The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is a prestigious institution renowned for its stellar academic reputation, innovative research, and rich history. Situated in the heart of sunny Los Angeles, it has established itself as a global leader, offering a dynamic learning environment and unparalleled opportunities for scholars and students alike.
-- The first library that we are going to explore today, Powell Library, is an iconic and historic institution, at the heart of the vibrant campus. With its stunning architecture and rich history, it's the main library for undergraduates. Although partially closed for seismic improvement until early 2024, we are still able to capture the beautiful interior and share with you in the video.
-- The other library that we explore today is Charles E. Young Research Library. Located on the northeast end of campus, the YRL is a hub of intellectual exploration. Named after UCLA's longest-serving chancellor, it houses research-level collections in humanities and social sciences. Designed in the Mid-Century Modern style, it's a dynamic center for learning, research, and discovery.

Oh I didn't know about the birthplace of "Fahrenheit 451" was the UCLA Powell library! Apparently Ray Bradbury ignites our imagination with a world where books are banned. I like the idea of naming a Cafe 451☕

Exactly! It is a bit ironic that the book is banned for its exploration of censorship
