I love the Make Market “blue” wax. It looks clear, doesn’t make a mess, easy to refill your pen, and it lasts fairly long.
Make Market were my first introduction to diamond painting! So glad to see these featured on your channel. I love the Almond Blossoms, I might have to get that one 😅💜
The 4x6 can be glued to blank card fronts
I bought a set of the coasters and the bookmarks so I could have little quick and easy projects to work on during my lunch hour at work. They are simple, colorful, and of decent quality! Where the dragon you showed was snack sized, the kits I picked up were an amuse bouche!
I bought the Make Market Butterfly painting and it came with ABs and it was such a nice surprise. I wasn't expecting such an inexpensive kit to have special drills.
I literally just finished the bookshelf the week before last. It’s one of my favorite pieces!

My 1st was a gift a red knome and I purchased I have several after... the mini kit of 6 butterflies, the old time red telephone booth and the solar system.
Im really glad you bought these. I bought the entire set of their version of the minis. I am curious about the difference between the Michaels version and the Paint Gem Minis version. Is there any chance you would be willing to do a side by side comparison review between the two?

I think the almond blossoms and the dragon are my favorites. I like the idea of the mermaid design but I don’t foresee that going well for me at all lol.
I agree they have the diamond Dotz vibe. I have a few of their kits, but haven’t worked on one yet. They DO sparkle!

This is really interesting I’m gonna have to look into it. My favorite was the books
“and this one... it's just a dragon” I think being a dragon kit is a good enough reason to buy it lol these are amazing! For the first time ever I found dp kits on a store where I live (brazil) which is amazing because we only have aliexpress and overcharged dropshipping options here. I was so happy!! Unfortunately there aren't square kits but I hope they bring those too bc they're my favorites.

I recently completed a butterfly on pink flowers. It was my first Make Market. I was impressed how good it looked, so much nicer than the cheaper budget friendly canvases. Even my husband was quite impressed on how the colours popped. He really liked it. The next two that I'm hoping to purchase soon is the Tiger and the Jaguar.
The books is my favorite of the 5 you showed.
I don't get to Michael's in person very often because of where I live, but I was at one last month and was impressed with their selection of the Make Market diamond painting kits. I've ordered some online in the past, and just ordered some (including two from your video). I like the selection of sizes because it's nice to have some small ones to take a break from a big kit with. It's nice that the store I was at had a lot of kits, and the price is good, so hopefully it will draw more people to the craft.
I was so excited to got to Michael’s when visiting my family over Christmas and I picked up Almond Blossoms! Trying to get ready for Summer with the Masters! I almost got the dragon one too. Thanks for sharing your haul!
This brand was my first it was called Tiger and it was amazing so detailed and sparkled! Every bit the quality for sure nice price and so worth more than the price absolutely 💯
I have done Starry Night that I had the frame option. It looks pretty. I got these as my beginner paintings.

I am working on one right now! It’s called Red Truck! I got it last year. I agree that they are equivalent to Diamond Dotz, yet more affordable. I didn’t realize they were expanding into other options of paintings. Thanks for sharing!

I have almost finished all of the plant diamond paintings. I gave two of these to my niece for her birthday (framed). I was so happy with how that turned out (and so was she!). I recently picked up another set of four world landmarks - those are full rather than partial. I was bummed about the lack of DMC codes too.
My favorites are the almond blossoms and the bookshelf. Given the price point, I might be able to join Summer with the Masters for the first time.
i went to the Michael's website and bought the book DP immediately lol the mermaid double-adhesive one might be a good idea for the lid of my Kobalt toolbox!

I saw that mermaid one but wasn’t sure what it was so glad you shared, I have also made some kits from make market I did the lake forest which is just basically confetti 😵💫. I took multiple brakes but I did finish. I like the ones that come with the hanging frame just wish they were bigger.
I have one and my brother and I found that the plastic is actually 2 pieces. At least mine is. It's a peacock. It's still in my stash. I'm scared of it lol. But I think that's why it says multiple sided.
Even though they don’t include dmc they are usually in dmc order so that’s a helpful tool. I would use the art dot chart to help figure out the color code.
I got one of the sticker kits from Make Market. Mine, like yours, did not have a plastic cover like I thought it was supposed to have. I do not feel that there is enough glue in the tiny dropper bottle to create the sticky on the front. So, I placed the drills on the sticker side and took away the option to make it a sticker sheet.
I finally bought my first DAC and am a bit intimidated by the size. Now I’m wishing I had tried these. I will check them out for summer with the masters!
I agree with you 💯 i bought the book case shelf. Have yet to do it. I think make market has such good paintings at an affordable price. 📚💎 btw I also dont like the red symbols.
I just bought the same one with the glue and sealer, the butterflies and thought the same thing! What is this!? 😁 I Love the crystals. It's hard to peel the cover sheet back but there's a section on the top that helps. I got one side flattened by peeling off part of the sticker part and reapplying flat. Only do one half at a time though. Michael's keeps sending me coupons and I have to use them 😂 Love Make Market DP's ❤❤

I so wish my Michaels had these. I dont understand because its a brand new store. Anyway, I ordered the Van Gogh and a different flowers one. I got the one with the colorful flowers and its six of them too. I cant wait to try this. Paint Gem is next!

I’m currently working on a big Make Maker kit. It’s a pretty red cardinal on a branch in the snow.
The canvas is a bit stiff compared to DAC’s. So far I haven’t run into any issues.
I prefer doing square paintings and have yet to see a Make Maker with them. Has anyone else?

I did Primroses by Make Market early on and really enjoyed it. I’ll take a red symbol over a blurry white one any day. I’m intrigued by the Van Gogh kit. Really rather pretty! The mermaid one is a fun idea….but naw. I think I’ll pass.

I don't understand why anyone would buy these diamond paintings. They are just about as expensive as DAC"s.
Really... if she spent $50 for 5 canvases at Michael's... that $10/each. $50 might get you one small canvas at DAC. you'll never get a DAC close to $10... unless you use all your points and pay for shipping.
