Certified - Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon

The ultimate in super-sleek family transport, this Twisted Defender 110 oozes cool. With seating for 6 and a full length roof rack it really is ready for any adventure you want to take on. Originally built by ourselves in early 2015, it has been continually upgraded and maintained throughout its life and is now ready for a new custodian to enjoy it to the full.
Sporting two sets of our specially modified Recaro seats and the full interior trimmed in exquisite nappa leather this feels like a very special place to be. Even a trip to the local shops feels like an experience but this Defender becomes even more of a joy when out exploring further afield.
As you would expect from any Twisted vehicle we have started from the ground up. The chassis has been specially coated to increase its lifespan and the handling has been dramatically improved with a full progressive suspension system giving a more controlled and predictable feel whilst delivering a supremely engaging drive. Alongside this, our 18” classic wheel finished in Zambezi silver with BF Goodrich tyre combination provides both incredible on and off-road control but also enhances the styling in a subtle and non audacious way that only we at Twisted can.
Retaining its original 2.2l diesel engine, we have given it more power and torque taking it from around 120bhp to 170bhp; the power delivery is much smoother and you have the confidence to overtake when required. Stopping power has also been enhanced with our Twisted by Alcon front 6 pot brakes and 4 pot rears making the Defender more predictable even under the heaviest braking.
The exterior has been enhanced with our usual attention and benefits from LED lighting to the headlights and taillights alongside our Twisted daytime running light bumper, giving superb visibility even on the darkest of country roads. Protected with front and rear lamp guards,Twisted window guards and satin black chequer plate throughout, the sense of purpose with this car is unmistakable. All of the exterior fixings have been replaced with stainless bolts and our timeless stage one front end means the styling is timeless. The rear looks purposeful with its full width step bumper, swing away wheel carrier, colour coded crossmember and of course the all important Twisted Yorkshire plaque.
Moving inside the Defender it has been fully stripped, our unrivalled soundproofing installed and recarpeted to provide a level of refinement usually unheard of in a Defender. On top of this our Recaro heated seats are in position and offer a fantastic level of comfort. The side bolster is low enough not to restrict access yet gives great support to hips and legs. With bases that are removable to allow access to the battery and jack we believe there is no more comfortable seating option. We have also converted the middle row seats to a twin Recaro set up with a narrow centre cubby box to give incredible comfort levels to all passengers. Almost every surface has been covered in sumptuous leather and the headlining retrimmed in alcantara suede giving a level of luxury most Defenders can only dream of.
A double DIN head unit conversion allows modern technologies such as satellite navigation, bluetooth/usb connectivity, DAB radio and reversing camera meaning your favourite driving music is only a touch away. The Twisted by Momo steering wheel completes the look. The loadspace has not been forgotten and has been soundproofed and carpeted and has a further two lock and fold seats for when you have the whole family to transport. The window surrounds and door card have also been beautifully trimmed in matching leather to complete the look.
You’d be mad to buy a used Twisted from anywhere else. While many pre-owned Defender® claim to be Twisted, only a handful have actually been built by us. So ours are certified and fully guaranteed.
We look closer, checking, repairing and upgrading wherever necessary. Only then, when we are sure it meets our exacting standards, will we issue a certificate for the logbook, protecting your investment.
