the dynamic between satoru gojo and suguro geto is amazing. easily one of my favorite anime character dynamics. toji vs gojo was also an amazing anime fight, jujutsu kaisen season 2 just keeps getting better, toji vs geto was also a delight, geto killed riko, and i can't wait to see jujutsu kaisen season 2 shibuya arc.

Honestly, I understand Geto’s feelings…he was questioning why he was constantly killing and consuming cursed spirits over and over and who was he doing it for… jujutsu sorcerers weren’t being thanked for what they were doing…they weren’t being thanked for the protection they were giving…and just like the little girls, if anything bad happened, the sorcerers were the one who automatically took the blame for it…even if they didn’t do it…the sorcerers were killing, suffering, dieing, seeing their friends and comrades die off…the sorcerers are stuck in that endless cycle just to protect the non-sorcerers…they protect the non-sorcerers who are create curses and the ones who creat the endless cycle of suffering and exorcising and death that the sorcerers live in…the non-sorcerers don’t get anything good out of them…so why are they protecting the non-sorcerers?? What reason is there? Geto was thinking this…it didn’t make any sense for him to continue protecting them…protecting them didn’t do any good and it didn’t bring any good…the sorcerers were just stuck in an endless loop going nowhere and achieving nothing
Agree, But Geto should have taken another road to solve it. Well, like eliminating the main source of why those people got cursed spirit in the first place rather than just trying to kill all non-sorcerers. It just impossible and seems illogical to do that in many aspects of life....

@@excusemequeencomingthrough7684 curses are made from such high levels of negativity coming from the humans…if all the humans could their negative feelings and emotions(which would be pretty impossible)then maybe it would lessen the amount of curses but it wouldn’t completely get rid of them…Yuki’s idea seems pretty impossible as well…Geto’s is the only other option that seems possible even if it is cruel

Not all of sorcerers excel at some tasks (doing electrical, status, food, economy). I'm talking about the big things over here, I mean killing billions of human? and the option eliminating all people seems doesn't make sense. Unless if they put the logic aside, I guess that's going to work.
@@1213kiraElimination of cursed energy doesn’t seem that impossible. Manga spoilers but curse energy is not extremely prevalent world wide and cursed spirits are rare globally except for Japan. It’s more possible to lessen cursed energy than killing all non-sorcerers (which mind you can just be randomly born into sorcerer families)

the crazy thing is this was all foreshadowed, gojo said himself he had all the strength in the world but he didnt have enough strength to save anybody close to him wayyyy back

Gojo gets sealed in prison realm,Nanami and Nobara get killed by Mahito,Maki and her grandfather get burned alive (maki still survives) I'm pretty sure mechamaru betrays everyone,Toji meets megumi and kills himself, Nitta almost gets killed, Yuji almost loses his fighting spirit,Geto reveals that he isn't actually geto but instead a jujutsu sorcerer from the past called kenjaku.Choso is Kenjaku's son but the twist is that Kenjaku was also Yuji's mom (making them half brother) which absolutely traumatised choso,Jogo dies by crying after talking to sukuna, Nanami's close friend gets killed and it makes him go on a rampage,Todo loses an arm, Hanami gets killed by gojo,Mahito get's killed by Todo and Itadori (w/ the help of Nobara and Nanami) and sukuna takes over Yuji's body and causes mass destruction.

I am absolutely convinced that Geto's final words to Gojo were 'I love you'. Considering the movie, the theme, the music, the dichotomy of the characters in the way they are created, Gojo being Geto's downfall, it is the only thing that makes sense. (I am not going to argue that it is romantic or plantonic, I don't care, the dynamic between these two is just perfect.)

Geto didn't want to kill the sect members, as Gojo suggested that they should, because the only purpose of killing them would be revenge. Geto could see through this shallow purpose and didn't want to kill them.
Geto changed however, as he understood that his fellow comrades run into death, because of those without knowledge and power, on multiple levels. That those are below him and his people on an evolutionary view point.
He wanted to create a better world and the best version of Humanity.
