I really love what you're doing with these vehicles, you're allowing an older style vehicle which everyone loves to be brought into the 21st century. Enjoyed your video. Just to get the facts straight. The 90 is actually 92.9 inches wheelbase. The 110 is 110 inch wheelbase & the 130 is actually 127inch wheelbase.
How is the interior of the 130 doublecab any bigger than the 110 doublecab when the doors are the same length, the cab back is the same and the seating positions are the same - sure -the wheelbase is longer and the bed is bigger but occupant space has to be the same on both.
I own a 130 double cab (Dutch market special). It is not a HCPU, but a factory modified 110. It is a rd5, built in 2000.I did not check it myself, but apparently the wheelbase is also slightly longer than a “normal” 130.
Great explanations. Having a 110 station wagon myself i was suprised by your description of how it handles. At no point did you say "this handles like the Queen Mary in a choppy gale". Life is difficult, take a defender.

How many were produced of each wheel base? Also, how reliable are the defenders and what engines or year should I stay away from? Also please do a video of the inside. Thanks for your time. Is it possible to relocate the rear seats in the 110SW back a little? Or is there a stupid bulkhead in the way like in a D90? Recently went and looked at a Jeep Gladiator, and was surprised at how little room is in the back. I’ve seen more leg room in the back of a 911 😂

Hey, my dad has a 110 with only three doors, I believe it is called the 110 commercial. We use it as a farm truck and it has a front bench seat so it can fit 3. Interestingly it's an ex-british navy defender.

Standard Defender 130 will be leagues narrower than the 250!

Yes. You need to replace the roof, swap the rear tub, add the truck cab rear.

The 110 is indeed 110 inches, the 90 however is not 90 inches its actually 93 inches, but 110 and 90 sounded better than 110 and 93.
And the 130 has actually 127" wheelbase.
