A really good mastering tutorial! I really appreciate all the efforts have put in this video. The small details, everything is absolutely fantastic. I really learnt a lot new things a new techniques to master my song. Just a small thing, in 17:15 the unity gain monitoring is switched off I just realised that we have to turn it off in that limiter. Because for the first time when I trying them I couldn't get a louder song as well as after I exported the audio seems to be very quiet so just a quick note on that but it's really good the tutorial! thanks🙏🙏
Thaaaanks 🥰🥰🥰 Turn on the 'unity gain monitoring' to check better what the limiter is doing, it will keep the same output volume, this way it is easier to do a before/after test and see if it distorts. But of course, turn it off before exporting the song
@@wildcrowmusic yea broo 🙏 i learnt it somehow. We need let others know them too. But anyways once again appreciate all the efforts you've put into this video💙
Just went through some of your older mastering videos, but you brought some really good details for this one. Keep making tutorials 🙏 Your content has helped me a lot since I started producing
Fr I was never thinking that a Tutorial like is gonna be released, that explains everything about Mastering THAT Crazy! This Video should be recommended for everyone 🔥❤️
I’ve particularly appreciated the last minute of the video, answering one of my main question after I master a piece: what to do if only one part is too quiet or if there’s indeed a few instruments in the intro if I’ve to obtain the same loudness of the rest of the song, thank you for the tutorial (I’d change the title with “how to master with Ozone bundle” tough 😅)
WC Throw the Tutorial about Epic orchestral intro in festivals it would be great if you could show the intro version of your song "out of my head". Orchestral intro is the only thing missing in your playlists 🎉
Great video man! 💥 I have a question, If you're using Ozone maximizer or Fabfilter Pro L2 then what would be your settings for this kinda loudness?(like Truepeak value, threshold)
Just leave -3db headroom, Export into Wav file, and then click on the "Normalize" circle. The Easiest way xD Btw, Thank You soo much for this tutorial!!! 😁
13:23, I'd never touch that on a bass dependant track. For example bigroom. You lose a lot of the energy by cutting that, especially at 30-40hz. Also on the high-end, if you have an airy vocal, cutting stuff above 20khz will reduce that. If it's more of a chill genre that EQ could be done with no doubt, but I wouldn't do it in EDM.
Disagree. Most of big producers cut around 30hz because it is not a brickwall cut and it won't remove all the freqs below, but also those freqs are not that important. Also, above 20khz you don't have any freqs you can hear and most of adults can't even hear 19khz, so it is better to remove that and have more headroom
@SuperAgentAB people don't want to turn up and down the volume with everysong, if your song sounds more quiet, instantly their brain will tell them the song is worse. Also when you play the song live in a DJ Set. But if you don't want to have the same loudness as your competitors it's your choice
Just throw bunch of soundgoodizers🗣️
Easy way to get a fat sound 😂😂
Nah just use 10 OTT's

For the soft clipping part of the master, you can use fruity limiter to monitor the wave shape.
Q grande el wildcrow loco!!
😏😏😏
I always tought that to get a sausage I had to use a limiter, but I never achieved that sound. When I found out it was clipping my life changed lol...
Can you please make video how to make sounds in serum? (Lead, Bass etc.)
Very detailed video on mastering process explained.. Thanks a lot ❤
Something to remember: volume and ott = fullness so remember to boost the volume and stack the ott
4:22 qait what is this plugin
I don't really recommend OTT in the mastering or not a lot of it.
That plugin is the Ozone Match EQ
@@wildcrowmusic ott ruins dynamics

Duda esto puede funcionar en hardstyle?? Lo voy a probar solo que la mayoría es una una base de master agresivos no?
Es lo mismo, simplemente aprieta más el master

Well, that will put the peaks at 0db but the rest will be so quiet
@@wildcrowmusic Yes, you are right. I'm just joking :D
Stock plugins mastering or Paid plugins mastering which is better?
Obviously paid plugin 🫡. You can do it with stock ones, but the paid ones are too good haha

Gracias amigo, estaria genial uno tutotrial de mezcla seria de gran ayuda.
Eso es muy complejo ya que mezclar es ecualizar, añadir reverb, balance de volumenes, etc.

Loudness war is still alive huh? Good thing there's Atmos
Of course, if the songs in your genre are at -4 LUFS you can't have yours at -9, it will sound so quiet and people will just skip it
@@wildcrowmusic can't people just turn on normalization?
@SuperAgentAB no, it will still sound more quiet
@@wildcrowmusic What? Just turn it up your speakers and enjoy. Everyone has a volume control so that's that.
