The guy in the back of the sprinter at the end 😂😂😂😂
He didn't look too proud.
That got me too 🤣🤣
Well the carpets are bit wet now.
😂
illegal immigrant
It's only 3 foot........yeah, OK mate !.
Yet more proof of how thick and ignorant some people are......
Yeah only the maximum official wading depth of a new defender, why wasn't a honda crv fine I wonder?
He said less than 3 foot. Unfortunately a lot of people buy those crossovers but don’t realise they are nothing more than a tall standard car. The intakes are often no higher than the bottom of the bumper/wheel arch.
Gosh, so many big trucks on what looks like a quiet residential area. Excellent video. Thank you!
Short cut
It’s a short cut, they are trying to drive up profit, if you look that road is actually closed but they just literally drive over the cones and road closed signs. They couldn’t care less arrogant gits.
@@marksapollowhere do they turn around you pure pipe
7:51 I guess he didn’t Seedat the water was that deep 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
6:00 - good decision from the Audi
The dingy man sitting in the back of the sprinter though 😂
😂
Nice that you’re laughing at those who allow you to make money out of their misery
@@hamwicbi1265 *stupidity
"I saw that it was less then 3 foot..."
Yeh but the flood depth of your car is only 3 inches!
I often wonder if these drivers have given any thought to what may have washed into the street. Logs, cement blocks and the like.
Brilliant video dude
😂All those big rigs must be taking a shortcut to avoid a toll booth or something.
The sprinter that used water to rip its bumper off 😂
You should make up a compilation of EVs going through, just for comparison. I've seen the one of the Teslas at Rufford ford, but there are quite a lot of assorted EV crossings captured on video now.
I was just thinking of the same thing, also imagine what will happen to the EV if that water someohow gets into those batteries?
@@amerpol1979 I was thinking the opposite. The EVs *always* get through. Even the MG4 that *swam* part of the way through the Buttsbury Wash appears to be unscathed. There's a Jag on a recent compilation, and one vid has two EVs - one of them a BT Openreach van.
EVs are designed to be driven in the pouring rain, through puddles and minor floods. They're far more resistant to water than ICE cars, because all the electrics are thoroughly waterproofed, and they don't have an air intake. The thing I'd be most worried about would be getting the carpets soaked. Or maybe getting swept away, because the damn things tend to float.
There's a video somewhere of a Renault Zoe that sat parked in a flood for 12 hours being driven away as if nothing had happened, and although it needed a lot of drying out it was fine a year later. ICE cars caught in the same flood were written off.
A compilation of assorted EVs (not just Teslas) going through various fords would be a nice come-back to people who say things like "EVs and water don't mix" or "what would happen if water got into the battery?" They are built so that water does not get into the battery. (Although what would happen if it did, I'm not sure. The way to put *out* an EV battery fire is to submerge it in large quantities of water.)
@@moragkerr9577 That's right they have them water tight, I did forget about it, since there is no need for open Air intake like in combustion vehicle, as long as there is no electrical shortage caused by water than they be fine, I don't know much about EV's and I only driven a Tesla once, I guy told me they have air fans to cool the Batteries down when they get hot so thats why I thought if going through deep water could would somehow affect its operation, Thanks for the info.
@@amerpol1979 I don't think the battery is going to get hot if it's in river water! And if they were susceptible to water causing things to short out you couldn't drive them in the rain.
When I was in a discussion about the swimming MG4 people were concerned about the oil breather which might be quite low down, and the battery breather - but that's high up, in the highest part of the boot above the wheel arch. And just generally, who knows what might happen. But it seems that car was OK, and I suppose since it floated, water wasn't getting in the door seals in massive quantities either. It was only in the water for about 20 seconds, of course. It's here - it's quite the spectacle.

Someone else on one of these videos said he'd seen a Tesla in so deep the water was high up the windscreen and it still drove on. We get so much crap from the anti-EV brigade about EVs being dangerous in water. A compilation of EVs going through these floods would be quite nice to link to when that nonsense starts. And it would just be quite fun. All those idiots driving their perfectly ordinary cars far too fast into deep flood water - and they just drive out the other side, perfectly OK! Since you usually can't tell it's an EV at the start of the clips, it's often amusing.
Dude there is nothing I love more than all those anti - EV braindeads watching EVs clown ICE cars in a flood and not knowing what to say.
If the driver drive slower does it help the flooding? These are amazing images
No, people driving through slowly will make no difference. It'll be due to a either a ford river flood due to poor drainage systems/used up flood plains or poor culvert management. The cars only make the water move around temporarily for a while within that small vicinity
@screekid so ford cars is causing flood? Doesn't not astra or Mercedes cause flood to?
@@SHOCKcustoms I'm not sure if this is pure sarcasm, but a ford is a place in a road where a bridge was deemed not needed and the river next to it can run across the road if it becomes too flooded. The water level there is so high because of the prior mentioned issues
@screekid thank you kindly. I'm not English that good but love this videoing. Thank you learn me about this.
I think some people here are taking his question literally and it maybe a question of lost in translation. If you drive through a ford or flood then it is recommended to drive slowly and not cause a bow wave. But then The AA also recommend not driving through water deeper than 10cm in a car. Different cars will depend where the air intake is but I am sure most of us would have no clue where that is on our car - I know I don’t!
That’s it lorry drivers, you just drive right over the cones and road closed signs eh, heaven forbid you actually obey traffic laws.
I saw that ford ranger just trying to cross that flood i also have one ford ranger
All those drivers who need reading lessons.
I take it the black Audi bottled it?
Thousands of years of British history, but the town planners couldn't find anywhere else to develop than the one spot that is definitely going to flood regularly.
According to Babvvo and Tebbvo laws soon in EU all gas cars will be illegal!
The paranoia is palpable.
Full marks to CUPID and the other drivers that go slow.
Pathetic X6M
They say ‘ignorance is bliss’. In this case, ignorance is a ruined engine!
As the human condition crisis worsens, people start to take matters into there own hands. . . God forbid we should stop and think for a moment
I would hate living on a street with all those gigantic trucks coming through. Awful.
لا اله الا الله لا اله الا الله لا اله الا الله لا اله الا الله لا اله الا الله لا اله الا الله يا رب يا رب يا رب يا الله
No toots or waves from the truckers? Maybe they're too busy with the twitching sphincter?
Imagine if the road has washed away.
Like from Russia 👍
Was that an illegal immigrant sheltering in the carpet van 😂😂😂
Well he was skulking and looking a bit shifty wasn't he !
It's such a joke how people are not stopping drivers go through this "river" flood . Actually watching them drive through is bad form
These Lorry drivers think they can just blast through but risk putting the Fan through the Radiator.
Have the council closed the road off ya normally film from.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
