Finals Average (6.63 Average) ruclips.net/video/XgqvuVYTlYA/видео.html Sponsored by Wattlecube! Go get some awesome cubes here: www.wattlecube.com.au/ Going into the comp my goal was to make finals. But that didn't seem very achievable after the first two rounds, getting two 7 second averages with many mistakes. So I was incredibly happy to achieve this average in the semi finals to qualify for...

Jesus loves us all ty
how many subs did you have when you got sponsored
i want to make finals, stop practicing (bad luck on the dnf avg)
I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL LETS GO
Very helpful and well done video! Question: does the PLL time attack result in a solved cube? I recently learned PLL so I want to make sure I’m accurate while I try to increase speed
LETS GOOO TOBY
Great video I learnt cfop 2 look two months ago my avg is 30 sec and my pb is 25 when I’m doing slow solves should I be hand scrambling or use an app for scrambles or does it not matter
I like your videos can you give me some tips what cube I should buy if you like to turn really fast please
0:21 Learn CFOP 0:59 Get really good at CFOP 4:13 Practice right 8:15 Have good turning
Really helpful, thanks
I'm glad you liked it!
@@tobyseufert my problem in solves is f2l, it takes up most of my part and I literally don't know how to do it faster. Can you help?
Jesus loves us all ty
I'm sub 10-9.5 How can i get sub 8.5 Also thank you for the video
Finger tricks, lookahead and the most important practice
I'd agree with what @alien3200 said, just make sure your solutions are efficient and you can plan cross+1 every solve and slowly increase your tps as you improve.
Helpful video!
Thanks, I'm glad it helped!
Looking at these i can see that where i'm lost is the start of my solve. Just need to be able to plan more and execute better in inspection and im golden because other then that I'm basically following your continuation almost 99% of the time haha
I agree, I think a lot of people don't take full advantage of their 15 seconds of inspection, and fixing that can give you a big boost in your solves. Good luck for your improvement!
@@tobyseufert I just really find it hard to plan first pair and “see solutions” how like a solver like you may do. So I think I need to zone in on this hard, watching your actual solutions I was like “I’ve got this” so it’s just my planning and lookahead I think. Thanks again for the vid, very helpful to see from a good solver like yourself
This will make me a euros finalist
For sure, money back guarantee included
Those walkthrough solves are very helpful. Thanks!
I'm glad to hear that!
Something LFG for the 1st scramble... insert Red Blue with R U' R' y' D2 L U' L' D2 r U r' U2 M' U M R U R' U R U R' U2 R U' R2' D' R U' R' D R
nice solution I would have done something similar if I saw the free pair in inspection I think
Here are some things that could have been better: Solve 1: 0:30 z2 D' L' D' L2 F' R' D preserves the pair 0:54 y2 U' R U' D FR'' U B' nice XCross 2:05 r' U' R' F R2 U' R' U2 r nice ZBLS Solve 2: 3:29 y L' U L U' L' U L U' L F' L' F nice ZBLS (also gives an easy ZBLL) Solve 3: 4:08 If you set up the green red pair instead you will get another free pair and a really nice continuation Solve 4: 8:06 If you solve the pair with L' U2 L you can set up another free pair 8:08 r U' R' U R U r' another nice ZBLS Solve 5: 8:31 3/4 pairs where pretty nice after y R D2 F D' R' 8:43 y z2 R' D F' L R' F D better white cross and still gives a free pair 9:34 if you solve red blue with R U2 R' U R' F R F' you can set up a free pair Still great job on the example solves!
These are some really great alternate solutions! I didn't even notice most of them, so looks like I've still got some work to do
Yoo you should do some 2x2 walkthrough solves next! Your really good at 2x2 and ur really good at teaching!
Thanks but no because I'm not good enough
F2L from 4-5 seconds is crazy, I average like 5-6 sometimes 7
Nice average. The editing also looks really good
Thanks so much!
your so fast bro congrats!! can i coly your tv3 settings abd setup
thanks! my settings are 3 on the inner one and 5 on the outer one, and my setup is just weight 5
@tobyseufert thanks man!! Whats you magnet strength
@@echo6509 sorry I only saw your comment now, I have my magnets on the strongest setting

Yep that's my goal for Toowoomba
6th place in the semi finals among he best of the best in Europe is definitely something to proud of.
Thanks!
Goated.
Haha it's a shame I couldn't meet you at euros, I didn't realise you wee there until I saw your oh average video
@@tobyseufert yeah, I wish I could’ve talked to you a bit, Zayd and I were cheering for you in the stands though!!

Next: sub 2 on 2x2
Jesus loves us all ty
thx i will make a short using this scarmbel and give credit 😊
If you are sub 15 like you would think you could beat it but it’s actually quite difficult to do so
would you say that 7-simul flip has sub-5 potential (any variation)? i know its possible (jaiden lin for example) but what's your thoughts on it?
hey eli, sorry i'm late but to answer your question I think all variations of 7simul can be done with a sub 5 global pretty easily (1-2 months of practice). as for my thoughts on it I personally think doing standard 7simul makes a lot more sense than 7simul flip because if you get good at pinky turning you can eliminate the room for error that occurs from the flip in the middle. good luck and see you soon!
I can’t understand a single word this man is saying
Yeah this vid is crazy cringe to watch back lol
Still salty over the states cup at nationals- Vic won but they have it to WA 😭😭
Not the aj aj squan case to finish 😭
i have a belief that the yiheng uses a method to plan ahead in inspection - its a method not traacking
Could also definitely be possibility
sub 10 in 6 months is wild
Did you really get sub-10 officially in under 6 months of cubing?
Yep, you can check my WCA profile if you want
For me, numbers are way easier to memo. I memo 5 of them (i just solve the 3rd one) ,and have a special word for neg numbers like -5 is sev, -4 is 8, -3 is 9, -2 is 10, and -1 is el. Its way easier for me. I just couldnt do it with letters
I have averaged 20 seconds for a while and after a year break from cubing I’m trying to relearn steps with better habits. This was very helpful so thank you
Awesome, I hope it helps you with your improvement!
nice timer slides
yikes😬
I hope your right, i get sub 50 all the time my pb is 30 if this works i will come back and edit my comment
