    if your struggling to master f2l, a trick i learned is to do some practice f2l solves, and whenever you get stuck or inefficiently solve a pair, stop the solve, find the correct solution online, and continue until your f2l is flawless!

      doing F2L solves helped my cross-solution be better and also improved my look-ahead a lot (I practiced F2L for 45 minutes a day for 1 month)

    I feel like it can definitely depend on your age bc It would be a lot harder to reach sub 10 if you start at 30 than when you start at 11. But having a growth mindset and actually believing that I can reach sub x goal helps out a lot because if you fully believe in being able to do something then it can more likely happen. Which is how the growth mindset works. Personally I think a lot more people can achieve sub 10. It’s just that I had a lot of people get intimidated by it or don’t want to put the work in. Bc a part of it is how your brain basically rewires itself into the person that cant reach sub 10 which is why a lot of those people do t reach that.

    For OLL and PLL, you can average sub-10 with four look last layer. JPerm had a demonstration, actually.

    great vid! ive learnt all of the skills you have said except for planning first pair in inspection, which for me is very hard and i have been trying for about a year. i am sub 11 but i will keep practicing for sub 10 :)

    i want to watch example solves on f2l, a lot of them, how speed cubers jump from pair to pair. the order they mostly tend to do, the adapted finger tricks, and the way they solve cases where the edge and the corner is on polar opposite directions 😭

    ive cubed through GCSEs and now A levels for 1.25 years and im sub 11 with no strategic practice and i still dont know full OLL so i really dont need to watch this but its fun to see how others got fast at cubing and its insane how quick you did it considering people think how long it took me to gets sub 12 (a bit less than a year but i havent practiced nearly as much since) is insane, I wonder if i could be as fast as you as quick if i actually practiced properly and had more spare time

    Very helpful and well done video! Question: does the PLL time attack result in a solved cube? I recently learned PLL so I want to make sure I’m accurate while I try to increase speed

      It depends on the order you do, but with the one I have put in the description, you should end up with a Y perm after finishing all 21 algorithms.

    brother, I have a big problem, and it has to do with the fourth tip... I don't have my turning style developed because I don't have a comfortable rubik's cube. my main is a 3x3 meilong magnetic. What do you recommend I do while I don't have a decent cube?

    Im sub 20 and have giant pauses. Also do you do cubing lessons?

      I'd say at that speed it would be best to focus more on your solutions for F2L pairs and solving your F2L pairs into the back slots, rather than focusing on lookahead. It's just something to add on once you have good solutions. And no sorry, I don't do cubing lessons at the moment.

      It depends on how much you practice, but I'd say probably anywhere between 4 months to 1 year

      I'd say once your sub 10 learning some zbll is definitely worth it, but you don't need to do it too early

    getting better is relatively easy, just stop doing solves after solces after solves. learn more algs and more efficient fingertricks. and most important for fast time is efficient f2l + cross

      Honestly, all the tips mentioned in this video apply to pretty much any speed barrier past sub 10, so I'd say just keep at it and you'll get there soon enough!

      Technically, i started it when i was a kid and learned how to solve it in like 3 minutes and gave up, forgot everything lol. so idk if it counts as extra practice time???

    So first u say it took u 8 months to get sub 10 and then at 0:58 u say that u first started cubing a few years ago.Why the hell would u lie about getting sub 10 in 8 months.

      I think he meant 8 months was how long it took to get sub 10 with his training
