Respect to Francis, he has an impossible task to do. Dusty was so much more than a bass player. He was a great singer and had that amazing stage presence and swagger. I always thought that Michael Anthony would fit the bill quite well, providing he wouldn't mind to grow a beard.

They lack power and they are slightly off in some occasions.
If you don't hear, see and feel that I don't think you truely enjoyed them back in the time when they were complete.
No one can replace Dusty, but damn, Francis does an amazing job.

Yea it sounds like the vocals are a pre recorded version that have been autotuned, and he's lip syncing with it.

Good to see Elwood gaining confidence in performing. He knew he was filling huge shoes and didn't presume to be another Dusty, but he looks right at home there now.
So sad, all vocals are from tape. The new trend. Time to retire….
I worked with zz top with robin guitars making guitars for them there not as good as they once were still a good band but billy is not as fast with his solos as he once was.
God this takes me back love ZZ TOPP always have always will. They part of the best in my time and still are.

Of all the bands I’ve listened to in my 50 years of life, it’s ZZ Top that I contagiously listen to. I find myself listening to their songs, then I’ll rewind just to hear the song again because I’m not ready to be done with the song after 3 or 4 minutes. 🎸🎸🎸

My first concert was July 1991 at the Inglewood Forum. Elwood was there making it happen for Izzy with the rest of the techs and stage workers.
Billy and Frank have been doing this for 45 years you got to respect that.

You need to listen to more people bubba. The best ever lol hahahaha. Try Jeff Beck with Tal n Vinnie uh that's just a start. Joe Bonamasa the Beatles the Rolling Stones, Little Feat. The list goes on. ZZ is great, Billy is a great guitar player. He can play a huge variety of styles cause I've seen him do it really close in a guitar repair shop n he's really good. But not the best band ever

I’m disappointed in the choice of this bass player, Elwood. Mediocre at best. Ugh…. Billy could have chose just about anyone. His looks are ok but his bass playing is horrible. He looks so stiff like he’s going to break on stage.
