Tbh while U deluxe ain’t the best it was fun to play in local coop and it was so chaotic, while i do prefer wonder, i wish they’d bring back carrying friends and stuff.
NSMB on DS was the best out of the other New Super Mario Bros games because that game was the most original out of all of them, even the bosses are original
I can say this is how I felt ever since I got the game. it's a massive improvement to what we had. though it doesn't mean I'll stop playing the older games, I'll go back to them soon.
I love the old games just as much the only thing missing in the old games is the badges. But there is many things i prefer in nsmbu and nsmbwii that work better than in wonder. The controlls are more snappy in the older nsmb games. But the option are much greater in wonder

FR though, Mario Bros Wonder is much better in many ways. But still the NSMB series is really good as well.

I’m still playing Nsmbu deluxe whether it’s outdated or not and it’s unpopular but I prefer Nsmbu better.
