It was a very great help for me. You saved my day... thanks again.hope u will upload many more videos like this.😊
You're welcome!
Guys the whole PC -> IPHONE(IPHONE_>PC) transfers is bugged as hell. Sometimes it shows the apple iphone , sometimes it doesn't, it is not your fault, developers completely suck here, that is why you struggle.
Yes switching to android iphone is not user friendly
I think it's apple's way of trying to frustrate people to pay for more iCloud service. I don't want my pictures online.
And it doesn't keep the original date and time of copied photos, so I can't sort them chronologically. (Didn't have this problem with a Samsung phone)
Sometimes a bad cable can do that too
@@walperstyleI don't use I cloud I just drag and drop through finder
doesnt work...
you have to press authorize photo transfer on your iphone
@Wow4.0 bro said this 10 months after
@Wow4.0 so corny

mine is not showing the " trust or don't trust" sign and its not transferring. what could be the problem
When your iPhone connects to the computer for the first time, the iPhone will show a Trust prompt, tap Trust to continue. If iPhone doesn't show that prompt, you can try restarting your iPhone and reconnecting it to computer.
Was finding solutions to fix this from hours and m glad i saw your video, it worked man, thanks....
Glad it helped.
It actually works!!!🎉
why when i clicked “apple iphone” on my laptop it doesn’t show any file
Hey topcable, I Want the files I transferred to the pc removed from my iOS device.. Directly is it possibly
It is working 😍… I can give 1 M likes for this video if possible 👍
The only one video that works finally. Thanks.
When I plug my phone into my pic it just charges my phone nothing else what do I do
You need to unlock your iPhone and choose to trust the computer on your iPhone; if your iPhone does not pop up the trust box, restart your iPhone and try again.
Thanks for the video.. But how tobplay iPhone video in window.. transferred video format is not playable in window 😢
You can change the video format in Settings before transferring, go to Settings ﹥ Camera ﹥ Formats ﹥ High Efficiency (H.265 HEVC/HEIF) | Most Compatible (H.264 AVC/JPG). Or you can use iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html) to transfer your videos, which will help you convert the multimedia format to suit your Windows.
Trying to transfer from iPhone to my desktop pc. Well it don’t have the usb c on my desktop so ig I’m not transferring yay…
You may need an extender to connect the USB data cable.
is there a way to not keep them in folders and just pictures
After connecting your iPhone to your computer, open the Microsoft Photos app, select Import > From a USB device, then choose your device and save only the photos you want to a folder.
Hi, Topcable is it Possibly to Transfer the photos to Pc , but directly removes it from my iOS device too?
With iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html), you can transfer photos between iPhone and computer in both directions. You can also use it to manage your iPhone data and delete them.
@@topcapable3473 page cannot be found. Also your original instructions in the video seem strange, I don't see how those changes would affect Cutting / Copying pictures from iPhone to Paste on windows PC
Why is it important to keep originals?
i tried doing the steps you showed and i couldn't find anything on my iphone.
Then i pressed convert instead of keep originals and it worked..
Is it going to affect the documents, pictures, etc??
Keeping original is ensures that the photos you store on your iPhone are at HD resolution rather than thumbnails.
Thnx bro for sharing this trick
I'm glad it helped.
screw apple. we should get other os . or better android. should tell everyone to stop buying and supporting apple. what a PITA!
How is it possible to transfer all kind of data , not only just photos
Try iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html), you can transfer various data between iPhone and computer, including photos, videos, music, etc.
Thank you
I used this method on Win7/Win10/Win11 with Iphone 8plus/14pro. Whenever I tried to copy big qty files mobile after some time stop to response. The same happen thru Windows App - Photos. Why this simple operation is so unstable? After re-connection sometimes mobile is not visible in windows explorer ;-/ I use USB and USB-C cable, the same issue happen.
Maybe it's because you're experiencing lags when transferring a large number of files. Or you can try iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html) to quickly transfer large amounts of files between Windows and iPhone.
For some goddamn reason, only a small part of the whole library shows up in the file explorer, even after having the iPhone connected for 5hrs doing the backup. Even then, some images copy and some don't, for whatever reason. it's bugged as hell (Windows).
You can try iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html) to deeply scan your iPhone data and then transfer it.
So it's not apple's problem huh 😂
@@atwunz I wrote (Windows) to to denote the platform the issue occured on, which is solely just for information. No finger pointed involved here
Straight to the point ✅👍 . Thank you 😊
You are talking way too fast. Give us time to execute instructions one by one.
Thank you very much
This was long ago, now it doesn’t work like this
When your iPhone and PC are connected, open the Microsoft Photos app and select Import > From a USB device to transfer your photos.
i don't have the option to "download and keep originals" but i do have the transfer to pc option
On your iPhone, go to Settings > [your name], tap iCloud, then tap Photos and select Download and Keep Originals.
@@topcapable3473i dont use icloud.
Doesn't work. Just shows folder as empty most of the time, and even when connected, if you try to move large amounts of pictures it constantly fails.
After connecting your iPhone to your computer, open the Microsoft Photos app and select Import > From a USB device to transfer your photos.
Not working properly only few photos at the time, painful!
Connect your iPhone to computer and trust the computer. When the computer detects your iPhone, Microsoft Photos app will pop up and start loading your iPhone photos, then you can add them to your PC. If it still doesn't work, use iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html) to transfer your photos from iPhone to PC.
Eventhough Im getting everything correct I could'nt get the Iphone folder in my files plz tell me whats the problem
Connect your iPhone to computer and open Microsoft Photos app, then select Import > From a USB device to transfer your photos.
@@topcapable3473 thank u
They are heic format and mov not working in windows
After connecting iPhone to computer, open Microsoft Photos app, Select Import > From a USB device, then you can see the photos from iPhone, and then you can add them to your computer.
For me it shows folder is empty even after doing all the steps you said .. what can be the reason for that?
Make sure your photos are fully downloaded on your iPhone and not in the cloud in the form of thumbnails!
The best and easiest way to is email the selected photos to your Gmail account on your PC
I can’t see my dicm folder but when I click apple iPhone it goes to many folders with years like example 202402 but I can’t see my phones folders names on it please help
Click on the specific subfolder to see if your photos are there. If not, you can make sure your photos are fully downloaded on your iPhone, connect your iPhone to your computer, open the Microsoft Photos app, then select Import > From a USB device and choose your iPhone device to transfer the photos.
Is there anyway to just see photos instead of hundreds of folders with photos inside the sub folder?
Connect your iPhone to your computer and trust it, then open the Microsoft Photos app and you can view photos from your iPhone.
Search for the extension of the photos when you enter "DCIM", like search for ".jpg" in the search bar, should be in the upper right corner (not sure if all the photos have that extension). Might show you all the photos.
it works!! thanks
It works also on windows 11
The keep originals setting worked, thank you!
Does not work. Menu is wrong
It doesn't work for me . When I open the Apple Iphone on my computer, there are no folders. Any idea why?
Make sure you trust the computer and that the computer recognizes your iPhone; or you can connect the computer and iPhone, open the Microsoft Photos app, and select Import > From a USB device to transfer your photos.
Almost none of this worked for my (IPhone 7S > Windows 10)
Try iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html) to transfer your photos from iPhone to Windows.
I by mistake clicked don’t trust now what to do ?
Try restarting your iPhone and computer.
Thanks you very Much... Great help full saved my time..!

