- A compilation of my footage from the recent 48 hours where the UK was issued amber alerts by the Met Office for heavy rain showers. The UK saw consistent rainfall for 24 hours with some areas experiencing more rain. The floods disrupted public transport and commuter roads.
Insurance should not pay out on any of these vehicles. Dum drivers everyone of them.
People in the comments who say "pure chaos my ass" clearly don't know that the UK is a natural disaster-free country, so when storms like this do happen it really does cause pure chaos. Houses will flood, people will not get to work, the entire road infrastructure and public transportation systems grind to a halt and lives will be at risk. This country is not often prepared for it. Nobody also cares about your hurricanes. That's an annual weather event and the places that get them are often prepared for them, and better yet still choose to live in said places!
All you folks that wreck your cars is pushing up insurance cost

Ah yes, the old annual "completely unforeseen" floods. This only causes "chaos" for me because the councils never bother to raise the roads on flood plains or put in adequate flood defenses, causing long delays and traffic problems. It's so bad near me that they got electronic signs that tell you the depth of floods.
Jesus, they could sort the roads out with the cost of implementing signs like that. You just couldn't make this up. In all honesty, most of these floods are caused by insufficient drainage on roads. The council would rather waste the money on something else.
