March 19th, 2021 Stage IIIA Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (Non-Smoking)
February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung and lymph nodes)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS: Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Chemotherapy
10 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
6 with Carboplatin, 4 without
Targeted Brain Radiation (Completed)
CURRENT TREATMENT:
I am on a clinical trial for my specific gene mutation
The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
family.

I believe the natural way is the right way to go for so many, & detoxing the body will create a balance in all parts.
There was an English lady Felicity Corbin Wheeler who was a retired state registered nurse, she was diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer & decided not to participate in chemo because her daughter of 20 years old died from the effects of chemo.
She researched The Gershon Therapy & went to thr Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida, who specialized in this therapy.
It comprises of green juicing & caffeine colonic irrigation under nursing care. It took several months there & Felicity gradualky detoxed the cancer from her system. Then she went to the Oasis of Hope Christian Hospital in Mexico city for a blood oxygenating treatment under Dr Contreras.
She made a full recovery & returned to the UK, she started her own courses following the Gershon therapy in Jersey & Spain & also recommending eating raw organic vegetables.
She wrote a book about it "Get Well Stay Well" & had a weekly slot on Revelation Christian tv network broadcast from Spain.
She passed couple years aho in her 80's from a different health problem, but lived vibrantly & positively.

You guys inspire me every day. I am 74 with stage C congestive heart failure and stage 4 kidney failure. I don’t feel well that often. But I have started PT for my balance issues, and am more faithful about doing my exercises daily because you inspire me! I have already lived much longer than you, but I’m still not ready to go. And you keep me going. And your love for your family inspires me. Kyle you are amazing. You are lighting up the world. These videos will always be a remedial class in how to support your loved ones through illness. Great respect and love for all of you courageous fighters.

I don’t know what your health issues are, but I can say there are lots of different support groups on Facebook. I was in a chronic pain face group, but then they had to quit having it right as the pandemic was starting. That wasn’t the reason they had to stop. It just happened to correlate the same time. The pandemic closed everything down in March 2020 for Pain Group where we would meet together also had to close down.
I am in several chronic pain Facebook groups. It’s nice to know you’re not alone, in whatever issue you have.

Yes when your chronically ill you see all of ppl all the time it’s exhausting. I have chronic illness and I have an appointment like once a week or so.
I suspect it's different in America. At least it does seem as though patients have to do a lot more running around. Different hospitals for different tests etc. Then to yet other places for treatment. I've heard people even have to organize most of it themselves, too.
In my country you simply go to your nearest hospital, and everything is done there. Plus they organize all of it for you. You don't have to do any of it yourself.
The difference between a public and a private healthcare system I guess. I would not like the private system way of doing it. Too much pressure on the patient IMO.

Kyle is as amazing as my hubby. They're rare and we are lucky. Huge Disney fans, we love to eat out, we love toys and love the child within ourselves. We now have grandchildren, although almost grown lol we all still love all things fun, adventurous, and never get tired of the toy section in any store lol. Jenny I have looked for a word to describe you. Amazing doesn't do you justice. You are the strongest person I've seen. I've been sick over 2 years. My husband abandoned our disabled son and me. I've had an infection since July and my primary cares office closed. I've been without a doctor. None of what I'm going through is close to what you are but watching you so happy and living life. While I feel life being sucked out of me. I cry for my son who's father has ignored him since he left. He shut his cell phone off and I just watch and see your husband and family's support. It gives me hope. You pick me up. I've been trying to write you a letter but I get so exhausted. May God keep blessing you and you keep your great attitude and know you are no doubt helping so many others who are barely hanging on. Props to your hubby. What a great man he is. You are an inspiration to everyone who is following you that whatever is going on good or not so good that LIFE is so worth fighting for. It doesn’t matter wether you have young children or your kids are adults and you have grandchildren being as present as you can for as long as you can is good for all of your mental health as well as physical health. Also you Kyle are an amazing man doing what you are doing for everyone. But I agree with your therapist that occasionally YOU need to spend time with your friends and family to. You all are terrific. Love you all and I pray 🙏🏻 every night ( my time) that you are having a safe and happy day and every morning (my time) that you are able to have a comfortable nights rest. I want to tell you something from the point of view of someone who lost a parent when I was 5. It was a heart attack and was so sudden and tbh was dealt with badly. My dad was wiped from my life and it had a terrible impact on my long term mental health (better now but hell it's taken a long time). It's horrible to get cancer but it has given you the gift of a little time to prepare your children and leave them these wonderful videos. It will make a difference to them trust me, though it's dreadful for them right now, your honesty and love will carry them through. Your husband will keep you alive, you will always be in their hearts . Sending loving kindness to you all.

I’m just praising the Lord for this. In a recent video I recall the two of you talking about an eye test and you mentioned to each other that Jenny wouldn’t be needing one again. Little did we all know what God had in store. It’s so lovely to see y’all’s beautiful much deserved smiling faces!
Hi, my name is Jennifer and i have been following your story for quite some time, and you are one brave soul. I admire your strength, and Kyle you are an amazing husband! When i was 28, i battled cervical cancer with metastatic to lungs. I was married with 2 children ages 7 and 3. After having an internal radioactive implant placed for 72 hours, it was removed. Followed with 25 pelvic radiation treatments and 4 chemo sessions. A year later when discovering it traveled to the lungs i went thru 6 chemotherapy sessions. Ive been in remission for 20 years. I am 49 now and just found out my cervical cancer has returned. My children are grown and now a grandmother of 5. I will be undergoing 6 sessions of chemotherapy in about a week. Carboplatin, pactitaxel, keytruda and avastin. I am a positive person but when i have moments of doubt and i fear the unknown, i just grab my phone, go to utube and watch your story. You are truly and inspiration. I pray for you and Kyle and your 2 beautiful children and wish you all the very best🙏😘.

@@132allie good point, it's generous of spirit to think of others when it's unlikely you'll benefit, cancer is such a horrendous disease. Although some of the new treatments involving targeted therapies are an incredible scientific achievement, instead of toxic chemotherapy they can now 'tune' your immune system to target the particular cancer and fight it

The hospital that I work at has applause's, that patients can give to employees for recognition for excellent conduct. I'm sure if you go to the website and look for a employee or patient tab, their should be something like that. Best of luck Jenny and I hope it helps. 🙂

That’s is so awesome that the sercuity guard found your camera! My daughter that passed in July, left her laptop in a mall shopping cart. She was afraid to tell me! ❤😂So a couple days later she told me, I freaked out that she didn’t tell me sooner. But, thankfully a nice security guard found it. ❤❤❤I said the same thing “there are still good people out there or out here. ❤❤❤happy ending.

It was funny, I was at Mayo Jacksonville FL yesterday visiting a patient and there was a seminar in the auditorium...someone left a printout in the lobby featuring a cancer trial at.... City of Hope Hospital! I thought , "I personally know a patient there, even though it's on the other side of the country"..I was so proud I knew Jenny Apple
