We the young ones will be forced to pay attention to politics, finally. Because like it or not, this was politically calculated. Some people made these decisions and stuck by them despite the condemnation. Their reasons will be examined and analyzed and important questions asked as the grinding poverty spreads.
I think the major issue was the pressure of demand for $due to these BTC transactions. CBN was already struggling to meet its $ demands due to slump in oil price and cut in oil demand. As this to other demands, then.... My question is how do those on the P2P platforms eventually get their remittance?
For P2P transactions to work, the platform only needs to take control of one asset (usually crypto escrow) being exchanged and wait for the other transfer to completed to release the escrow to the other party once they confirm receipt. The FIAT transaction can be done using regular bank transactions.
I have been unable to complete registration of Trove or any other accounts due to lack of BIV , NIN plus no Nigeria bank account. Kindly advise me on this important issue. I resides in the USA. I have several accounts in the USA plus several debit cards and credit cards. Please kindly advise asap Sincerely Kunle Ola. Sr USA

Before the advent of bitcoin, were people not doing that. In the current regime of Buhari, hug sums of money have been swallowed by animals, did bitcoin have anything to do with it? Of course not, and why can't the government be strict with regulations on how the government officials handle its funds, rather than shut down the chances of other countries investing in your own country by shutting down a whole industry of billions in your country because of INSECURITY.
This is totally messed up, and these people are not doing Nigerians any good at all. People are doing fraud with banks also, and with cash money. Why do they just worry so much?
I can't go further. Thanks for reading through. This is just so burning inside me.....
Most P2P platform use WhatsApp for communication. Migrate to telegram or signal to ensure privacy of your communication and transaction.
I watched every thing

I just hope they reverse this ban... Imagine how many accounts that must have been blocked
There was an outcry but I don’t think it was resolved for anyone
When accounts get block will anyone be able to take your money later in the future or you will lose your money.
