@chwedl13 Can anyone honestly wrestle with God? That was an angel sent by God. That was just a way of expressing Jacob's determination to blessed by the angel. Don't take everything literally. For instance, in the Bible it say Moses talked with God face to face, yet God said that no man could see his face and live, and He let Moses see Him from the back. Jesus also said that no man has seen God's face.
