, it's hard to tell as both techniques you mentioned require needlework (by hand and preferably no glue). As for this sewing foot, it may be too wide. You could try having a look at cording foot. You could choose which hole to use depending on the cording foot (3, 5, or 7 holes). You can check out variety of sewing feet videos on YT to see what each sewing foot does, or could do. Good luck 🙂

    Would this work to sew trim right next to a seam as in putting piping on baseball pants?

    • @SewingPartsOnline
      @SewingPartsOnline  7 лет назад

      When adding piping, I prefer the piping foot or a zipper foot.

    Hai can i use it with straight sticht? I don't have zig zag sewing machine

    • @SewingPartsOnline
      @SewingPartsOnline  7 лет назад +1

      Hi! This presser foot can be used with a straight stitch only machine. You won't get the same variety as you would with a zig zag machine, but you can still attach ribbon with this foot and your straight stitch.

    I need your help to decide between singer 3505 and brother gs 2700. I have seen the singer 3505 demo and stitch quality is wonderful. I haven't seen brother machines as they ate not in local markets right now. Expected in a months time. I like that singer 3505 has blanket stitch that I may use for applique. Brother doesn't have it. Brother has top loading bobbin vs singer having front load bobbin. Brother speed is 860spm while singer is 750 spm. I am a beginner . Please suggest which one of the two should I buy. If you had to choose between front loading vs top loading bobbin, which one will you choose? Thanks!

      Hello, Div! Thank you for reaching out! I am unable to speak regarding these two models as we do not sell Brother and Singer. I did, however, look into these machines. Both are mechanical. We have a great variety of mechanical machines. Personally, I am a big fan of the Baby Lock Zeal Mechanical Sewing Machine. In answer to your question regarding front loading vs top loading, I generally lean towards top loading. So quick and easy. www.sewingpartsonline.com/baby-lock-bl35b-zeal-mechanical-sewing-machine.aspx If you have any questions about mechanical machines that we carry, our customer service would be delighted to help you. They can be reached at info@sewingpartsonline.com or 888-824-1192.

    The braiding foot SA141 I purchased from sewing parts online did not come in a package; it came in a small zip-lock bag without instructions. I always call to place my order so I will know immediately if the part is in stock. If I call will I be able to have instructions sent to me? Thanks

    Hi
    I have a straight tape which is 3/8th of an inch. that will be 9.5 mm? Will this foot work?
    Regards,
    Shereen

    • @SewingPartsOnline
      @SewingPartsOnline  6 лет назад

      Hello Nuz. I am sorry, but the recommendation is 5mm wide or less. We would not suggest straight tape that is 9.5mm. I would suggest using a bias tape binding foot for that type of tape. You can view that foot below:
