Of coarse it was well informitive for those it may concern as well still fun and light hearted . Good vid ellbat , but this also may be why you have 500k subs but less than 100k views . Maybe do some fillers with reaction vids like I mentioned or other easy stuff to fill some gaps and test the waters . But as always love the vids , much love to you , you already know . Your period blood doesn’t naturally have a smell other than a general metallic blood smell - a lot of the nasty smell associated with periods come from the blood interacting with the fragrances on traditional period products. I’ve never had a smell with a period cup ♥️ I wonder about the undies but I’m sure it wouldn’t be as bad as traditional products!

My 12yr old daughter prefers period underwear, and to be honest I prefer her to wear them. She doesn’t have to worry about pads while at school, or the potential issues with a pad related malfunction. She got hers from a trip to Australia and it was a 5 or 7 pack with different styles (hipster brief, boy short, etc) it wasn’t a large brand type and they weren’t as expensive as ones you got. The fabric is also very similar to a pair of cotton underwear. She’s been using them for over a year, with no ‘accidents’ or nighttime spillage. The underwear themselves have really held up, with minimal discolouration. (underwear is a light grey colour with red elastic waistband). 10/10 worth it and would buy again.

Plus it's so much cheaper in the long run. They're very expensive off the bat, but you have to remember they'll last YEARS - unlike pads or tampons, which you have to buy every month. Plus it's a really easy way to reduce waste in landfill, because all the other positives make it really convenient to make the switch.

That being said, I cannot wear them on my heavy days for very long as I start to leak around the crotch outer seams. Although they claim 3-4 tampons worth of absorbency, that really only is if you are evenly distributing the blood around the underwear, which to my understanding, most vaginas do not.

True !! But it’s that classic case of: you still need that £40 upfront and for low-income people, they don’t. You’ll only have £2 at that time which you’ll have to spend on pads. You can’t save towards it so you end up spending more long term on pads than the person who could afford to buy this underwear. It’s a horrible case of wealth is needed to buy quality to save money :(

They seem very inclusive as well and seem to have good reviews. They've tested negative for PFAS. Note that there's around 4,700 different PFAS chemicals and most of these period underwear companies only test a few. I Would Think that it is cheaper buying these underwear for me, my periods usually last 2 weeks. So it would be cheaper buying some of these!

I have really been looking into period underwear recently and the one thing that is putting me off it is the price, it is insane and I know it would be worth it but getting one pair for a 5-7 day period is tough. I have seen some on M&S and sainsburys which I am tempted to get but I haven't seen any reviews but they are around £10-£15 which is so much better!

I've bought some period panties from Adore Me and they're SO much cheaper and I absolutely love them! The designs are super cute, I even have a white pair but they are so leak proof with the inside black fabric it's not even a concern. 100% recommend.

Too bad I didn't learn about these before I started birth control pills to deal with my period lol. My periods are naturally extremely painful to the point where I used to curl up in bed in the fetal position and try not to cry from the pain, even after taking 6 ibuprofen pills in a day. The bleeding was so heavy I had to wear both a pad and tampon at the same time and still change them every 3 hours to avoid leaks.. Now that I'm on the pill my periods have completely vanished except for some mild cramping that only lasts an hour or two, and there's no bleeding. I also have no more PMS at all and my hormonal acne has completely cleared up!

I’d love to see you try cloth period pads next!
I use them every month and I love them. They’re much more affordable than period underwear. Ones with a zorb core are very absorbent but thin, so it doesn’t feel like a nappy.

