I am 67 and remember the libraries of my childhood having illustrated books of Venus. They pictured ferocious dinosaur type animals growling at each other. I'm so pleased that I didn't misrember or make it up completely. Thanks for the download
As mentioned, Venus and Uranus spin opposite of the other planets. A good way to remember this is to note they are the only planets that end with "nus". Think, Non Usual Spin.
That's great. Just one of so many things of the universe that proves all the matter did *not* come from an expansion because of no mind. It is illogical.

I failed again and again to watch this great documentary till the end because I fell asleep every time I tried to watch it. I'm actually happy in a way. I get to watch it again and again... The narrator was born for this absolute masterpiece.
OMG! You too!? I love him. I created a list of all space documentaries I could find of him narrating and those have been part of my bed time routine for months! I love him and the subject matter is amazing.
Your voice and timing of your words are amazing. I could easily listen to you talk about anything for hours, I’m just lucky you’re talking about the universe. Thank you.
It’s weird how a good space documentary will make you feel like you’re floating above, observing it all; the imagery, the pan and zoom of the camera, ambient music, a good voice Plus this was informative af
I would so very much like to know who this marvelous narrator is and who wrote the script for this unspeakably wonderful video. It is beautifully written and beautifully produced.
I was just about to say that🙏 Awesome document filled with information and narrator has really microphonic voice and also his precise accent helps with understanding.. This is good for people that start to learn English language👍
This is for all humankind to see, learn and develop good will and international cooperation for the exploration of Earth and the planets for the benefit of ALL!
I also agree that the details, level of research, and the absolute honesty is amazing. Not many straight admit that they are in many ways making educated guesses essentially. That they are doing the best they can with what they got. I absolutely respect this, because this is what science truly is. One of the best documentaries.
Very little is actually known as facts ! Our textbooks are mostly fiction with many assumptions based on opinions ! Cities now underwater are from the age before the ice age melted and none are talked about because they were over 12,000 old ! We were supposed to be living in caves and hunter gatherers 10,000 years ago so ancient cities are ignored by academia !
But what if, aliens actually made the pyramids? What if aliens gave aztects devices? What if aliens visit earth with no clear evidence? What if there are aliens among us? Lol jk
i'm amazed there are so many stupid pp in the world. in the future some pp woul not know how to breath on their own. everytime i hear some scientist say this planet is... years old, or this bone is ... years old i die a bit on the inside. the carbon dating is not correct as a instrument of measure, nor is the stupid stupid app for knowing your ancestors or the poligraph or the IQ scale. but they don't put ''we assume'' before they give out all the numbers, and so the new generation only take the numbers as fact so the ''we assume'' gets lost so in the future you will be burnt like a witch if you say it's not true.
I'm listening to this until I fall asleep. This, Jupiter and Saturn. The part where he talks about Titan makes me feel like I'm actually there. I've been listening to that video every night for like 3 years now and I have no idea how it ends. 1. What's the name if the narrator pls? And 2. Put him in more of these. Absolutely the best. Ty for uploading!
Terrific! It bounced between planets alot back and forth and it was a little off path preachy about political and financial obstacles toward the end . but still terrific! Narrator could be Hal from 2001 Space Odyssey lol.
Life on this planet is on the edge of a knife. Change is in no way dependent on our BS. It will happen and millions of years either. It only took as few as 75 years for an ice age to break out in full swing... without our influence. What a great and relaxing vid just the same. 🙃
I think half of these views are from me! Seriously though this narrator is my fave! Really relaxing to fall asleep to, and I mean that as a compliment! 😄
When I hear about interesting things about the universe, it excites me and motivates me to learn more about it. But the voice in the video made me fall asleep without even realizing it
What clever inertia! The movements of the planets are explained in various theories with the participation of some inertia. So the rotation of all the planets around the Sun in one direction is provided by a certain force and inertia. The daily rotations of the planets in one direction around their own axes are again first provided by a certain force and subsequent inertia. Doesn't the assumption arise about a certain medium that the Sun rotates and thereby rotates the planets around itself in one direction? And the environment with its layers rotates in one direction rotates the planets around their axes. I note that the closer the planet is to our star, the faster it revolves around the Sun. And the larger the diameter of the planet, the faster it rotates through the layers of the medium around its own axis. The patterns are there.
Its amazing that mercury moved past everything to park itself next to the sun without screwing up the entire system. It would be nice to see a model of this happening.
Excellent documentary to understand the complexity of habitable zone around the Sun. This is a must see for all students regardless of their curriculas to get an understanding of the importance of space research. I must add here that the captivating smooth voice of the narrator made this documentary one of the best to watch with full concentration. Thank you for this invaluable experience.
God allow humanity to have the pleasure of these explorations so we can see how small we are but how great the Creator-God is....I just love God each moment I watch these. God ensures ALL things work together for our good even out in space. How sweet 🤩😍🥰😇

If the Big Bang is true shouldn’t every planet spin in the same direction?

Part of making a good documentary is having an excellent narrator. This gentleman nails it.
He's not allowed to speak at dinner. Too great a risk that everyone gets sleepy while eating 😢

No. Gravity doesn't work like that. Venus and uranus orbit in the opposite direction and needs nothing of what you suggested to so so.
Its amazing that mercury moved past everything to park itself next to the sun without screwing up the entire system. It would be nice to see a model of this happening.
Mercury is such a small planet though. It wouldn't do a lot of damage.
Mercury is quite tiny and the solar system is quite big. It would be amazing if tiny Mercury changed anything during its passage
It’s amazing that the suns gravitation did not pull Mercury apart.
And that it is Venus not mercury that has lost all its atmosphere due to the gravitational pressure exerted on it.
I did some further reaserch on this, and never mind I’m an idiot, I got it wrong random RUclips comment.
