Thank you! I just inherited the CRV001 from my Mom & I'm looking forward to using it with my kiddos to make fun projects to share with her! Can anyone recommend what kinds of adhesive papers to use & is anyone aware of cartridge lots for sale at reasonable prices ? Happy crafting to ALL!
That's great. I hope that you have fun with it. You can use any type of sticky back paper, contact paper from dollarstore, vinyls, regular sticker paper (Dollarama). For cartridges keep your eyes open facebook marketplace, kijiji, ebay etc. Just make sure they have not already been linked by previous owner. TFW.

I bought a Cricut CRV001 at a rummage sale. I just watched your video. How do I make cuts for signs I’m making. It didn’t come with a mat? I didn’t know I needed one? Can I still use my machine?
I was given one of the old circuits with the date if 2006 on the users manual. It looks like the one you were using. It didn't come with a mat, cartridge, or even a cord. Would you know where or how I could find these items? You said something about making a mat. How? Thank you for the video.
Can that machine get hooked up to a computer. It has a spot on the back for a computer cord but i dont know if it would work with a computer. I no longer have the cord that would go in that slot but would look into buying one if a computer can be used with it.
Good video! I just got my second machine off Ebay after having a new one for 15 years. So I have accrued about 20 cartridges. The machine seems to work as it should..all except for the cutting of the paper. I am interested in the blade and blade housing as I believe that to be the problem and am wondering if there is an exact way to install? I feel like I am missing something. Cricut no longer supports this model so your video is great for beginners!
Hi, the good news is that the blades are still available from Cricut and others sources. The blades get dull over time so it's completely normal that you need to change them. And yes, it's easy. By the way, there are three types of blades too, regular, deep cut, and fabric. They all use the same housing! Hope this helps. TFW.
If you rewatch the video at 9:44 or so I show the housing. Keep pressing down on the top so the blade comes out that's what you replace. I hope I explained that correctly. LOL
@@Annmakes It's a great video and I understand it completely. I am wondering if a deep cut blade will make a difference. I may order one from Amazon and give it a shot. Thanks for the prompt reply.

Have you made any other videos about the CRV001?
badly need help with this machine getting frustrated with it
I just got this same cutter at a Goodwill. Never knew anything about cutters before. I want to make stickers sheets for my clients to keep up with their appointments with me. How would I make sticker sheets with this cutter?
TFW.
Thank you for this video and the good close ups I just bought this second hand to make money to afford the Cricut Maker. Thanks for sharing the good content!
Hi, thank you so much for watching and commenting. I am so happy that this is helpful. Best of luck to you in your new business endeavours! BTW I saw the 6" wide mats at JoAnn's in the US! TFW.
This video is so helpful! Are you still able to buy cartridges for this machine anywhere? I’d love to add more to my collection.
Unfortunately not. Try Ebay. TFW
Thanks, great video! ty While she is describing something she mentions that we can use this machine with the compter? how do I find out how? thankls ty
I personally used to use my old printer cable to connect it to my computer or laptop, and Cricut design space online, but it has been ages ago

Do you know where I might pick up the little booklet and manual for the original cricut? I purchased mine just the Cricut, no books came with it.
Is it possible to make more than one line, so as to separate words? I mean like IGNORE IN TRAINING on two lines?
I bought a Cricut CRV001 at a rummage sale. I just watched your video. How do I make cuts for signs I’m making. It didn’t come with a mat? I didn’t know I needed one? Can I still use my machine?
Thanks for the instruction. I pick my Cricut up at a yard sale so I don’t have a cutting mat where can I get one?
Glad I found you ,I’m thinking of buying one on market place ,anything I should be aware of ?😍Thank you for your help ❤️👍

Can you tell me how I can make spice jar labels using this machine please Thank you
This is the one I have and I have a ton of cartridges!
Hi Thank you for this video. It is very helpful. Do you have a Cricut joy?
I was given one of the old circuits with the date if 2006 on the users manual. It looks like the one you were using. It didn't come with a mat, cartridge, or even a cord. Would you know where or how I could find these items? You said something about making a mat. How? Thank you for the video.
I appreciate your video. A lot of information-
Glad it was helpful!
I was gifted this cricut and I need to order a charger. Can you tell me what the name is?
can you use any sort of computer software for this cricut? or can you only use the cartidges? i just aqcquired this machine from a friend.
Great video!
Can that machine get hooked up to a computer. It has a spot on the back for a computer cord but i dont know if it would work with a computer. I no longer have the cord that would go in that slot but would look into buying one if a computer can be used with it.
I m not sure. TFW.
Thanks, looking into buying one, this really helped.
Hola donde puedo conseguir los cartuchos para escribir nombres y que sean de varios tipos de fuentes, me puede ayudar porfavor
This was so helpful! Had to subscribe to your channel
Just got one thanks where to buy more cartridges I enjoy the class
Hi Ann. I only have the green manual Cricut machine, not an electronic newer one. Would you please make some videos for Cricut Cuttlebug please? Thank you for your time 😊
Hi. Anna. I do have a video check out the Cricut playlist. TFW.
Hello is there a sharpie adapter for the CRV001 and where can I buy a replace blade. Thank you
Oh my god great video.. My aunt just give me hers... Now that I saw your video I'm not so scared. Thank you taking the time...😁
Hi, Nicole. TFW. I hope that your Aunt had some cartridges too, as that will be a lot of fun! Enjoy your new toy, ahem tool.
@@Annmakes she did I'm so exited to use the cartridges.. Love you videos..
@@nicolesheartbeat947 do you have to have cartridges in order to use it?
Thank you! That was helpful!
You're welcome!

I used this scrapbooking for my daughter when she was little! She’s 17 now, and I still have it but haven’t used it in over 10 years...I may bust it out!
Will this one make soap labels?!
I have the original Cricut. I only have a few cartridges. I found mine at Big Lots years ago. It was brand new in the box. I think I paid $50.00 for it.
Thank you for this video
Thank you I needed to see that video, now I can take it out the box 😁😁