I love that you are inclusive and eco friendly and give people an alternative to the normal period stuff. I never thought I would want to try something different than pads, but those panties and the cup look really good.
Also thank you for making periods a topic that can be spoken about!
I myself don't even like to talk about my own period because of the taboo everyone has, but you break this taboo and just review period panties on youtube while being monetised.
    I salute to you
    Keep doing you

I tried these, and yes, the sizing does tend towards the small side.
For me, I think I was a bit too enthusiastic and used my only pair on day 2 for about 6 hours, and well...it felt exactly like I was wearing a wet bikini bottom. After that, I lost trust in them which is a shame, as they would be good for day 3 and 4.
Oh, and YESSSSSS, I don't care if it's TMI, but overnight pads? I have to wear shorts to bed as well, I can't lie on my stomach or my back AT ALL, and even though the pads are extra long, the wonders (horrors) of gravity mean that if I accidentally roll over onto my back or stomach in my sleep, there will still be...issues...right up to the top elastic of my underpants, front and/or back! (Yet not that much stuff in the middle of the actual pad itself).
    Ugh. lol

This is not only a great investment, but they’re environmentally friendly AND you can finally stop staining and ruining your normal everyday underwear! Definitely need to invest in this! I’m not too comfortable w the idea of the diva cup 😂 but this seems like a better alternative for myself!

3 months ago, my life changed forever. I live in a complex where we share a laundry room. People leave things there that they do not need such as clothes, food, and other stuff, so people who need it can take it. I saw some adult diapers there, they had been there for a few months, so I knew no one wanted them. I took them and tried them for my period. OMG my life is so changed. I have used them for two periods now and I will never use pads for my heavy days again. I actually think that they make my period shorter because I do not clench up trying to keep myself from flowing out on to my panties. I just let go and let it flow and it is glorious. Then I throw them away after a day. I use like 2 or 3 for an entire period instead of 8 or 9 pads. I know that the ones she’s talking about would be more environmental but I’m not ready to trust them yet. Maybe soon but not yet. All in all, any form of period panties or adult diapers are amazing and life changing for periods.

That’s awesome. It’s actually shocking that no one has really thought of doing this or talked about doing it. Probably cause of stigma. I would definitely try those if they’re undetectable through pants

@@kee7374 as long as you get a good brand then they are. I wouldn't wear them under leggings but anything with some structure would be fine. Even skirts.

That is cool that they're so inclusive. What would be more comfortable for trans and non binary people never crossed my mind. When i get paid I'm gonna buy a pair. Let's hope asos has them in stock not trynna pay customs either.

I just can’t stand the thought of these. I may be able to use them as a backup for my other period products, but my bleeding is WAY too heavy for these. I also don’t have a washer in my apartment, so it’s not worth it for me. I can understand if you have a machine and a more reasonable level of bleeding.

I wouldn't completely write them off, reusable products generally absorb much more than single use ones. My friend that's got endometriosis and bleeds like crazy used to think the same but now she swears by reusable pads, can go at least twice as long before having to change and has saved a significant amount of money because of how much she was having to buy before. She has some panties but prefers the pads because it's much easier to swap them out when you need to change and they'e cheaper.
The washer might not be a major issue as you have to rinse/soak them in cold water till it runs clear and then you can chuck them in with your normal wash. So you can leave them soaking in a washing bowl for a couple of days then take all your washing to the laundrette as usual. Still a bit of a faf though I suppose.
Obviously it's up to you and I can definitely see how the washer situation would put you off, just want you to have all the info. I see lots of people assuming it wouldn't be beneficial for them because of heavy bleeding when they're actually the ones who could benefit the most.

I would love to give them a try cause I've always been kinda upset about the fact that I have to pay so much money in a year long usage for pads and also some of the pads just make you feel uncomfortable or they give me allergy reactions! besides all these the environmental issues as you mentioned are noticeable. I hope one day there will be the ingredients for these products in a cheaper and more environmental friendly ways.

I’ve been wearing THINX for four or five years already, I wear them day and night, and just ordered new styles! They are true heroes. They are rather expensive, granted..., but they also have projects in Africa where they donate washable pads for young girls so they can to go school during their period 👏 Hopefully as this technology develops it will become more affordable for everyone. Thanks for always talking about the right topics!
