The first 700KM on the ring were quite epic to say the least. We ended up going fast quite soon, and made further adjustments to the suspension to increase grip and find more time. But most of all, we had such a fun time!

As far as i can tell you don't have problems with an oversteering car. If anything, quite the opposite : you make it look easy. 😁

Man this video brings me back to sitting right next to you in that freshly build car, absolutely flying over the Nordschleife with you behind the wheel, you can even see me gesture having goosebumps @ 5:19 haha. Amazing experience that was! The car is absolutely mental, so glad to have witnessed it live after following the build for 2 years. 🤩

It is swapped. Its an E30 1100kg 450+ HP S38 swap with a sequential gearbox. Its a mental build...
I've ridden along with him on the Ring. The guy is one heck of a driver.

I am in process of deciding what diff radio will be installed to my E36 with S50B32 because now I have 3.15 which is good for 170 km/h in third gear and that is not ideal for track or backroads 😅 but I can not decide 3.45, 3.64 and 3.91 are on the table (4.1 would by to low because of my 17 inch wheels).

Nah, this was with the inital set up that CR tried without any experience with the Öhlins TTX - we improved over time but constantly still had to little grip on the rear. After this video we changed the springs again on the rear and grip got a lot better.
But in this case sometimes the tire was just overheated and gave away, and instead of preventing the drift i just slid it out cause it's fun

@@heelandtoe_ I had this problem when my E36 M3 was too stiff at the rear. Make the rear sway bar a little softer for more grip there and a little toe-in at the rear helped a lot for me!

Polyurethane bushes. Makes the diff wine more.

Looking to build a dedicated ringtool as well, I currently have a 1M but dont think I could forgive myself if I ended up crashing it, its my baby.
So I was thinking about buying an E46 M3 and stumbled across your channel. (even saw you (and dog) at the ring the first time you drove yours, but that was before i watched the videos xD)
Do you think it is still worth it to import from the UK and do a RHD to LHD swap?
Any other tips/things I should worry about before purchasing and converting to a ringtool?
Might just go to the same garage you went to, if they have the time.

Thanks man! I would say no reg. RHD to LHD, since brexit the import tax increases the overall cost of the build. When going for a purchase, check absolutely everything - and if possible just re-do everything / do a complete full build. It's the only way to go. Can definitely recommend Custom Racetec, they know what they are doing and can help build something exactly like my car.

I am selling my E46 M3(videos on channel ) for 30.000 Euro, Carbon Roof, CLS trunklid (painted, not installed) CSL BBS wheels, new Cometic MLS headgasket, new BMW OEM rod bearings, Milltek exhaust, ex UK - properly rebuild with M3 steering rack, original green brake lines, 322 Disk Brakes 2 piece, Performance Friction PFC 322.053.63 disks, 1200 Euro for set of drnt disks. Set of 18 inch M3 wheels with slicks.Welded plates in the floor (rear susspension) The car has original paint everywhere except front bumper and two front fenders. Has coilovers from Korea, Fsomething .. I dont remember now, with stiffnes adjustment, Contact ernestnoway at gmail com.

Not yet, hopefully stays like that! I try not to over-do it.. these are more powerslides than drifts on purpose.
