Places like this are why I was drawn to live in Boston after college. It’s the only US city built on knowledge, not business. And it’s booming with info tech, biotech, IP law, and medicine, because knowledge IS business, now.

Thank you.) I am not enthusiastic about libraries. I was not with them for a long time. But for me, as for most Ukrainians, the library is like another source of knowledge. We are one of the oldest nations in our region of Eastern Europe. And we were robbed many times. This... It is very difficult to realize how much knowledge and information we have lost... That's why we are so angry. It hurts the heart. I... It's really hard to realize that we have lost so many old books... Books that we may not see in print... But we try to reassure ourselves that we can always make new ones, the main thing is that we survive.

Share food with the homless and never lie. reverse all lies ever told very important for the soul. Tell elder's to provide food for the poor and be a food servant and do this in person .lieing costs our soul

I love walking in the Bryant Park, it's wonderful to enjoy some green space in downtown Manhattan. But I'd never imaginced they host millions of books underneath the park!! That's so cool!!

Princeton Public Library has a great store, just inside the front doors. Labyrinth Books carried my biography of Princeton enslaved woman, who sailed around the world before 1826, She Calls Herself Betsey Stockton (Wipf&Stock, Jan. 2022) researched for 40 years and won two NJ historical prizes!

Thank you for this video. I used to do research at this library when I was lawyer. Yes, it is so special - right in the heart of the City yet still unknown.

I must have my record 100% cleared as well as all mentions of me removed from online before I can work at a library (the ONLY place I will EVER accept work as it is the place you are least likely to run into extremist rednecks since they do not read). I live in Huntington Beach and my favorite feature is the most extensive used book shop (run by the Friends of the Library) that I have ever visited. I can feed my booking habit for a fraction of the cost 😂. Thanks for featuring our little oasis!