How to transfer from computer to iPhone ?
You can try iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html) or cloud-based service to do this.
Thank you, I copied from iphone after connection created a folder in my pc and paste
Mine isn't showing the "Apple iPhone" on File Explorer.
After connecting your iPhone to your computer, open the Microsoft Photos app, select Import > From a USB device, then locate your iPhone and start transferring photos.
Keeps giving error when transferring large quantity of files
Make sure your photos are downloaded to your iPhone and not saved as thumbnails.
doesn't work ((
Did as instructed but opening the transferred picture file it pops up element not found. I can see the photo try to open nothing there!
Make sure your photos are downloaded to your iPhone and not in thumbnail form, otherwise you won't be able to transfer them.
@@topcapable3473 what does it mean?
How to delete the file from iPhone once I copied to computer . It’s not letting me to deleted from pc
You can't delete your iPhone photos directly on your PC. You can wait for the transfer to complete and then delete the photos you don't need on your iPhone.
Problem is not all photos are there 😢
Make sure all your photos are downloaded to your iPhone, not stored as thumbnails in the Photos app.
What if you select "automatic" instead of "keep originals"? Will it work?
Selecting keep originals can avoid the image being in thumbnail form and causing transmission failure, and keep originals can ensure the clarity of the image.
Doesn't me to transfer cause I dont have enough iCloud storage.
Connect iPhone to computer, open Microsoft photos app, select Import > From a USB device, and then add iPhone photos to PC.
All my photos aren’t there only some
Make sure your photos are downloaded to your iPhone and not stored as thumbnails.
If I delete my photos one iPhone will it stay on pc
If you have successfully transferred the photos to your PC and saved them, then if you delete the photos on your iPhone, the photos stored on your PC will not be affected.
Not all of my photos are on in these folders to copy over - is this bcos these are saved to my phone and not icloud?
Before transferring, make sure you have downloaded all photos to your iPhone and not as thumbnails.
Just get a us
In iPhone 13 pro max doesn't show download keep original option
Connect your iPhone to your computer and choose to trust the computer, then open the Microsoft Photos app and select Import > From a USB device to transfer photos.

unfortunately the option download and keep original its not showing in my iphone i dont know what happened but before i never faced any difficulty when i transfer my photos & videos... i think the new updated had it effect
You can try updating your iOS and see if this option appears.
And how to add the photo into iPhone?
After connecting your iPhone to the computer, open the Microsoft Photo app, select Import > From a USB device, and then add iPhone photos to the computer.
Thanks a lot
I did everything right
And the quality of the photos on the computer is blurry. and I don't know why:(
😊❤
Make sure that all the pictures in your Photos app have been downloaded to the iPhone and not exist as thumbnails, otherwise, the photos will not be transferred in their original quality.
its not showing the folder
Make sure that the iPhone is connected to the computer using a good data cable and that the computer successfully detects the iPhone.
What if i want to transfer all the photos and data on my iphone to the pc?

Not working
Open Microsoft Photos, select Import > From a USB device to transfer your photos.

Yes, then you can open the folders one by one to find the videos you want and add them to your computer.
It doesn’t work on 10000 photos
Connect your iPhone to the PC and open the Microsoft Photos app, and then select Import > From a USB device to transfer your photos.
Thanks a mill!!

What about from windows to IPhone?
Try iTunes or iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html) to do that.
working yaar nice
Is it possible to transfer full dcim folder to your windows pc ? And Vice versa as well.
should have mentioned that itunes
needs to be in the PC
If you transfer photos by opening the DCIM folder on the connected Apple device, you do not need iTunes; or if you use the Microsoft Photos app to transfer photos from iPhone to PC when connecting iPhone to computer, you also do not need to install iTunes.
I have done this for years, since I upgraded to iOS 17 the DCIM folder no longer appears…
Try iPhone Data Transfer (www.appgeeker.com/iphone-data-transfer.html) to transfer photos from iPhone to computer without worrying about format compatibility issues.
